@Arawn93 And it's just a really nice and chilled game to play in portable innit. I can see myself spending a lot more time with NMS because of this port.
@Nanami_Ataraxi there are several modes to choose from including a creative mode, normal and survival so you can chill if you don't fancy being tested with survival stuff.
With regards to crashes, I've been hearing that a fresh install solves the issues and crashes are happening on old versions that were already installed and then updated with Anniversary. Can't verify this at all rn and I've had no issues with the game so far, although mine was a completely fresh install.
@PJOReilly My base version Skyrim did crash on occasion too, so not sure if that's a particularly new problem, although if it's more frequent that's not great.
Getting asked about a few things so I'll just stick a comment up here. There's NG+ once you've beaten the game and you'll also unlock the ability to lower your party's levels, level down, in order to make battles more difficult and gain more XP.
@Mgalens Honestly, beyond some loading issues here and there and some dynamic resolution kicking in here and there, i think you'll be quite impressed overall.
A few folk asking so I'll throw up a general comment, you do not need to have played 1 and 2 to enjoy this one. Everything is explained where necessary and it's very much its own thing overall. So dive in!
@TechEagle Much cleaner image in docked and handheld. The res defo dips down in wide open spaces in handheld, but it's night and day, as far as I can judge it, over the image quality of 2. Not perfect but better. Docked is very smooth though, I didn't notice any problems there.
@Reyren You're not gonna be lost at all, you can still fully follow the story, but I guess you'll appreciate some things it does more if you have played TH. I would say if you really enjoyed Calamity you'll really enjoy this though, I wouldn't let not having played TH put you off.
@tgt There are text speed settings, a fast forward function and auto-scroll that moves the text along without you needing to press anything. None of the other options you've mentioned, unfortunately.
@somnambulance I spent 50 with it because I was being extremely thorough for review, but I think you could definitely get through the campaign in about 40. The there are different endings to go back for!
@RGB87 The prologue is the slowest part in this regard. Once the heat gets cranked up there's lots of action, the final 3rd has a load of great big fights to enjoy.
@Cynas Agreed! That's a lovely little touch. The game is just excellent overall with how it handles information, there's tons of content in your war chronicles that covers everything you need to know, and in battles they've done everything they can to make situations easy to read. It's so good!
@the8thark I've played all of the Empire games and I actually mentioned in the review that I understand compromises need to be made for musou action to run on Switch. I don't know what else to tell you.

Re: Review In Progress: No Man's Sky - Right Up There With The Very Best Switch Ports
@calbeau It's genuinely really impressive. I haven't even had any noticeable stutter yet in almost 13hrs of play. Amazing port.

Re: Mini Review: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Anniversary Edition - And Another One!
@Astral-Grain New save without survival. I'll investigate a little further with survival switched on and see if I spot anything!
Re: Mini Review: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Anniversary Edition - And Another One!
@Astral-Grain I've been playing away on it and haven't had anything more than the usual stutters here and there. Strange.

Re: Review: Thymesia - Cloud Version - A Soulslike That Shows Some Promise, Just Not On Switch
@IronMan30 No worries at all! It's a shame it turned out so bad for Switch.
Re: Review: Thymesia - Cloud Version - A Soulslike That Shows Some Promise, Just Not On Switch
@IronMan30 I wrote both of the reviews.
Re: Xenoblade Chronicles 3 - Chain Attacks Guide
@Ooyah No worries. Yeah, you'll not be able to get past 99% if you use a healer attack - unless it's a hero who can ignore the rule.
Re: Xenoblade Chronicles 3 - Chain Attacks Guide
@D_Honch There's a warning at the top, but regardless the screens have now been changed just to make doubly sure.
Re: Xenoblade Chronicles 3: All Unique Monster Locations - Cadensia Region
@zaka No! Go for it.

Re: Review: Xenoblade Chronicles 3 - An Epic, Emotionally-Charged Masterpiece
@rex_rex Sorry I didn't mention the soundtrack! Hard to fit everything in, but it's fantastic.
Re: Review: Xenoblade Chronicles 3 - An Epic, Emotionally-Charged Masterpiece
@RennanNT And you can level down once you've beaten the game too!
Re: Review: Xenoblade Chronicles 3 - An Epic, Emotionally-Charged Masterpiece
@RennanNT NG+ unlocks after you've beaten the game for the first time.

@Randomarcadedude Defo worth playing the others just because they're so damn good.
Re: Review: Xenoblade Chronicles 3 - An Epic, Emotionally-Charged Masterpiece
@Indielink I've played 150hrs so far if that helps!
Re: Review: Xenoblade Chronicles 3 - An Epic, Emotionally-Charged Masterpiece
@Ralizah you're good to go!

Re: Hands On: Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Is A Heck Of An Emotional Ride So Far
@TechEagle For the most part it does, yes.
Re: Hands On: Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Is A Heck Of An Emotional Ride So Far
@Glrd Handheld has been perfect so far, picture clarity is also much sharper than 2, it's just a more technically impressive game all around.
Re: Hands On: Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Is A Heck Of An Emotional Ride So Far
@abbyhitter segmented
Re: Review: Shadowrun Trilogy - A Fantastic Trio Utterly Let Down By Shoddy Ports
@BeautyandtheBeer The Series X version is much, much better than this, but it does still have bugs, freezing issues and so on. A shame.

Re: Review: Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga - A Triumphant Return To A Galaxy Far, Far Away
@brunojenso Minimal blur in handheld, it's surprisingly crisp looking for the vast majority of the time.

@XenoShaun Haven't tried with day one patch yet, but I'll give it a whirl and add an update if it's improved the situation.
Re: Hands On: Triangle Strategy Delivers Deep Turn-Based Combat To Match Its Incredible Art
@Zimon It's definitely shaping up really nicely.
