4/10 means "barely functional game" to most people... Air Riders works just fine. Yeah, Metro went into this offended that Air Riders is a spinoff that exists
...If we can make companions silent with subtitles, that will be fine. I've never, ever begged for full voice acting in games because it's usually a mistake.
This design is... okay, except the fact that the eyes are all wrong. Well, "wrong"? Presumably, in the next movie, Mario will be the one raising Yoshi instead of the other way around. If that's the case, the infantile look sort of works. I just inherently associate Yoshis with maturity/responsibility because of Yoshi's Island, which works very well with the relaxed heavy eyelids of the usual design.
Though, it will be a major missed opportunity if we never get a flashback scene that references Yoshi's Island.
As happy as I am for Sonic getting his rings back together... I'm completely racer'd out with MKW and Air Riders (And I still have MK8D!) Crossovers and characters yapping at each other just isn't as appealing as a spoonful of pure 100% Kirby.
Fingers crossed that we'll get a Kirby movie... Unfortunately, I don't think Metroid will get a movie before Splatoon, Animal Crossing, or the first mentioned IP. Metroid is talked about a lot, but isn't actually popular by the numbers.
Digital TCG is utterly worthless and fleeting. You won't own these shiny phone pictures in ten years, but I have my actual cards from twenty years ago.
Please don't support this and continue to normalize gacha.
There's a lot of weirdly misplaced grouchy negativity in the comments, when the blunt truth is clear to me. Sakurai and the developers of Kirby Air Riders REALLY care about and are confident about what they have to offer. I'm also pretty sure that MP4 isn't being shown off because it's currently underbaked and confidence in it has yet to surface.
Honestly, I'm pretty alright without every character in every modern video game trying to yap at me. However, it struck me as unusual that they didn't even get voice actors for the /cutscenes/ for the Switch games. That's would be the happy medium for me.
Take a shot for every game that would be better if it didn't insist on chaining itself to strict soulslike-like mechanics. Silksong isn't a bad game in its current state by any means, it's amazing, the problem is that the devs are starting to show the sin of pride. My prediction is that they will, in fact, fold and offer other difficulty settings, including an easier mode. But they will feature an even HARDER mode most prominently.

Re: Review: Kirby Air Riders (Switch 2) - Incredibly Chaotic, But Satisfyingly Deep & Rewarding Racing
I know I'll like this game more than MKW, which was functionally a disaster (the most tragic kind of disaster).

I hope that Stormtrooper Samus' aim will not suffer.
