Re: Pachter: Price Cut Unlikely To Help Wii U Without Software Support

NintendoPro64

@Link41x
No you aren't! My Wii U has offered me plenty of entertainment already and honestly, I am too busy to beat a game in one day and start waiting for the next. I just wish more "fans" had more FAITH. Seriously, the cynicism all over the Internet is horrific. Just a couple of hours ago, I posted a thread linking to an article that shows that Nintendo is in NO danger of going third party. And what do I get? Tons of idiots commenting on "poor journalism", saying he isn't more credible than Patcher, and how they still think the Wii U is doomed. Honestly, this site is definitely one of the more positive sites out there, but it is not without its own share of ridiculous negativity. I'd sure like to see all these idiots on this site say the Wii U is "doomed" after this E3. Seriously, have we already forgotten the 3DS?

Re: Investors Urge Nintendo to Develop for Smartphones

NintendoPro64

It's so nice, going back, looking upon thow the 3DS was "doomed", how many snobby smart allicks here were talking about Nintendo having to do smartphones, etc. and then looking at the 3DS now. I just wish people could look back at this and realize that you don't doom a console after it hasn't even been for half a year. Seriously, why do so few people have faith in Nintendo?

Well forget the sceptics. I know Nintendo will be fine. And I also hope the Wii U dominates next gen to prove to this messed up industry that power isn't everything, ONCE AND FOR ALL!

Re: Shin'en Multimedia Has Two Wii U Games In The Pipeline

NintendoPro64

Hearing they are working on 2 new Wii U games is amazing news alone. Clearly, Nano Assault Neo has made good money and helped introduce their talents to early adopters.

As for F-Zero, they are definitely a good match, but I am skeptical of Nintendo actually licensing the IP to them. but if it happens...

@Intrepid
Yeah, I actually noticed that myself. As great a community as Nintendo Life is, the back and forth can actually get pretty bad. And a lot of the people can be awfully stubborn and rude on this site. The only site I know that doesn't have this problem is Nintendoenthusiast, and that's because their traffic is pretty low.

@NintendoPro64
On second thought, I won't be making the thread. I just posted it, and everyone was faithless and cruel. When you have people defending Patcher on a pro-Nintendo site, something is wrong. Funny thing is, I didn't even write the article, and every fact was full proof. Well Nintendo, guess it's up to you to restore faith, because the Internet is crap.

@Neram
You do realize that Sony's probably gonna charge for online and is gradually alienating themselves out of Japan right? Plus, the boost in sales cause by Lego City and Monster Hunter is significant. While it wasn't much sales itself, it shows software will move units, so imagine what an actual AAA game will do! Seriously people, we got to stop comparing Nintendo to Sega. In fact, I think I am going to soon make a thread about this.

Re: Pachter: Price Cut Unlikely To Help Wii U Without Software Support

NintendoPro64

Wow. For once, Patcher actually said something smart by saying that a price cut without good software won't boost sales much. Too bad he torpedoed smartness of the statement by then being dumb enough to say that NPD figures for March will be less then Februrary, even though America got Lego City and Monster Hunter and VGChartz reported higher figures for every region that month.

Seriously Patcher, why do have to say something stupid the one time you say something smart?

Re: Developer Interview: Ubisoft on the Expanding Rayman Legends and Wii U's Free Challenge Mode

@Magolor
Sorry bro. I will agree, I have been around the Internet and have seen a lot of delusional Nintendo fanboys. (not fans, fanboys). But there is NOTHING you can do to convince me that Nintendo fanboys are worse than Sony Drones. They...are heartless. Also, please don't tell me you're getting this for the PS3 instead of the Wii U just so you can get another trophy.

Re: Developer Interview: Ubisoft on the Expanding Rayman Legends and Wii U's Free Challenge Mode

NintendoPro64

That's cool. Still plan on getting this and for Wii U of course. That said, I hope Ubisoft is prepared to put a TON of marketing into this game. With Wind Waker, GTAV, and who knows what else coming out around that time, Rayman is going to need help staying relevant. Honestly, I am long over the delay decision and porting. At this point, I just don't want the game to bomb. I loved Rayman when I had a Gamboy Advance, and thought Rayman Origins was cool. I would LOVE to see Rayman become mainstream again. It certainly would freshen things up in this market full of drab shooters and other "hardcore" crap.

Re: Review: Dillon's Rolling Western: The Last Ranger (3DS eShop)

NintendoPro64

I haven't gotten either game, but I definitely will! Once I get my own 3DS as I'll be going to college soon and I certainly don't need to be adding anymore eShop credit to the family 3DS. Both games look good enough, repetitiveness as never been a real dealbreaker for me anyway. My only gripe is that it might have been a good idea to add Circle Pad Pro support.

Re: New 3DS Nintendo Direct to Broadcast on 17th April

NintendoPro64

@SCAR392
Thank you! I swear, I have been hearing all kinds of clowns all over the Internet jittering about how Nintendo is abandoning the Wii U. I have also been seeing fans begging for more info on the Wii U. Look folks, we got to be patient! It's not that Nintendo isn't doing anything. There just holding back to strike at the right moment! A lot of people seem to get the impression that because they haven't announced a whole lot since January, nothing is known but that Direct revealed a ton already. I understand you all want some assurance that Nintendo has some aces right now, but you got have faith and wait! At this point, revealing anything big for the Wii U is just going to undermine their E3 presentation. The reason they are focusing on the 3DS is so they can focus on Wii U later and because the 3DS is made in the shade. We need to stop acting as though if something doesn't have a concrete release date or footage, it won't arrive! Patience is a virtue.

@WiiUDaily
I was wondering when someone would respond to that troll. Seriously, I see that guy dumping trash all over the place. I even saw the clown post in the Duck Tales about how it was not going to sell Wii U's. I am also confident the Wii U will be a success too.

@SpaceApe
Seriously bro, what's your problem?

Re: Cloudberry Kingdom Could Yet Make It To 3DS

NintendoPro64

It's nice to see a 3DS version is still on the table. The game looks interesting. Really glad to see Nintendo reaching out for all these indie games. Frankly, I have feeling I am going to be buying way more indie games than a lot of the crappy third party games that are being shoveled out these days. (I'm looking at you EA.)

Re: Developers: No Nostalgia Allowed in Creating Core of Dark Moon

NintendoPro64

But seriously though, I think it's high time we laid NSMB to rest. Each game was good, but all that nostalgia's doing is making the experience stale. For Mario's next 2D adventure, lose the "New" sticker, and revamp everything! Or borrow from Super Mario Bros. 2 or Super Mario Land! Being able to use 4 different characters for different situations or being able to kick butt in a vehicle could really give Mario a much needed change of pace!

Oh, and Miyamoto, it's good to hear you'll be taking online more seriously from now on. So next time you make a 2D Mario, follow Ubisoft's example and add some leaderboards or online challenge modes or something! It would break my heart if the next 2D Mario got called "rehash", because of the double-NSMB bananza last year.

Re: Developers: No Nostalgia Allowed in Creating Core of Dark Moon

NintendoPro64

Very interesting. I personally would have liked it if we just saw Mario sleeping in the house or something and Luigi progressing on his own, but hey, don't take prisoners I guess. Certainly helped Luigi stand his own. Hope this game outsells the original!
@ajmetz
I 100% agree! For Super Mario 3D Land, I liked the allusion pool.
But for NSMB2, all the recycling did was weigh that game down.
