The football season is slowly drawing to a close, which can only mean one thing: EA will soon be announcing its next FIFA title in preparation for the next campaign.
Fans of the series will be pleased to hear EA will be revealing more news on FIFA 14 tomorrow, on the same day as Nintendo Direct. Coincidence? Probably, yes.
FIFA 13 was a Wii U launch title and was also released on the 3DS - we expect to see the new iteration revealed for both.
What would you like to see from the next FIFA? What improvements can be made? Let us know in the comments section below.

Another Fifa? Wow these come out faster than a speeding bullet...
Is all of these news popping up this spoiling the 3ds direct? Because this is what it looks like.
Ugh...
Will the big news tomorrow be that you get to kick a ball?
How to improve FIFA?
Jumpers for goal posts, 18 a side, uneven pitches, and games lasting until the person who's ball it is is called in for tea....
...Or swisher graphics and an updated roster. Probably.
AWWWWWWWWWW YEEA... Oh wait.
FIFA's great when it comes to local multiplayer. Me and my brothers usually play together in the holidays.
All I ask for is a non-gimped version for the Wii U. No omissions, no lame excuses.
They never change anything in FIFA , but people buy it anyway , they like to be fooled year after year after year. EA is cashing in and are laughing their asses off.
It'll be announced that no more FIFA games will come to Nintendo systems.
@NiBar Not much competition now if you ask me.
PES 08 & 09 were excellent games for the Wii but now with the Wii U we at least need a solid football simulation. It would be nice if they incorporated all controls schemes and with it some of the point play system from the Wii PES games... but this is EA, we'll be lucky to get the same version across platforms.
Where's my NHL or MLB game?
Really got into futbol when I saw my first world cup in 2010. I actually went out and bought the official FIFA World Cup video game and loved it. Turns out my home team has actually won two MLS championships and I had no idea either LOL I think I'll get the next world cup game.
Hopefully after last year was a re-hash on the 3DS, next year is something new.
I always buy them every year. Worth it for me since I love football that much. PC version though.
I'll buy PES, don't care about EA and will not support the company in any platform.
Hard to care at all
I hope FIFA does get announced for Wii U despite the rumours that it may not be coming.
EA puts a lot of work into their main FIFA game on 360 and PS3, and it's certainly worth buying each year if you're going to spend all year playing it. However, the first couple of games of each new generation are not that great. The install base simply isn't big enough to make it worth putting too much money into for them. I'll probably stick with the 360/PS3 versions for another couple of years. I know some journalists that have been writing articles on it, and the embargo lifts at 1pm today UK time, so expect some kind of official news before then.
@MrSRArter haha I was thinking that
Nintendo should tell EA they're not allowed to make 3DS games unless they actually show the Wii U some public support.
I didn't care too much that online play is cut back heavily on Wii U as I can never find anyone online to play the online seasons mode.
Depending on how much is updated, I haven't decided if I will buy yet. I probably won't get it on release, more likely to pick it up when it drops enough in price.
