Re: Review: Syberia (Switch)

NintendoFanBoy16

I've already played the Syberia game series on the PC, so i have no interest in this at all.

I get the feeling that 3rd party developers see the Nintendo Switch as an easy way of porting their old games to the system for a quick buck, and a hefty one at that.

Re: Guide: Where to Pre-Order Your SNES Mini / Super NES Classic Edition

NintendoFanBoy16

This guy has managed to sell 28 of them, what a joke.

Either he is a scammer though, or not too bright as they have sold for around the purchase price, and what with Ebay and Paypal fee's , he will be selling at a loss.

Re: Nintendo's Official UK Store Opens Pre-Orders For Fire Emblem Fates: Limited Edition - Rapidly Sells Out

NintendoFanBoy16

@Marshi

I agree, and it's always the true fans that miss out.

By making very few limited edition bundles, thus creating hype, this only encourages the scalpers.

If your going to make very few copies, then at least limit it to 1 per person.

At least this way, more people get to buy the game for enjoyment, ie play, rather than stick it straight on Ebay to fleece other people.

This only hurts their reputation in the long run.

Re: Nintendo Download: 10th March (Europe)

NintendoFanBoy16

I'm looking forward to Stella Glow, but i'm currently in the middle of playing Bravely Second. Then we have Yokai Watch coming out the end of April, then Fire Emblem Fates the 20th of May.

I wish i had the time to play them all, but i find myself with a backlog of games from over 5 years ago.

First World problems.

Re: Rumour: The European Version of Bravely Second Only Has "Good" Sidequest Endings

NintendoFanBoy16

@kenrulei

Then if that's the case, surely we as consumers should be given the option to be able to replay the game for multiple endings if we want to.

I'll admit that i'm a diehard Nintendo Fanboy, hence the username lol. But the way Nintendo published games have been going lately in terms of localization and censorship over here in the West, i'm really considering only buying second hand, or just boycotting them altogether.

I hate paying full price for a game knowing that we have an inferior version of it, to that of another country.

Although i don't agree with it, i can see why there are so many people out there who have hacked 3DS's so they can play import games, which can then be patched with US/EU language.

Re: Rumour: The European Version of Bravely Second Only Has "Good" Sidequest Endings

NintendoFanBoy16

If this is true about the bad ending being cut from the game, then this is just plain wrong, and a big middle finger to Western fans of the series.

I can understand certain costumes being cut or altered, character age's being changed, for people who might be offended because of sexual reference's. But to cut out additional ending's, therefore changing the outcome of a story, is crossing the line in my opinion.

This to me is not localisation, but Censorship, and people have a right to express their opinion, because to me the Western World in general has become too PC.

We now have two JRPG games which have been butchered over here in the West, ie Fire Emblem Fates, and now Bravely Second.

This really needs to stop.

Re: GAME Launches UK Pre-Orders for Splatoon amiibo and New Wave for Super Smash Bros.

NintendoFanBoy16

@Alundra -1998 I'm pretty sure that were still on Wave 4 in UK (EU) as some of the waves were split up.

Wave 4 comprises of Charizard, Wario, Pacman, Robin, Lucina, and Ness, which come out at the end of April, and Wave 5 are the current figures up for pre-order.

Game have also confirmed via Twitter that all orders using forwarding UK addresses via forwarding sites will be also be manually cancelled.

Re: Nintendo's Official UK Store Opens Pre-Orders for Splatoon Bundles and amiibo

NintendoFanBoy16

It just goes to show how popular amiibo is when items can be sold out within half an hour of appearing online.

Nintendo really need to get their act together and work with other manufacturing companies to produce more of these figures.

Unless your off work, near a computer/phone app, the minute these items go up for pre-order you have virtually zero chance of getting them for the rrp price.
