According to MVG 4:3 is NOT the correct aspect ratio for this system. Either is 16:9 so it's still wrong, but the author should update this review.

It would be nice if the article mentioned if there will be a physical edition or if it’s digital only.
I guess it’s too much to ask that a journalist go beyond re-writing a press release.

Such a shame that Panic Button wasted their time and effort to port this only for Bethesda to cancel the physical version.

Looks really good! Shame there is no physical version so I can’t buy it until it’s massively discounted.

@iammikegaines Yes I am. Unless word from hands-on previews and review is that it's a terrible port and should be avoided, of course.

I was ready to buy this day one but no physical release means I can’t now.

I wish I didn’t get caught up in the hype and buy this game. It’s very over rated. The game looks nice but it’s extremely short and repetitive in its short playtime. Total rip off. If you have to see what the game is about just watch a YouTube play through.

Is it possible that Konami used the wrong build of the demo by mistake? The resolution is so low and the textures so bad I’m having a hard time believing this is really the game they plan on releasing.

When this first came out I was keen to pick this game up for my son for Christmas. Then when I saw what they were charging for the physical edition (which doesn’t even have the full game on the card) and then saw the prices of the extra ships I just laughed and shook my head.
I feel sorry for the developers because the game looks really good but I just don’t know what the management at Ubisoft are smoking.
If the game and extras get cheap enough I may eventually get a copy I guess but after seeing how they tried to completely hose consumers it’ll have to get REAL cheap.

The problem with this article is that Nintendo’s statement says nothing about free to play being the reason why some games will not require the paid service to play online. That is 100% the invention of the article’s author. Nintendo only sited Fortnite as an example.

More likely the distinction is games that use Nintendo’s servers will require the fee. Fortnite uses Epic’s own servers don’t forget.

Also sanderv, whatever you think of Fortnite it is not play to win. Money spent can only get you cosmetic items.

It was great when Nintendo Life did a article and video highlighting the problems with the gyro controls in this game, but when a patch came out that made them even worse you have been completely silent on the issue! Unless I have missed something?

Another major release with no physical version, rather just a dongle for a digital version.

On the Wii U shop its says owners of the original get this as a free upgrade, so does this replace the original version? If so does this include the original (not super difficult) content?

@mizumaru I second this, they need a wii mote + nunchuck option or I won't be able to play it. A local LAN option would be cool too, but I'm just dreaming there!

They should rename this to 'How to Get Released'.
