I will echo the comments above and request to please stop calling us “Latinx.” It is downright offensive and not at all inclusive in the way you think. If you really need a neutral term just say “Latin” or something. Our language is gendered and we don’t really appreciate English speakers forcing a term down our throats.
Those of you saying that Splatoon 3 could just be updates to 2 obviously haven’t played the game seriously enough to where you can see how certain things have no fix anymore.
The current status of the game overwhelmingly favors bomb and special spam, which also leads to bad habits like sploosh players who paint useless turf and poop missiles. Most of the specials themselves are poorly designed or suck (splashdown, baller) or are boring/have little player agency (missiles, armor).
A lot of maps have serious issues, like being cramped, too narrow, few ways to get out of spawn, and/or modes that are almost unplayable on them.
Splatoon 3 seems to fix a good number of things, such as interesting specials that require more than a button push to push (heh) for free, better maps (though they’ll probably bring back Moray Towers, again…), and more movement options that might not have worked as well with the current maps in 2.
@CodyMKW I had two Pro controllers that gave me that issue, where the left joystick drifted down. It can be pretty frustrating, especially in games like Splatoon.
Time travel is undeniably cheating, but most of the time it doesn’t affect other players. How about we just enjoy the game the way we want to enjoy it?
@KitsuneNight Agree that it is a silly thing to argue about, but you (probably) knew that people were going to call you out on it, so it feels like you were just looking for attention. The official name is Switch and the only abbreviation I’ve seen thrown around is NSW.
This has to be the best co op NES game. Straight forward, fun, rpg elements, and you get a smile from the waitress for free! The only thing I loathed was the password system, with over 30 characters to input and some were too similar too each other.
@Realness I had a chance to try it at Best Buy, and I was bored watching others play. Once I played the game felt great and it completely changed my opinion of it. I say try it if you were interested in it in the first place.
@invictus4000 not to defend the Nintendo online service, but in this case, all you had to do was go into a normal match and have your cousin join you via the friend option in-game. I did this with my gf (granted we spoke over the phone and not using the app) and it was not complicated at all.
@RodSD64 I was one of them (FIFA 17 just looked really good because I hadn't played one since 09). Honestly, the story mode wasn't all that great, so as long as everything else is present I might as well buy 18 on Switch.
@manu0 Both my sister and I got Switches at launch. We were playing Zelda, Snipperclips, and Shovel Knight with my joy-cons, and mine (left one) kept giving me trouble. I paired my sister's with my console and guess what... problem solved.
I couldn't play anywhere further than 3 ft. with mine, and hers reached all the way to the counter behind the kitchen (12-15 ft. away). Called Nintendo and put a repair order. People aren't making this stuff up.
I don't get the hate for Star Fox Zero. The controls are just fine and for me they work even better than the SF64 ones after one gets used to them. Some people here most likely didn't even try the game out.
@Ichiban Before the original WW was released on Gamecube, Nintendo put out OOT: Master Quest, which included a demo of the new (cel-shaded) game. Notice any similarities?
Double Dash is definitely one of my favorites. I never understood the appeal of MK 64, it felt clunky and uninspired at times (and that awful Toad Turnpike track).
DD felt a lot more tactical because of the special items and new vehicles. Some of the tracks were a lot of fun to play on (Daisy's Cruise, DK Mountain, Waluigi Stadium). I do wish we got more than 16 tracks though.
Oh, yeah, you can actually DODGE red and blue shells. I think this the one game in the series where the item balance was just right.
@Tsurii I feel your pain, I purposely avoided watching the newest movie to avoid spoilers (I'm watching Dragon Ball Super), but I guess it's a matter of time before you find them somewhere.

Re: Poll: Animal Crossing: New Horizons - What Would You Like To See Added In An Update?
@muscpt select all items you want to sell with A before confirming, there’s no need to start a new conversation for each one.

Re: Video: This Project Rap Rabbit Concept Trailer Sets The Scene
I like the concept and I backed the kickstarter when it first came around. I think they are asking for too much money though.
