What these critics fail to realize is that we live in a world where virtually every game now is an open world shooty shooty bang fest with guns. Introducing Yooka-Laylee in the the gaming industry would be like placing a time bomb there as i bet most of these critics don't even know what a collecto-thon puzzle platformer is. Thus the low score. And have you noticed they all refer to Banjo. Sure they games pretty much the successor to it but others have come and gone too.

That's actually quite sad to be fair. Hopefully he gets one in the end.

@SandstormMcD i think it will go to the wire between BOWT and Horizon. Both are fantastic games IMO

@Xaessya you really don't wish you could. It runs really bad and isn't optimized at all for the Switch. The game makes us look like we're using really under powered hard ware

@DarkKirby Thanks Kirby. I did watch the video and it's interesting really. Kinda shows a side to Shiggy i never knew. I know Nintendo like control in the games being made on their systems but wasn't sure Shiggy had that much of a say and how much some say he was a pain to work with.

@Sanicranfast That was when the team was known as DMA. Before they was bought out by Gremlin and then further down the line Take2. You know they used the bases of body Harvest (sandbox) style in GTA3. Back o subject though. I doubt any of the DMA staff are with the Current Rockstar. Though quote me if I'm wrong. I could well be lol.

Only one they left out was the U.

ALSO Take2 Own Rockstar and are listed in the 3rd party support. If Take2 say jump. Rockstar has to say how high? I think with what she has listed is like a dartboard effect. Sure, you may miss sometimes but eventually you will hit something.

@Mart1ndo Not playing the victim. Also about decent consoles. Here's what i own for the record.2DS, Nes, N64, Wii U, PSOne, PS3 PS4 and a fairly high end gaming PC. Reason I wanted the U version is it's my choice of console i like to play on.

£7.99 seems like a fair deal to me. It's funny people moaning about the price are probably the same people that wait outside of an Apple store waiting for the latest £700 phone every year.

If it comes to switch around the same time as the other versions then sure why not. But if it comes out 6 months after all the other versions whats the point as dev will say the switch version didnt sell. Saw this last time with games coming out late

If what Eurogamer are reporting is true. The this is a massive letdown. Seen it a few times in the past when the devs promise this and that only to be told close to the last minute "Haha no U version for you" From what I've seen around 70% of the backers where Wii U owners. Talk about a kick in the neutered area for Wii U gamers. If this don't get a switch release then I'm done with kickstarters.

I don't think the U version will be axed. I think that between that and BOTW. Either game with be a perfect swansong to send the U off.
