It's pointless having HD anway unless the devlopers actually spend the time to make the games look good in the first place. A couple of developers (including Factor 5) have said that the Wii is capable of so much more.

Yeah same here. Both bowling and baseball are very simple games in real life so don't need a massive in depth game. I probably just annoyed fans of both sports but I don't see much about them.
We really need Pro Evolution and a Rugby (Union) game on the Wii then the sports would be complete.

Wii Boxing is probably my favourite of the five, so much more could be done with a proper boxing game.

Nice article. I haven't got any games for the VC yet and probably would have skimmed over the likes of R-Type. Donkey Kong will still be my first purchase though, I don't remember it being shallow but quite hard and fast paced, but maybe that is because of nostalgia.

I think the star pad would be more damaging than the wiimote now. It's a freaking frisbee, I would actually want to throw it into my tv.

I would bid a real amount, unfortunately that amount would be around the £60 mark. Those people who ruined are total losers. Ebay does need to find a way to limit this.

A gimmick, definetaly not. I went to play on my my xbox today after a while of not playing and it seemed foreign to me to use a d-pad and buttons etc. The wii has really changed my way of thinking when it comes to console gaming, and that quickly. A gimmick could not do that.

When I'm hooked back up the internet (with my Wii) I'm definetaly getting this. I've never played it but loved the SNES and GC versions. I still say bring back the original Mario Kart. And £8 is a huge amount!

The Wii game's cover art is the best of all consoles I think. It might be the smooth white cases which makes them look simple and clean. I only wish the green right-angled triangle was't there.

It needs a massive Mario face on them. If I going to go out and buy Nintendo! trainers I would only go the whole way and be proud in my geekware. So half-arsed clothing for me.

A pretty strange control scheme. I thought the wiimote would control most of the turning, you know with it being identical almost to an actual snowboard. Who knows, I guess it works best they way.

When I saw the link earlier I though it was real and did ponder whether I would buy it. The strap on part may be far fetched but a Leisure Suit game could work I guess, although it may test the boundaries of virtual sex and see some warped kids in the future.

Heh an expensive fad. Things like yo-yos and fingerboards are fads, people don't mind spending a couple of quid and then everyone gets one. The Wii is more like a gaming console, oh wait; it is!

I can't wait. I'm still suprised there hasn't been a Wii Mario Kart announced. It is still nice to hear some new Wii news early this year.

Quite a few there I'm interested in. And Blazing Angels is among the top even though it doesn't get much press.

I don't have much experience of sites being broken. The occasional one where they see Opera and reject you but thats not the browsers fault. Its always the web designers fault

Opera is the best browser imo. It's the best choice for Wii especially if it keeps mouse/remote movements.

Today I was bored so I actually tried throwing my remote with the strap on at a cushion. I didn't throw it very hard but it was still an actual throw and it didn't break. How do people break it I still don't understand.

The battery life would worry me if I actually wanted one, 48hr battery life using "extended" batteries. I know in a few days I have played over 48hrs already meaning a battery change. And the stated battery life is never as long as they say; 48hrs would probably it being on but not used. Can't someone just make a cable extension?

Cool. Have do the A/B buttons work I couldn't quite make it out. Hopefully a new Knockout game will come out that works with two gloves

Every game on multiplayer is great. It is most game played atm. Boxing is great with mates, Tennis is cool but I haven't worked out all the aiming just yet, Baseball is good but quite limited, Bowling is good again but it is just bowling (I'm not a massive fan), Golf is really nice, fun to get better at. Overall, awesome.

I like the idea of the wiimote as a snowboard. You can time those jumps perfectly by jolting the mote up. Hopefully the game will bring something new to the genre other than the control scheme.

Wow that does sound exactly like the wii. I thought they would have at least changed it in some way. I can't believe the blatant copying but it does show what they think of the Wii and motion sensing is the future so its good to move forward with all consoles.

I have read so many interpretations of Red Steel it definately is getting confusing. I am still going to get it but am really aprehensive.
Hopefully in a few months my Japanese will be up to scratch to read the magazine that everyone goes on about.

I really hope this does come true. Online emulated games are already possible so it shouldn't be too hard for the giant developer to do the same.

Homebrew software is brilliant. It's great people take the time to do these things.

It could be a faulty strap which hopefully won't occur often. Lets just remember to hold on and dry our hands often. I am still going to wary of letting my non-gamer noob friends touch my peripherals

I don't think the Wii would have been taken seriously if it was $100 or £70. I'm glad they made a better machine even though its more expensive.
