Does the download version of Shadow Wars crash if the online switch is left on? That was really frustrating in the retail version.

For the record, it's not a "Kickstarter campaign" if it's not done through Kickstarter. Do they really think they can generate enough interest running it on their own site?

It has occasionally been changed to point to New Super Mario Bros. or Armadillo, but it never lasts long. That's because Nintendo has never referred to New Super Mario Bros. as Super Mario Bros. 4.

Looks like it's got more options than Game Boy games do. Kudos to Sega for that.

We can't count out Pandora's Tower yet. I wasn't expecting The Last Story to be announced until after Xenoblade releases, and yet here we are. There's still time for Pandora's Tower.

@Lordlz: Just because GBA games run in lame-ass mode now doesn't mean it has to stay that way forever. That's the sort of thing an update should be able to fix.

Not Star Fox either. Star Fox has a special graphics chip in the cartridge, which Nintendo has never bothered to emulate. That's also why Yoshi's Island has never been released on the Wii Virtual Console. If they were going to emulate that chip, they would have done it a long time ago.

It's not that they can't patch it. They can fix it, but people who can't or won't update won't get the fix.

They can't make the update mandatory unless the game supported mandatory updates out of the box. And people who haven't connected their 3DS and only compete locally won't get the update at all.

Excellent. I shall go start downloading some right away. Maybe all, if I have enough free space.

@lz20XX Nope, because it's not a Virtual Console title. VC games are all emulated ROM images, and 3D Classics are built from the ground up for the 3DS.

@Morpheel It's misleading for us folks up here too. I appreciate Nintendo Life's attempts to be inclusive and say "North America", but it doesn't work here. Hulu is only available in the US and Japan.

What use is sending messages via SpotPass and StreetPass? Receiving messages from friends via SpotPass, fine. But sending messages passively? Huh?

@lz20XX As it says in the press release, Nintendo is responsible for sales, marketing and distribution in Europe and Australia. So it seems Nintendo would probably be the one setting the release date in this case.

I've seen both Circle Pads referred to as such. I think they're just using the terminology already in use.

Is it supposed to take months to receive the Pokémon? Because that's how long it's taking for me.

They get a game four months late and another two years late. Two years. It's not dead yet, but it's not in great shape either.

@expa0 It's maddening to think that there are idiots who whine about the difference between an eight and a nine. What's the next score after 8? Here's a hint: it's 9. Both mean the reviewer considers it a great game.

What tables are missing? That could be a deal-breaker depending on what exactly was left out in this version.

Does this update fix the problem where Pokédex 3D no longer receives SpotPass updates at all? Couldn't hurt to find for myself.

People have been complaining here all day about the fact that they're not up in North America yet. Look at any of the comments that have the American flag on them. The videos aren't up yet. Regardless of where you happen to be, changing your region to the US won't do you any good in this case. Maybe try a different region?

@lz20XX "Right now" would have been incorrect for Super Mario Land 2 as well though. The daily update hadn't happened yet at the time this story was published. It seems that that would be the most sensible time to add them, no?
