I grabbed 'You Died' which was superb and my copy of 'Soul Arts' will be here soon enough π I imagine I'll grab the standard version of this too π Tune & Fairweather, the guys responsible for these make absolutely incredible books. The quality is second to none.
Phenomenal game, one of the best this year for me π I've just finished my forth playthrough and seen every ending the game has to offer. Superb characters and a superb story. I was very surprised and happy at just how different the 4 outcomes were! Map variety is also fantastic π
I'm currently playing Gran Turismo 7, Elden Ring and Triangle Strategy. All phenomenal games. Great to see they're doing so well, particularly Triangle! Didn't see that happening but very glad it's selling π
I absolutely adore the game and thoroughly recommend trying out the demo! It's one of the most refreshing and enjoyable gaming experiences I've had this year. It's small but perfectly formed π
I played the Voice of Cards demo through 3 times and loved it! I'm a few hours into the full game and nothing has changed, it's one of the most enjoyable games I've played this year π The music and artwork are utterly sublime. Thoroughly recommended.
Off to London to watch the Final Fantasy VII Remake concert this weekend! π So, that means 10hrs total on the train π But, it's not all bad, gives me loads of time to play some Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate π₯°
It deserves any and all praise this game. It's an absolute masterpiece in every way possible. The world and story are incredibly well handled. The characters are an absolute joy and voiced to perfection. The soundtrack is one of gaming's finest and the gameplay is truly endless. You could sink hundreds (as I have) or even thousands of hours and still have fun things to try. I could talk about this game forever. Its one of my favourite games of all time and if you let Fodlan and it's occupants into your heart, it'll be one of yours too π
I've been looking forward to this for a while. Fired it up day one on my Xbox (thanks Gamepass), played for a few hours and deleted it. The game is good, it really is, but I just didn't enjoy it at all. Shame.
@BenAV Cheers for that. I'm experiencing a similar thing. I played the demo to death. Made everything, maxed everything etc. I had planned to continue that way of playing for the whole game but I now find myself just cracking on with the story π
I played hundreds of hours of the original, loved it π I played about 80 hours of Splatoon 2. Maybe I was burnt out from the original but I just didn't enjoy it as much π€ Anyhoo, I'll most certainly be picking this up regardless π
Top Gear Rally on the N64. I was heavily into skateboarding at the time and found a bit of level that I could use as a quarter pipe. I'd drive up at different angles and slide/grind along the top before dropping back in! The game was complete pants but I sessioned that ramp for HOURS π I did a similar thing down the handrail of Peaches Castle in Mario64. Flip to crooked tummy slide, flip out π
@CartuneCartune Personally I loved it! The characters were great and I enjoyed the story. Gameplay is very similar to Chrono Trigger and is fantastic fun. The snowy setting may not be to everyone's taste but a snowy biome is my all time fave. I've saved the best for last, the soundtrack 'Winters End' is one of my all time favourites, its absolutely beautiful Thoroughly recommended in my opinion.
Banjo and Byleth are a must. Banjo because I'm an OG Nintendo fan and Byleth because quite simply, Three Houses is one of the best games I've ever played π

Well I absolutely loved the demo and have about 20hrs on it over multiple playthroughs π I was one of those who gave feedback and think it's a truly fantastic thing for developers to do! Roll on February, the game looks great π
