This is frankly the best news I've heard about Goodboy Galaxy in years. I'd already long since given up hope of ever actually getting a physical edition of this game.
When I went to university I let my little brother keep all my consoles because I'm a nice guy like that. He clearly loved the Xbox 360, but when I came back for Christmas I found the Wii in a heap on his floor, where his pet ferrets loved to, ahem, mark their territory.
So you can be sure I took the wee Wii, cleaned it, brought it with me back to uni, and my brother never saw it again. His loss.
I still remember when Sonic Colours put the first level before the opening cutscene, and how refreshing that was the first time I played.
"Oh, what? The actions started already? Brilliant!"
On the other hand, Frontiers I felt did a great job of teaching me to roleplay as Sonic because I just wanted all the talking to end so I could run around and do stuff.
Thank you very much for this review! I would really appreciate more homebrew Game Boy reviews, as there's an increasing number of them and it's often hard to tell which of the paid ones are well-made and worth spending money to play.
The price of the set wouldn't be an issue if there were other, smaller sets. I'd be happy with just a small build that has the minifigures, but this feels cruel in how it forces fans to either spend more money than they want, or miss out entirely
I don't actually mind whether a boss fight has a mandatory design or not, as long as it's a natural continuation of the skills the game has been testing up until that point.
Any design approach is fine so long as it doesn't feel like a complete departure from the rest of the game.
Getting an artist to draw a bunch of different Toad body type concepts only to throw them all in the bin and copypaste the same design from the past 20+ years is peak Miyamoto project management.
Nothing ruins a hobby quite like having to do it all day every day. As much fun as this job might sound for the first two hours, something tells me anyone working this job will be completely sick of Pokémon cards after a few weeks...

Re: Croc Remaster Will Miss Its December 2024 Launch Window
I've been a bit suspicious of this remake, the fact that it's being delayed rather than rushed out for a holiday release is comforting.

Re: Surprise! New Splatoon 3 amiibo Are On The Way
For her birthday my daughter asked everyone in the family for a total of well over £100 of Splatoon amiibo. I thought we were done 😭

Re: Random: New Pokémon Ad Positions 3DS As 'Retro', And The Internet Disagrees
The Game Boy Pocket came out in 1996, 14 years before 2010.
The 3DS came out in 2010, 14 years before 2024.
So, yeah, this tracks.
Re: Random: Splatoon 3 Hanko Stamps Are A Thing, Because Why Not
Just when I thought I was done bankrupting myself importing Splatoon stuff from Japan...

@MS7000 He's really looks the part! Even if the scene is clearly made up as Yamauchi never actually played the games.
