Well maybe if Iwata has seen the light regarding Internet connectivity, maybe the next generation DS/Wii will have a better online infrastructure. And hopefully it'll work better than WiiConnect24.
I played this game first, then the GBA/SNES version. I thought it was very good but after playing the first one it's apparent that they tried to put way too much stuff in the game. I'd like to see Yoshi's Island DS 2 with just Baby Mario and none of the others.
Great update, but definitely not buying Arkanoid because Taito burned me twice with their Bubble Bobble releases when it launched in the US for 600 instead of 800 points.
Well, they're not working under Nintendo anymore and we still don't know what they're working on, except for some vague statement at E3 about Natal projects. Besides, they haven't made any worthwhile stuff in years so who cares about Rare anymore.
Looks just like the WiiWare version, but with the stylus it must be much easier to burst bubbles than with the aiming of the Wii remote. Anyway, looking forward to it!
Widescreen isn't really an oversight, it's just that most developers want to keep their platform games 4:3, that way it's more challenging because you can't see all the enemies coming. Nintendo did the same with Wario Land Shake.
It's a pretty good launch line-up if you ask me. I'll definitely get Dr. Mario and WarioWare, and maybe one of the Art Style games, but I'll need to see a bit more of them.
So I haven't played online yet, just the single player on easy and normal, and although I enjoy it, I would give it a 5 or 6 at best. I know I shouldn't expect much from a WiiWare FPS but this could have been a whole lot better if you were able to run and the characters would've actually looked scary. The music kinda reminded me of Duke Nukem 3D, so I guess that's kind of a plus. But while it just feels a bit too repetitive, I do really like the effort Hudson is putting into WiiWare!
Well hopefully this means something new from them. But then again, maybe they're taking a page from Nintendo's big marketing book and keep advertising the same game over and over again.
I personally would have picked Rotohex as the most playable because its so easy to pick up and play for a short amount of time. But I haven't tried Orbient yet though.
Just bought Metal Slug 2 and I must say while it looks really good it just suffers from way too much slowdown the moment two or more enemies show up, I'm really disappointed because I really enjoyed playing Metal Slug 1
Gameloft puts out some pretty good (not great) games on WiiWare. The mobile version of this one wasn't bad, however the DS version sucks, so we'll see how this one will turn out.

Re: Kirby's Epic Yarn Unravels to 2011 in Europe
NoE hates Kirby, PAL regions always get Kirby games last
Re: High Court Outlaws Flash Carts in UK
even though it's already too late for the DS, this is still great news for Nintendo and future 3DS flash carts
Re: Nintendo Download: 30th July 2010 (Europe)
Crap all around, bring on some more Art Style Nintendo!
Re: EA Boss Lavishes 3DS with Praise
I agree with this 3DS is cool attitude!
Re: Hey Everyone, Get Your Dragon Quest IX On This July
So they're choosing to number this release in Europe too. That's a good decision I think.
Re: BIT.TRIP RUNNER Gameplay Trailer
Wow looks nice, and fast! And the song playing during the credits sequence of the video is totally awesome too!
Re: Yet Another Sonic Collection Inbound - This Time For DS
It'll be nice to finally play these games on the DS (legally)!

Re: Nintendo Announces Wii Line-Up For THE WORLD
Relax guys, Kirby Wii has been on the release list for years now and it'll probably stay right there a while longer.
Re: Rayman Getting A DSiWare Game
Please be a remake of the original 2D Rayman game!

Re: Nintendo Download: Pilotwings, Mario vs. Donkey Kong, Pop Plus, Arkanoid and Bit.Trip (EU)
Great update, but definitely not buying Arkanoid because Taito burned me twice with their Bubble Bobble releases when it launched in the US for 600 instead of 800 points.
Re: Review: Shanghai Wii (Wii)
Would do pretty good out here on WiiWare I suppose, if it ever comes here.
Re: Punch-Out!! Gets Date Down Under
It's pretty crazy that people actually have to DEMAND Nintendo to release some software for their own console!
Re: Review: New Play Control! Pikmin 2 (Wii)
Pikmin 1 "didn’t fully justify the full-price release"? All NPC releases are just €30!
Re: Review: Grand Slam Tennis (Wii)
Scoring VT higher than GST just doesn't make any sense.
Re: Review: Virtua Tennis 2009 (Wii)
"You’d be extremely hard-pressed to find a more complete tennis package on Wii"
After playing both tennis games I'd say it's not that hard.
Re: Nintendo Crafts Extravaganza!
That tanooki keychain looks pretty scary!
Re: Molyneux: Nintendo Made Rare Too Secretive
Well, they're not working under Nintendo anymore and we still don't know what they're working on, except for some vague statement at E3 about Natal projects. Besides, they haven't made any worthwhile stuff in years so who cares about Rare anymore.
Re: Street Fighter II's Bonus Stage: Live Action Spectacular
I'd be scared to death if I saw that guy coming at me in the parking lot
Re: Capcom Looking To Port More Games To Wii?
Ground up or bust. Just make another RE game with the RE4 Wii engine.
Re: Hands-On Report: Virtua Tennis 2009
Nice report! But it's a bit weird that they decided not to make the controls 1:1 as this is the main selling point of MotionPlus!
Re: First Look - Pop Plus: Solo
Looks just like the WiiWare version, but with the stylus it must be much easier to burst bubbles than with the aiming of the Wii remote. Anyway, looking forward to it!

Re: Nintendo DSi – Deconstructed
Very nice. Definitely deserves that "awesome" tag!
Re: WiiWare Versions of Bubble Bobble and Rainbow Islands Coming to Europe Soon
Nice, I was wondering when these would come over as I was playing Bubble Bobble DS
Re: Review: WarioWare: Snapped! (DSiWare)
I like Snapped, and even though it's short, a 4 is way to harsh IMHO.
Re: Two New Swords & Soldiers Gameplay Videos!
This looks pretty hard, but then again, I've never seen any game like this in 2D before!
Re: DSiWare: Pre-release Roundup
It's a pretty good launch line-up if you ask me. I'll definitely get Dr. Mario and WarioWare, and maybe one of the Art Style games, but I'll need to see a bit more of them.
Re: Diatomic: Microscopic Arcade Action Madness
YAY DUTCH!

Re: More Info and Screenshots for Bubble Bobble Wii
The characters and enemies look kinda weird, but maybe it's the compression of the image or something?
Re: Bubble Bobble Wii - Now With 4 Player Support
@Chicken Brutus: Well I wouldn't mind SNES quality graphics, I just want bigger screenshots
Re: Bubble Bobble Wii - Now With 4 Player Support
Wishing we had some better screenshots, it could be a game with SNES visuals for all we know, they're so small!
Re: Two Tribes Opens Toki Tori Blog And Releases New Videos
Well hopefully this means something new from them. But then again, maybe they're taking a page from Nintendo's big marketing book and keep advertising the same game over and over again.
Re: Bit.Trip Beat To Bring Classic Arcade Gameplay To WiiWare
Seems interesting. I wonder if they thought of this concept before or after the Art Style series?
Re: Semnat Studios Announces Eduardo the Samurai Toaster
Looking forward to this! I've been waiting for someone to make a samurai toaster game for YEARS!
Re: WiiWare World - Best of 2008
I personally would have picked Rotohex as the most playable because its so easy to pick up and play for a short amount of time. But I haven't tried Orbient yet though.
Re: Luc Bernard Talks About Upcoming WiiWare Projects
Well the art looks really good! I hope we get to see the retooled Eternity's Child soon on WiiWare.
Re: Nintendo To Launch Wii Video Service Next Year
Why limit it to just Japan (again...)?
Re: Mana From Heaven For RPG Fans On Boxing Day In Europe
Saw the original cart in my local shop for €70, nice to know it'll be available for a mere 800 Wii Points
Re: EU VC Update: Metal Slug 2, Forgotten Worlds and Space Invaders
Just bought Metal Slug 2 and I must say while it looks really good it just suffers from way too much slowdown the moment two or more enemies show up, I'm really disappointed because I really enjoyed playing Metal Slug 1
