The guys at Ronimo Games were kind enough to send over two brand new gameplay videos of their upcoming WiiWare title Swords & Soldiers in action.
The first video is a gameplay video of the game's Campaign Mode and gives a good indication of exactly how the game will be played. The second video is a gameplay video of the game's Multiplayer Mode and shows off the split-screen format it makes use of.
The more video footage of the game we see, the more excited we get for this amazing-looking WiiWare title. Let's just hope the grueling wait won't be too much longer.
As usual, we'll have more information on Swords & Soldiers as it becomes available, as well as a full review of the game once it hits the WiiWare service.

I want this game! NOW!
Reminds me of King Arthurs World on SNES. I want this!
Please come monday.... PLEASE!
IGN recently said it should be out in a few weeks. I very much hope that is true, though it will be sad not to know what to look forward to anymore; well, other than Cave Story.
This looks amazing! How many points........? I'm getting this as soon as it comes out. Well, that is after someone reviews it and hopefully gives it a couple of thumbs up.
Wow this looks so awesome. Is it local only or is there online perchance? That would put it, like, above eating and sleeping for me.
This looks pretty hard, but then again, I've never seen any game like this in 2D before!
i can't wait for the game it should be out soon wow to the web page the 3rd team is the space marine but it maybe a april fools joke
This game looks great, can't get released soon enough!

@Egg miester
It is an April Fools joke, unfortunately.
Wow, I want this game SO much now. * crosses fingers for Monday *
I need this SO badly. If this comes out Monday......
@Corbie: Now with the Retro section (which I still dont get what it does ), are you still making Retro Rated?
The retro section will cover all things classic Nintendo. That means everything from the NES to the Gamecube. Who knows, we might even got back to the classic Nintendo arcade games and the Game & Watch line of LED games.
As for Retro Rated, that's one that might take some time to put together. Especially considering that we've taken on this new site fusion. It will come, we just don't know when. Right now I'm putting every free second of my time into Nintendo Life.
So Awesome! I can't wait!!
@Corbie: Alright, but what makes you put something under Retro and not Virtual Console?
First off, no thanks; I suck at RTS, but this has potential.
Second: Retro could be anything retro while the VC is anything related to VC such as upcoming releases and any reviews of games from the services.
@ Bahamut ZERO - It's quite simple. If it's also available on the VC, it goes in both Retro and VC. If it's not available on the VC, it only goes into the Retro section.
You know, for all the secrecy about the third faction the shuriken in the logo seems a bit... um... careless.
Anyway, the videos looked nice but pretty confusing...
Hammer Time? Lolz... very tempted, but I don't do much RTS. Probs wait for the review...
Can't wait for this! Multiplayer is gonna be a blast!
Oh man, I LOVED King Arthur's World for the SNES too.
That game was the money.
This is exciting.
I'm with Mayhem, not a big RTS fan. However, I think this one looks to be a must-have. I need all the good multiplayer games I can get my hands on. I love how the ground shakes during battle, nice touch. And the dwarve/viking dudes are funny hehe.
@KDR_11k: Dude, you're right! The image up top in the article shows bullet holes instead, but the videos show the logo with the ninja stars!
Sweet videos. I can't wait for it to come out!
Looks very good, but I am one of the minority that won't be getting it I think
