@Jaxonh @unrandomsam I assumed, as my friend bought the Zelda Windwaker Bundle and didn't get a physical copy of that. But cool beans if its' otherwise for MK8 Bundles

One thing about me buying the MK8 Wii bundle is i won't have a physical copy of the game. It's a tradition i love to own physical copies. I may end up just buying a promotional box just to have something on my shelf. Sad i know.

@Jazzer94 Yep a lot of Nintendo lovers are old school in our approach to buying games. I too like to look over at my shelf and see game cases.However i don't think we have a choice that it will go down the download route only soon.

The game controls fine. Its just newer / younger gamers are used to the post Double Dash era of controls. Which in their own right are perfectly controlled too. SNES MK is brutal for beginners, but the fact you'll smile with glee everytime you get a red shell is worth it.

I was at GEEK 2014 and remember them announcing a new world record had been broken.

@brewsky Yeh 150cc on the original MK is harder than any version since. Its brutally hard to finish in the top 4 of every race in Special Cup.

Remember renting this on the snes when it came out. Could barely get anywhere in the two nights i had it. Played it to death when the GBA port came out, now own it on my 3DS so probably won't bother with the big screen experience again. But a unique Top top game.

Just as i've pre-ordered a Wii U, the thing may become past-gen. Hmmm

Just given in everybody. £199.00 was too good to resist. Expected delivery May 31st. But now i must spend this month being a hermit and staying in and not spending.

Yep, this is the bundle i am pre-ordering. A bargain i cannot miss and the two top titles will keep me busy enough not to need to buy another title for a while. Itsmy 30th birthday in 3 weeks. I deserve to treat myself.

@Excep7ional It is a very unique experience. There is no show like it in the world. It's definately worth trying to go one year. There is soo much going on in the city all week long. It took over Miami

I'm tempted to give m GBA SP a paint job. I did to my Snes many years ago. Should probably share that online

@Excep7ional It's got the potential to be great. But you never know. My friends have flown over from the UK to New Orleans for it. I went two years ago, it was amazing.

Very sad, I had FPW on the GBA and it was a lot better than any of the WWF/WWE games released on the handheld. It had rosters for soo many companies. RIP. Hope everyone enjoys Wrestlemania this weekend.

The GBA games on the big screen is quite a selling point to me in finally buying a Wii U. The gameboy player on the Gamecube was awesome and very overlooked in my opinion.

I do hate EA own one of my fave franchises these days in Command & Conquer

To all Wii - Wii U owners. When transferring data over to the Wii U, Can i transfer all my Wii VC games over to a Wii U, even if they are not on the Wii U VC yet. Like my copy of DKC3

@Artwark 2013 marked the 30th anniversary of Mario Bros. Luigi's first appearance. So 2015 being the 30th anniversary of Super Mario Bros. We could see the year of Bowser, or Princess, Or Toad.

Will definately purchase this when it's released. As a fellow filmmaker and retro gamer this is the type of film i'd like to do myself.

MK Wii is still hugely popular online. Never had trouble finding racers to race against. Although i play MK7 on 3DS way more now. MK8 will be a selling point in me finally getting a Wii U

I could see myself probably enjoying this so cannot lose by trying the free version. But it'll have to wait til the weekend is over as I'm off to GEEk 2014 in Margate. Hopefully pick up a few spot passes whilst i'm there.

You can pick up a 2DS with PKMN X or Y for £99 in Sainsburys. That's a pretty awesome deal.

Wow, This snowballed, into a youtube comments style war of words. The truth is the Wii U is struggling, and a lot of people are giving up on it. Stores, Developers and even former Nintendo fanboys. You cannot really blame some of them either. We have been loyal for a very long time and Nintendo have made some major mistakes with this console. They are trying to rectify them, but so far to no real avail. Saying that, there are SOME good games on the console. But will that be enough to keep the Wii U propular over the net year or so. We will see. The future isn't looking great but Nintendo won't give up on a console that easily.

Downloaded today. Instant throwback to buying my gameboy color in '99. Taking it into science class and playing it in class (Hid it behind the big power point towers on our desks. Pokemon Blue, SMBD and All Star Baseball were regular school fillers.

I'd pick this up if it's reasonably priced. Looks fun

@xkaj0x That is normal though, especially if a system hasn't been selling well. You have to suck up the fact you payed full wack for the system. Nobody made you buy it on release.

The Wii U price isn't an issue. Shop around and pick it up for £200, Or £250-£270 for impressive bundle deals. I'm currently flogging collectable GBA games on ebay to help fund my Wii U purchase.

Tempted by this, also tempted to dust off the original that i still have on the snes, but easy access on the 3DS ambassador programme. Just always found the snes versions sound was better

When that EA SPORTS, ITS IN THE GAME intro came onto my snes. I thought they were the coolest guys ever. Now they're just arrogant suckers who apart from FIFA, make below par sports sims and action games i care nothing for.

Double Dash is till the king. But MK7 is great. I'm off to GEEK2014 in Margate next month to take part in the MK snes championships. Better get some practice in on the old grey box.

The truth is. This price point means i will be purchasing a Wii U this week. Which is good news for Nintendo.

It will be hard to top 2013's list of AAA titles, but i am optimistic for another great year for the 3DS in 2014 and beyond

The 3DS has set its own bar now. Its got a solid 3-4 more years of support and major titles to be released no question. The Wii U needs to continue its strong end to 2013. But we're running out of Nintendo franchises to release games on. A new Mario platformer anytime soon will over-saturate things. A new Zelda is what needs to be worked on, the MK8 and DKC's of the world will bide time.
