Most people that buy physical games still use GameStop/ebgames as far as I'm concerned, so if they're losing money, it's because of blatant mismanagement at the top.

I had to read the first bit again. Dialed in is a positive connotation in Canada. Phoning it in is bad. So I had to do a double take. Haha.

@mesome713 I just bought it the other day at full price. Still worth it. You get black flag. Freedom cry. Aveline. Rogue and all its dlc as well. If it sells well they may bring assassin's Creed 5 to the switch.

@sanderev thanks for the info. I don't think i'd be a fan of cloud gaming, simply because I love owning physical copies of my games. And my internet sucks.

Those graphics look like the conduit on Wii. The switch can do more than that.... Please out some effort in.

It's all about price for me. If they release a "pro" model, they are outright saying the original tech is now dated. So when it launches it should be at the same price point as the original launched at, and the original should lower in price by 50-75 dollars.

I'd love to play grand theft horse on the switch.

@QueenKittenWrite I hope not, or I for one will just stop playing games. I like having the physical media. It gives me the ability to collect or sell the game when I'm done with it.

@Zidentia I've also gotten around 25 hrs between charges playing botw. I use a fast charger, so it only takes about an hour and 15 minutes to charge it back up. Can also play while charging.

The only complaint I have is it won't turn the console on. Need to use my joy con to do that and then switch to this controller.

@Zidentia very comfortable. I have bigger hands then most though, being 6'3". But I will say the sticks are a little bit taller than the pro controller. About 1/8" of an inch. I don't notice it, but others may.

I hope Retro is able to show something soon. And I know these games take a long time and a lot of resources, but ...... I'm getting antsy haha.

I found a wireless controller on Amazon for $29 CAD. Haven't had any issues with it yet. AND it has motion controls and rumble. Not HD rumble though.

Cheaper than most and reliable so far.

@UmbreonsPapa I really hope this is a NA sale too. I had Zelda and Skyrim in physical form (paid full price for both), but then in February my house burned down and we lost everything, I clouding my switch and all of the games. Nintendo of Canada replaced my switch with a refurbished one, but not any of the games, so I'm hoping I can finally afford to replace them (even though they'd be digital).

Why won't they just put the whole game on the card? A 10 GB patch is not a patch. You're downloading 2/3 + of the game.... So if I go and buy the game, it will take me off er 24 hrs to download it and play it.

@ScottishJR I'm not sure the WiiU inspired the wikipad. WiiU was 2012. Wikipad was supposed to launch in 2011. Which means both were in development for a while. So who knows who inspired who.

Just remember people, if you buy a physical copy of the game, the points expire a year after the game launched. So if you're like me and were a late adopter of the switch , and buy Mario Odyssey, breath of the wild and Mario Kart in physical form, you get no gold points. None.

I think it's probably project hammer. But I'm hoping it's that dragon game from retro that was supposed to come out on the GameCube, I believe.

I don't care about a switch mini. I want a switch XL. The current hardware is incredibly hard to use for me. Especially in portable mode with the joycons on the screen. They're just so tiny. I cannot contort my hands in a way to get to the buttons, so I find myself letting go of the console with one hand to press the appropriate button.

Fyi, I'm a 6'3" Canadian. So yes, I know my hands are bigger than most. But I would argue even an American's hands above 5'9" would have trouble using the joy cons properly.

@RedMageLanakyn the switch has 4gb of ram. And when not docked it runs at 70 percent total power right? So that's around 2.8 GB. The PS3 had 512mb (when developers knew what they were doing). Nevermind the GPU and processor speed variations. The switch trounces the PS3. I can't believe I'm even having to explain this. How is that even a thought you had? You troll.

Nintendo should fire Kensuke Tanabe. He caused the fallout between retro and himself, and has now cost Nintendo hundreds of thousands of not millions. And now, the game is going back to retro anyway.
He decided to make the game without retro because of his tantrum and believed he was the reason the series was so good. Turns out it wasn't him at all.

I bet the people at retro are excited to say " I told you so"
