The game looks great and fulfills a lifelong dream of being able to actually physically maneuver Pokemon in combat. If marketed right I can see many of the young and young at heart, picking this up.
Of course they'd better expand the roster. Would like to see Mewtwo and others show up, but I'm already committed to a day one purchase for this.
I'm getting it without the intention of making any levels at all. I'm sure I will eventually, but the initial 100 levels + the infinite amount of levels online make this a must buy for me.
A pretty Fresh map. Loving the variety we have now.
I'm actually enjoying /not/ being able to choose my maps. Forces me to pick a weapon I think I can work with on more than one stage, and contributes to the feel that every match feels fresh. I think it's good that players are forced to adapt to this instead of getting into a comfort zone.
I think the process in general can be refined, but I'm pretty satisfied with this first game. I'll look forward to the inevitable sequel, though I'm sure that won't be for quite some time.
Yeah, the person just zoomed in on a blurred out shot of Japanese text. Had nothing to do with anything the video was saying from what I could make out. The text was actually about childhood stuff, like wanting to write manga in middle school (from what I can make out, the kanji is a bit too blurry for me).
Here's hoping you guys can get someone who speaks/reads Japanese on staff someday~
The updates are part of the fun for me. Each time we get a new update the game feels a little bit more fresh.
I'd get the game now before they all stop. Heck with all this on-disk content imagine if they've been crafting actual downloadable content while holding us over with these updates?
I wasn't expecting it to be on par with the ps4 either in power.
If they wanna keep their system affordable I don't see why they would. In fact if it doesn't support a game pad then it might still come in at $250 or so.
However Im concerned that third parties might not like working with specs that isn't close enough to the latest out there.

Re: Feature: A Pokémon Retrospective: Generation 1 - 1996 to 1999
Wow, Hey You Pikachu never made it to the UK?
I feel sorry for you folk. Might have been the first video game to make me cry as a kid with that ending.
Japan not getting Pokemon Puzzle League though is a true shocker. I also loved it.
Ah the days of bygone youth~

Re: Pokémon Brawler Pokkén Tournament Coming To Wii U Early Next Year
Freaking yes finally. Wanted this game for a long time. Glad it's finally coming to Wii U.
>>wanting this game on a system with no release date.
I understand wanting it on the NX but there's zero reason for a game in development for this long to not come on the Wii U first.
Re: Video: PBS Game/Show Gets Into Questions of Ecology for Pokémon's Growing Pokédex
People complain about the newer ones being uninspired but that's just silly. We've had blobs and spheres and nonsense since the beginning.
I don't mind new monsters but I agree that they don't need to pump out hundreds at a time.
Re: A Resident Evil 2 Remake Has Been Confirmed
I don't know what to think about this game,
But that shirt tho~
Re: Mewtwo Still Looks Just As Fearsome As A Packaged amiibo
@BluStreak my thoughts exactly.
Down with the exclusive marketing!

@Sakuraichu
Sounds like we have our next Splatfest question!
Who will win? The kids or the Squids?

Re: Don't Worry Colour-Blind Gamers, Splatoon Has Got Your Back
I'm 100% colorblind so this is welcome news. That's one more customer for splatoon. Thanks Nintendo.
