Amazon France was cheaper during Switch 1 too, with a good deal of First Party titles costing between €40 and €50. It's where I went to for games that weren't stocked locally here in Ireland. Apart from the blurb on the back of the box (and in some cases the game title), it boots up in English and had no problem redeeming DLC

Odyssey sold 2 Million world wide after 3 days so we'll find out at the Financial Briefing if it topped that

Makes sense to bring it in to give subscription numbers a boost ahead of their fiscal year report at the end of March. Hopefully that means it's on the horizon

Nintendo and Sega have a good relationship so I think it will come to Switch. This has been pointed out before so its not a new theory but I think Nintendo intentionally hold off on announcing releases unless they are in control of it (either via Directs or on their Twitter/Youtube)

The fact that they're extending these consoles into 2018 makes me worry about the Switch Virtual Console. And I doubt it will get any mention in Wednesday's Direct but I hope I'm proven wrong

Pre-ordered them individually through Amazon Japan but would much prefer if they appeared on a European one. Dont think they'd be stocked locally in Ireland

Id take these numbers with a grain of salt. On Page 9 of the report you see that when asked "Which of these video game systems, if any, have you heard of", 9% of those polled who referred to themselves as gamers hadnt heard of any of the current gen consoles. How a gamer hasnt heard of the PS4 or Xbox One is baffling to me

This along with Rez Infinite almost got me to get PSVR but stock shortages at release along with lackluster software support over the last few months has put me off so I look forward to getting it on Switch

This is one of those multi-platform games that seems right at home on Nintendo. Launch month isnt looking too bad now between this, Zelda, Issac, I Am Setsuna, Snipperclips, Shovel Knight and Has Been Heroes

I have zero problems with this. I bought a couple of characters for Smash and both packs with Mario Kart and they made a great game even better. How cool would it be if the "New Original Story" teased in the Winter Pack turned out to be a Zelda mode

Switch launch, Fire Emblem Heroes and Super Mario Run. March is going to be a good month for Nintendo going into their shareholder meeting. I can see FE going to iOS before end of March too just to bump up the share price

My cousin text me this morning saying he caught a 200CP Rattata and the screen went purple and it said he registered Ditto to his Pokedex. Going to see for myself if I can catch one. I play with the sound off to save battery though so Im not sure if theres a sound cue or if his call is different

I dont see the connection but at the same time Ubisoft were one of the only 3rd party devs who stuck with them through the Wii U's life cycle so its no real shock they'd get a launch game. Giving them a Mario RPG tie in (or whatever the game ends up being) seems to me like Nintendo's way of thanking them for their continued support through the last couple of generations

I was never an online multiplayer kinda person so I never bought Splatoon when it came out. If its the only way of getting a Switch with more storage I might give it a shot. Seems strange that they'd choose Splatoon over Mario as the launch bundle considering they want everyone to buy in early, not just people like us. Still rumours obviously but Laura and her team have gotten a lot right in the last couple months

I hope any remaining stock already in stores get a discount to unload them over the Christmas period. Im not on it every day but I still enjoy booting mine up every couple of weeks when people come over to play Smash, Mario Kart or Mario Bros U and 3D Land. Best co-op experiences this generation for me at least

Hopefully that's the price model throughout Europe. Ambassador bundle was €200 so if the XL model comes to that Ill be glad I held off

I got the email but Im reluctant. Its €200 but I dont know if I want to go from an XL to a standard size. Might just hold off til the New XL gets released here. Anybody got any ideas what the New XL will cost? If its not that big a jump I might wait til then
