11/12. Only missed the Indie World question because I haven’t watched it yet…

Shame there was nothing from the European directs. Satoru Shibata didn’t have as many funny skits as Reggie and Bill but the Yo-Kai Watch dance was hilarious. The directs with Shibata and Iwata were great as well, I seem to remember they used to joke about both being named Satoru.

@FishyS Is the translation completely fixed or are there still some funny lines? I was meaning to check the game out but I seem to remember you needed to create an account and I couldn’t be bothered to.

@Olliemar28 Not sure if you’ve seen this as I haven’t seen an article but eFootball Kick Off got a pretty big update just before FC launched which added a leagues mode to the game, which could be a good idea to let people know about.

This happened to me on Android, but luckily I was able to get rid of the bar at the bottom of the screen.

@Late I think it was released on Wednesday or Thursday, so you might have to go back through the history or news sections. Make sure you bookmark it if you want to keep it though!

Both look nice, but I agree with everyone that says the NA box art looks like it could be for any game of the genre, so I picked Europe/Japan.

Surprised NA is in the lead, not sure if its just the quality of the image but the DK looks like he’s got weird lines all over him, makes the overall box art look very poor quality to me.

I loved Splatoon 2 and after getting Splatoon 3, it didn’t feel quite the same for some reason. I don’t know why, but I seemed to be significantly worse at 3 compared to 2 and I would go on pretty long losing streaks which burned me out much more quickly.

Also, it sounds pretty stupid but the lack of Squid Beatz 3 was a pretty big loss for me; in Splatoon 2 if I got bored with the online, I would try and get a couple of silver or gold medals in Squid Beatz and then jump back into the online, whereas Splatoon 3 didn’t have that. I will say the single-player in 3 is much better than 2 though.

Finally! I can get the Super Mario RPG theme, the only one I missed.

I know it would probably be harder to get working, but if this VR rhythm game can work on the Switch, can we have Beat Saber as well?

@Peteykins @Zeeba It would be literally impossible for Lego to continue to produce every set that they’ve ever made and never retire them. If new sets are going to be made, older ones need to be retired.

@Mana_Knight To be fair, as shown by this week’s charts, Playstation games don’t have much of a presence in the top 10 anyway.

@idkmyname I could be wrong but an Evercade game at Number 14 is probably more a sign that there are very few other physical games being sold rather than the Evercade game being very successful.

That version was delisted in January and I found one article (https://www.smashjump.com/news/wbsc-ebaseball-power-pros-closes-down-for-a-new-2-0-release/) saying that a new version is coming out but its probably just going to be more of the same since they just mention focusing on esports.

@Shaw_Brothers I’m assuming most people bought Forza digitally, looking at the player numbers on Steam I’d be surprised if Batman beat Forza overall.

I remember I found a way to access the Nintendo website through the Mario Odyssey snapshot competition news stories. I think this was before YouTube launched so it was pretty weird to watch trailers for random old games on the Switch! Unfortunately I forgot to bookmark the news stories and I’m pretty sure they’ve been deleted now.

Was going well until I got the last 4 in a row wrong.

@metaphysician Horizon Chase is actually a spiritual successor to the Top Gear series, not OutRun, it even features the same composer!

I really enjoyed the single player mode of Splatoon 3, despite feeling like I was significantly worse in the multiplayer compared to Splatoon 2 somehow, this looks fun!

@TiMMay333 Mario Tennis and Crimson Desert should also be ahead of Smash Ultimate judging by the figures.

The longest game title of the year award seems its going to have a lot of nominees this year!

@romanista Tomodachi Life was added in early February, the Tomodachi Collection OST has been there right from the start iirc.

@Dev-N I don’t remember it much myself, but watching Poofesure’s playthrough, there seemed to be a pretty wide variety of farts!

@Fighting_Game_Loser Even the later prints of the Lego games were just download codes.

@Yosher It would be better to have more shops in general. I know a lot of the things in NH are more convenient, but I preferred going to Shampoodle to get a haircut or going to the Dream Suite to visit dream towns rather than just using the basic mirror and bed items. I might be in the minority but the focus on streamlining everything took away a lot of what makes Animal Crossing such a charming game. (Plus it was a crime that Club Lol and the island minigames weren’t brought back!)

@WhiteTrashGuy Not 100% sure but you might be able to if you change the system language from US to UK English, but you would either have to change it every time or leave your Switch on UK English.
