I'd have to learn more about the 3DS version compared to the others before I made a decision.

@TheDreamingHawk Ouch. That hurts. I really like the Prime series. Have you only played the Game Cube style? If so, the Wii control scheme makes it an amazing experience.

If they made a Metroid game, what kind of gameplay would it have; classic, first person, or Other M style? It makes me wonder.

I think it has a good shot. Who knows whats around the corner for Wii U next year?

I know this sounds cliche', but one of the first video games I played was A Link to the Past. I was new to gaming, and I was amazed by the story and adventure. One of my favorite memories I have of that game was one time when I was just wandering around. I happened upon a tuft of grass which I promptly sliced to smitereens. I was shocked when I found a secret cave under the grass! I hopped down and found a fairy fountain. I guess his cave spelunking childhood memory became mine too. Thanks Mr. Miyamoto.

I would be insane not to download this demo. Two days until launch!!

If I had a coin for everyone Wii U pre-ordered from GameStop, I'd be a NSMB2 king! Yes, I have pre-ordered my Wii U. The downside is that it is being shipped to me so it probably won't arrive on Sunday. T.T

You can be sure that I will test how far away I can get with the GamePad as soon as I get my Wii U. If I can use it from my room, I will be very happy.

This sounds like it will be excellent. I can't wait ot give this challenge mode a go.

My brother really liked the 3DS version so this will be a Wii U eShop game that I will likely get.

Of course I would love Pokemon on my smartphone...if I had one.

@The_Fox I see what you're saying about him being only rejected twice. But then again, Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo were the big gaming companies at that time, with Microsoft and Sony being the biggest. Being rejected by them would have been very damaging. Nintendo was Mr. Quinn's last chance at getting motion controls into a big gaming company, unless the others reconsidered.

While the idea of using only the GamePad and Wii Remotes is interesting, I find the premise of the game...disturbing. I must say though, that was one of the strangest and most disjointed adds I have ever seen.

The best way to stop pirating is to not support it. Just think about it, if you buy a pirated game, you are stealing. It doesn't matter if it's cheaper, it's stealing. This guy being caught could push some potential piraters away.

Nothing for me this week. Low on funds and waiting for the Wii U. Might pick up the Epic Mickey demo though.

This sounds almost like part of a movie. The guy comes up with a great new idea, but every place he goes rejects him. Finally, when all seems lost, the last place he can go accepts his idea and it becomes a revolution.

It makes sense why they did not load it with tons of internal memory. Doing so would have jacked up the cost. I plan on primarily sticking with physical copies of retail games so it shouldn't be too much of a problem. Besides, if I got a 2TB USB device, it would last for a long time.

If it's from Pixel, it's worth a look.

I guess that's too bad, but they plan on fixing that in the future. I've only got Mario Tennis and Majora's Mask on my Wii so the change won't be that bad.

Nice to hear that games can be played off of external devices. -.- I'm not sure how much I'll use such a device because I don't currently have plans to go all digital. Buying digital copies would be good if a game was hard to get though.

If I were to get a version, I would go with the 3DS version.

@Sun I believe that some of the previous Iwata Ask's have detailed the Wii U's hardware specs.
I think that the Wii U's price is very reasonable. However, because Nintendo is selling it at a loss, I do not believe that there will be a price drop any time soon.

I certainly hope that the translation wasn't spot on. It would be a pain to not be able to play a game directly off of the USB.
