Never actually got the 3DS version, so it's either get 21 levels +Hyper mode, or 15 levels and that's it. This is a very hard choice.

I actually figured this out myself AFTER I updated initially. I had an apparent update running for netflix, and the fact that it said download management on the home menu. Does no one press the home button?

I actually like the optional idea. It'll still show the person's score, it'll just say "this person has chosen to hide the achievements." I'd be turning them off, because I don't like them, but a lot of time I either see an achievement and try to get it and can't stop trying, like said in the article, or they unlock something. This way, I don't have too see them, developers won't make them unlock things, and people won't start internet wars. The end.

With the Wii, I didn't have internet access a tone point. I bought a newer game, and it told me I needed an update. I didn't bother thinking of the fact I had no internet, and clicked it. It updated. The casual crowd without wi-fi will just click it anyway, and everyone else probably has wi-fi.
EDIT: after reading, I thought that it wasn't clear enough I meant you don't necessarily need internet, not that Wii games will magically have Wii U updates on them. So they could load an ad for a disk, and the casual crowd won't bother thinking "I don't have internet" for any updates when they put in the magic disks of bettering.

So, what do Mario and Luigi represent? Or are they just here to hang out?

To be honest, what more do you need to know than "it's a social network, sorted by game." It's not a very hard concept. it doesn't matter for me anyway, I couldn't care less if there's a social network. As long as the online isn't as slow as a Wii Shop download (those took forever), I'm good.

EDIT: @Alienfish That game was awesome! And if you didn't buy it, did you get to DEMO it or some'im'? 'Cus how else would you know that you hated it. You really can't tell the "goodness" of a game by video.

Obviously they mean anyone can play. I think they should just start saying "I'm not a gamer, but I'm still an artist with my 3DS," so everyone will stop the "3DS is too for gamers!" stuff.

This is useless. The only time you have to get the Wiimote synced is when you first get it. guess what else you have to do then? Put in batteries. Real useful. I actually don't put on the Wiimote jacket for the sole purpose of easy battery change. So rechargeable batteries built in? I'm all for. Sign me up. Then I won't think this is getting one stilt. (You do something, but it doesn't matter until you do something else that you don't see you have to do, but everyone else can quite easily.)

On the subject of Wii U, has anyone seen the Burger King Wii U commercials? Apparently, there is a Wii U toy in the kid's meal, and they're giving out 10 free Wii Us.

I wasn't planning on buying this, but I'm guessing this will be the #1 played song. Not that I really like it, I only saw Super Mario style because of the article, and I haven't seen the original.

I don't see how it could be more cramped than the Pro Controller. I mean, you add 3 buttons that are reachable and make 3 other buttons practically unreachable? This is unacceptable, at least until you realize all of the said moved buttons pause.

Well, less social gaming means smarter people. Zynga, the is 2 things you need to do. 1) Make games besides social ones 2) Stop naming every last one of your game ___ville! Really! Farmville, Cityville, heck, there's even a game called Theville! I'm serious! I'm surprised there's not a game called Villeville!

Considering the demo had 2-player, I doubt the full game wouldn't. Plus, has there EVER been a single-player LEGO console game? Although, it would be sensible, considering no games use duel GamePads yet.

I'm fine with the no account thing since I haven't even scratched a game, and system transfer will let me put it on a new console. I'm in U.S., so price isn't an issue. My only problem is memory space. I have a flimsy 4GB SD card, so that's gotta change. That is my assessment of the cons of DLing.

@clavier141 The problem is, there is no way to actually tell whether or not you own a game. If its based on if you have save data, you can just borrow a copy from a friend, put it in the 3ds, make a file, and give it back. I can't think of any other way, so...

Well, I might actually download OoT 3D considering it's small size. Probably not. Wish a size for Paper Mario could come, but it's probably still working out a few kinks.
