I like games. "I get collecting fits" with things that interest me. But in short burst. I got into comics for two years and started collecting all the great Batman Runs, One shots and mini-series. Then I moved on to Yo-yo more precisely wooden fixed axle "throws" (what the new kids call yo-yo's these days)

Then two years ago I found an old box of NES carts in my wife's old house closet and Got a a NES for cheap on eBay. I've been collecting all the consoles I had when I was a kid and the games i really liked most. And the games that were my absolute favorite in Boxes.
It's fun to display. and of course play.

I don't care what anyone says. Every couple years I enjoy watching Mortal Kombat the movie.

It's almost as if Nintendo wants to destroy its brand intentionally? I just don't understand their strategy lately. Their console is great. Not bad considering it's their first Crack at HD but their games lately are lackluster and some are downright garbage. Their marketing is horrible and next to non existent.

@TwilightAngel oh I was just about to call it. But you said it first. I totally agree. If Nintendo launched NX with this game and another strong game or two I think NX would sell like hot cakes!

Why does Wii U have zero 3rd party support? Is it solely the low install base?

@bloodycelt You are so wrong. In no way is it solely Gamepad that is holding back devs. If they want they could just not stream anything as with DKTF.

I'll buy virtual console once they announce its tied to an account and will transfer over to the Next home console without paying again!!!! I won't pay a 3rd time. Hopefully they're releasing so slow because this is their final virtual console base, meaning it will be set like this forever. I don't pay to transfer my music from one apple device to the new apple device.

They really need a shake up, wake up and take a new approach to their brand. Who are they appealing to? "everyone"? How's that been working out... Children? They're playing XBOX and PlayStation along with teens and adults.
They use to be hardcore in the 90's. Now they're the butt end of a joke.
The fact that they don't care about getting 3rd Party support is horrible. They can't make it on their own and they shouldn't be expected to either.

I love my Wii U. But you know what?! It's sad and pathetic that none of my friends care to buy one or are interested cuz the first thing they ask is, what games does it got?!
I name maybe 3. They say what else? They ask is Mortal Kombat X coming for it? Is blah blah coming out for it?

It's sad. I feel bad for them. I don't know what's worse.
