funky Barn didn't look as polished as Hay Day... and that's an iOS and Android game... c'mon this for Wii U... next gen ... i wanna see the fur on those cows and lil' freckles and spotted utters! grass swaying as they're grazing! too much?

I don't see "X" releasing this year at all..... I also am pretty sure almost 100% that Super Smash Bros. Wii U will release DECEMBER 2014 for NA

I'm a little disappointed that we don't know of more games releasing 2014 or have a solid release date other than Donkey Kong. I'm most anticipating PROJECT CARS ... and MonolithSoft X. also YOSHI... Smash Bros looks better than Brawl but.... not much different?... i mean it's the same game essentially.. Mario Kart 8 looks beautiful. The new tracks look great and i'm excited to play it. DK doesn't look much different and i'm a little burned out on side scrollers though they are some of my favs.. i won't be getting it right away.

Hyrule Warriors looks like that biggest turd to ever get pushed out... i'm shocked they are really doing it... they're really putting that game out huh?...

I'd love to hear more new titles though... I don't want familiar characters in new games .. i want NEW GAMES. why is Nintendo so afraid?..

I'am so hyped and excited for this game... ever since i heard about it and caught a glimpse of it in that sizzle reel from the Nintendo Direct back in FEB, 2012.
Can you believe it? finally a true beautiful racing simulator. I can't wait. this is my most anticipated game coming to Wii U. next is Yarn Yoshi but we don't know anything about that game yet. oh and X

man the 3DS is kicking donkey with the games they got... i just bought my lil bro a 3DS for christmas with two games. he said he wants one.... you know what wasn't on his christmas list?... a wii u. man i got one and i'm bummed. i guess i haven't really been impressed with nintendo console games since the nintendo 64. twilight princess was amazing thought and galaxy was fun. but i'm digging 3D World... i'm just tired of waiting for the games i guess.

Almost fkrgot . ... super smash coming to 3DS and pheonix and attack of the titans... gosh theres so many reasons to own a 3DS ... pokemon, animal crossing, shin megami, luigis mansion2, etc..... why the wii u is trickling drip feeding one or two games a yr is beyond me.... I just dont get it. Why are they not working on 3rd party support.? How can they dominate handheld and be clueless in the living room?

I agree... the 3DS is amazing! The wii u. ... hmmm not so much but its okay .. theyll get em next time. Next gen after wiiups4box1 Nintendo will deliver .. or else theyll lose me forever. Kids today are a bunch of nancy sissy boys. Go play some NES, beat the original Mario and genesis' Sonic The Hedgehog 2 then talk to me about how hard platformers are today. Lost World is fun and not too difficult.

so it's like they got 2 games coming out in 2014.. .Mario Kart 8 and Super Smash Bros. i wonder if they'll release anything else ...

@CountWavula Well yes! if you don't know where the buttons are... you can look down at the controller and still see the game via the controller screen.
that way you can see what buttons you're pressing and play while never looking up if you don't want to.
it's like having a 2DS for your home console. but the battery only last about 3hrs.

I agree with many that this VGX awards is a great place to try and bring back the core gamer and you'll do that by advtzg games like METROID, X, some new game? ...

I'll just say this... as many have already.. If I see more footage for Smash Bros, Mario Kart 8... I'll be really disappointed. That will be lame.

I agree!!!! Mario 64 & Ocarina of Time are the best games i've played in the past 17 yrs.

I've been saying this for awhile now.. All the 3DS needs is a texting feature.. better web browser and app a few essential apps. and they are the best phone ill ever want / need.
