I sure hope Wii U isn't released in no October 2012. For me, that's too soon. November 2012 would be better for me cause it gives me time to save up for it and for me to also have a good battle plan strategy of what games I want to get alongside the new console. I just want New Super Mario Bros. U and Pikmin 3 if possible with the Wii U and I'll be happy. Please Nintendo, make it happen.
DANG!! I think they stole the show already by doing this. A hell of a lot of improvements that I noticed that wasn't even thinkable on Wii. The biggest feature I noticed was that it looks like the Wii U can act like sort of a forums / comments section. That and the addition of this Miiverse. It makes it look like a big hub based online server where people can interact with each ohter whenever they want. Awesome to me with that. I can't wait to see what happens at E3 when their press conference surfaces.
To be honest, I wasn't really expecting much on a game like Rayman on the GAME BOY COLOR. The game is OK if you want to go ahead and play through it just to beat it. But to me, GBC version of the game or not, this game looked like it tried to do too much on the GAME BOY COLOR. I'd be more comfortable playing the DSiWare version any day than this one. But all in all, I had to at least give this one a try for the heck of it seeing as how I missed out on it back in the day.
Monster World IV for me is where the Wii VC really struck GOLD this year. Not just as a japanese import game, but when you go through the trouble to translate a game like that for a different region's audience who didn't get to experience it back in the day, then that's saying something imo. Overall, I was really impressed by the way this game plays. And the music, sound and graphics to me are just beautiful. I may have not beaten this game the whole way through like others have. But I'm really enjoying this game more and more everytime I load it up. As for "Game of the Month" , I say this game is TRULY WORTHY of that title and more in my book.
I agree with Bass_X0 only for the reason being that you don't see that much of any Mega Man game being released for the Wii VC or the 3DS VC. Sure, we may have only gotten Mega Man: Dr Wily's Revenge for GAME BOY from the eShop back in mid September of last year here in the US. But in all honesty here, when was the last time that Nintendo ever decided to go ahead and try to bring over a good Mega Man game like say Mega Man 6 for the Wii VC. Hopefully we get Mega Man X2 soon here ourselves.
Well, according to this one part of NOA's page I go to every week when I go to check on their VC games. It shows that Rayman for the GAME BOY COLOR is marked at $4.99 when it hits the eShop today. To me, I'd be happier if it were $3.99 , but then again, with GAME BOY COLOR games, you've gotta expect this at times. Besides, for NOA to charge $9.99 for an old retro title like Rayman from the GBC is just idiotic to me.
I'm glad that we're getting another GBC game for the eShop for the 2nd week in a row. The only thing that has me really baffled by all of this is that, why would we be getting 2 GBC games, one after the other within the course of 2 weeks? It just don't make sense. Not that I have an issue with this, because I don't. I'm just saying is that it feels really weird to me. All in all, I can't wait to try the GAME BOY COLOR version of Rayman. I might give Metal Slug 3 a go too.
I want to go ahead and say one of the launch titles for Wii U could be a new Zelda game. Which by the way, could VERY WELL be one. But to me, I'm gonna go into the wild and say that it could possibly be a new Mario & Luigi game for Wii U also. I mean, why not treat the Mario & Luigi RPG games the same way with the way how Nintendo is bringing Paper Mario over to the 3DS. Only makes sense to me.
If I recall right, I think they made Rayman 2 the same way as how they made the N64 and PS1 versions. All in all, I can't wait to download Rayman for the 3DS VC as I never played it before when it came out on GAME BOY COLOR.
Since we're on the subject, I can think of 2 GAME BOY COLOR games that were left out of the bunch. Pokemon Trading Card Game , Pokemon Gold , Pokemon Silver and Pokemon Crystal. I wouldn't mind going back and playing games like those again.
No, you took what I said wrong. I mean that it would be a good idea for Japan, Europe & North America to each have access to import titles on each region's eShop. Think of it like how we have the import games on Wii VC. Like say Monster World IV and Sin & Punishment for example. Those were Japan ONLY games for quite a long time in gaming history. But ever since Wii came along with the Virtual Console service, that changed.
@Stuffgamer1
You know it's funny you bring up the GAME BOY COLOR version of Donkey Kong Country. Now that I think of it too, since you corrected me on it, which I'm glad someone did, cause I forgot there was a GAME BOY COLOR version of DKC out there. But the reason why I said Donkey Kong Land series is because to me, lots of gamers to this day still recall memories of playing the DKL series on GAME BOY as much as they did the DKC series on SUPER NINTENDO. Even if they were GB ports of the SNES games. But imo, there's quite a bit out there that really don't remember Donkey Kong Country on GAME BOY COLOR as much as they would like to. Not saying it's a bad game, but to me, it usually gets overshadowed by the DKL series.
In that list, I think you mean't to say DKL as in the Donkey Kong Land series. But ya, the list you posted is a real dam good one. The ones that most stand out to me are Super Mario Bros. Deluxe , the rest of the Mega Man series, Shantae , DKL 1, 2 & 3 and the 2 Zelda games. Here's hoping it happens very soon.
@LordOtaku
Same here man. I couldn't agree with you more. Since E3 2012 is nearly around the corner, I expect some really decent retro games coming from the North American eShop near or around the weeks close to it. IMO , we waited WAAYY too dam long on Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3 and Kid Icarus: Of Myths And Monsters. Time for NOA to pay up with the games ppl want to see.
@dark-insanity
Well the way how I see it goes like this man.
1: First off, Nintendo in all regions would have to make a decision to finally include GBA games as an option for gamers to download the games they want to replay again, or for the ppl who missed out on them back then.
2: If Nintendo Of Japan was lucky enough to get a game that never saw the light of day like Kid Icarus: Of Myths And Monsters back in the GAME BOY era in Japan, but were able to get their hands on the game as an import on 2/8/2012 of this year for the Japanese 3DS VC , then there could be hope for Game & Watch Gallery 4 making it's way over there.
Besides, all in all, I think it would be a great idea if one day, all regions of the eShop can see imports of games that were released for one region on a portable like GAME BOY COLOR in Japan, but not for Europe and North America. A good example would be a colorized version of Donkey Kong Land III that was released for the GAME BOY COLOR on 1/28/2000. Just the fact of not knowing unless you look it up, that an old GAME BOY game like Donkey Kong Land III was redone in color for the GAME BOY COLOR would be worth the interest for anyone to want and try out.
There are actually 4 Game & Watch Gallery games in total. 1 on GAME BOY, 2 on GAME BOY COLOR and 1 on GAME BOY ADVANCE. The one I remember the most is Game & Watch Gallery 3 which I owned back in the day when I had my Kiwi Green GBC which now belongs to my mom. As of late with these past 2 Game & Watch Gallery games, I'm starting to enjoy 2 a lot better than I did with 1 on GAME BOY.
@RR529
Not trying to tell you what do like a parent or some junk like that. But you should at least give Game & Watch Gallery 2 a shot even if you didn't care much for Game & Watch Gallery on GAME BOY. This one seems to have a lot more replay value imo than the 1st one did. Definitely glad I bought this game for $3.99 on the eShop.
I'm glad to see that NOA FINALLY get their DAM act together and decided to add another 3DS VC game like Game & Watch Gallery 2 for the GAME BOY COLOR onto the eShop. This imo is just what they needed a week after getting back on track with releasing Kirby's Block Ball last week. I can't wait to find out how Game & Watch Gallery 2 compares to the first game as I never played this installment in the series before.
@Geonjaha
Disgracefully left behind doesn't even BEGIN to explain NOA's POOR PATHETIC excuse for not putting ANYTHING on their eShop for a period of 2 months time ever since the last games we got were GAME GEAR games on 3/15/2012. I'm glad at least we're getting something for the 2nd week now after going through all that crap for 2 months. I said it before and I'll say it again. At E3 2012 , Nintendo is gonna have a LOT of explaining to do at their Press Conference to the fans cause of the lack of attention to the 3DS VC for that time period.
I literally fell in love with this game when I downloaded it 2 Saturdays ago. The game feels and plays great just you would expect from any of the other games in the series. It seems SEGA to me has hit all the key points they needed to when they translated this game and brought it over to the VC. I'm looking forward to seeing what other goodies come from the GENESIS imo tbh. Mickey Mania to me would be a good start. Or maybe Castle Of Illusion would be nice to see.
I remember how I spent hours on this game trying to find all the Rainbow Drops when I had this game as a kid. It was one of the highlight GAME BOY games for me also, next to Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins and Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3. I just hope NOA decides to release this game very soon than turn out to be trolls again soon.
It's good to have a 3DS VC game back on the eShop after the crazy 2 months of stupid nonsense we had to deal with. Here's hoping that the North American eShop doesn't go back into idiot mode next week after we get Kirby's Block Ball this week. I've been wanting to try this game ever since I found out about it being in our eShop since the beginning of May. As far as I'm concerned, Kirby has saved the 3DS VC line of retro games, for now at least.
This is the game I DEFINTIELY remember THE MOST of the Mystical Ninja series. Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon on the N64 . I never had a chance to play the Goemon game on GAME BOY , but remember seeing it in a Caldor's that used to be around where I live, long ago when I was a kid. The one thing that throws me off that why is there no Yae in the game screenshots when she definitely is CLEARLY on the box cover's box art. Very confusing to me, but all in all, DAY 1 purchase for me the day it comes out onto the North American eShop.
Ya, I don't expect any Dreamcast games AT ALL myself to hit until probably when the Wii U launches tbh. What REALLY could have been nice to have saw on the Wii VC would have been maybe a couple of SEGA CD games or SEGA SATURN games. But with the way of how the Wii is made, I said this before and I'll say it again. I don't think it would have done Nintendo any good because they would have gamers buying digital games that would constantly freeze on them due to the full motion cutscenes from some SATURN games. That and also, you never know. Point and click based games like Jurassic Park say for example would have killed it. Heck, it could have maybe got stuck a few times and just stopped working. Not to say games like Sonic CD or Sonic R would have not worked OK, but I'm just saying when you look into a deep possible theory of what could have been on Wii if they went ahead and released SEGA CD and SATURN games. But all in all, like I said before in the beginning of my post, Dreamcast games could probably work really well on a console like Wii U when the time comes.
Well, you gotta remember one thing about NOA. First of all, they have the minds of COMPLETE MORONS when it comes to releasing any GAME BOY, GAME BOY COLOR or GAME GEAR games when it comes to the fact of the North American eShop being vacant for any retro titles showing up for the past 2 months. Second is that to me, they don't know how to market the digital downloads as well as they would like to. Like say for example, it's not as good as how Europe / Australia and Japan market their digital downloads for their eShop with the 3DS VC games. They have been succeeding so far lately. As for where we rank compared to our counterpart regions, we failed as of late.
I kind of have the same vibe you do about wanting to own all the Sonic games. But to me, I want a chance to own ALL the portable titles from the 3DS VC when it all comes down to the selection that the eShop has so far. Heck, with Kirby's Block Ball making it's debut this week in the North American eShop, that's just another game to go to my growing collection.
DO NOT even get me started on the Wuhu Loop glitch. I first found about that one THE HARD WAY! about a month ago, and let me tell you. It really pissed me the hell off to see the ppl who used it, respawn about a few feet away from the finish line stealing my 1ST. Not as much annoying to me as the INFAMOUS Maka Wuhu glitch imo. But it had it's fair share of making some Mario Kart 7 racers like me rage.
In truth, it doesn't matter if ppl choose this track anymore or not now because the glitch is gone.The Maka Wuhu course will continue to picked A LOT continuously so ppl can see all the cheaters fail and fail and FAIL.
Thanks for the advice. I'll remember that. TBH actually, I couldn't care less if this was a lesser kind of Sonic 3D Blast OR Sonic Blast game. But with me, in the way how you're saying that he can't jump is like a challenge to me. That and when you also add the fact that he can't run fast in this game like other Sonic games and he can only rely on practically nothing but his Spin Dash is awkward. All in all, I welcome a game like this. Even if it is one of the worst Sonic games that was EVER made. I missed out on this when I was a kid and when it does come out in North America on the eShop, it will be a nice little try out for myself to experiment with.
I agree 100% with Duney on comment #110. I myself don't try to do the glitch on Maka Wuhu cause I always want to try and finish the race on that selected course the fair and legal way. Now I know that ppl get upset and drop out for when others use the glitch to get a win and tbh, they have a right to be upset and drop out if they feel they want to. It's just that with the way how I see things, I just don't like the fact that at times, that ppl will call me or other fair playing racers cheaters like say in an 8 Player race for example when say like 5 - 6 racers out of the whole bunch will go to abuse the Maka Wuhu glitch to get a cheap win. But then when you for example, if I or others go to use the glitch just to try and show the DAM cheaters a thing or two and beat them at their own game, you still get called a cheater for it. Just to clarify in my FINAL CLOSING statement: I am known as 3DS*LUIGI$ on Mario Kart 7, 3 STAR Rank, and I always try to play that course and every other for that matter the same way. I don't need to cheat to win. But just remember one thing, just in case if I was to do it just because of what I just explained about the whole 5 - 6 racers doing the glitch out of an 8 Player race, it doesn't make me look like a cheater if I do it the FAIR and LEGAL way every other time.
While I know and understand that Sonic Labyrinth is a HORRIBLE Sonic game, I still want to try this out despite that fact. Like Kyloctopus said earlier, this games does look like Sonic 3D Blast. But to me, with the way how the game is described in it's Acts, it sounds a bit more and more like Sonic 3D Blast with the way of you going around collecting keys to advance. Sounds almost like collecting the Flickies in Sonic 3D Blast.
FINALLY GLAD this glitch is dead. I found out I had to do a system update to play MK 7 online this morning. So I knew it finally had to be the patch for the Maka Wuhu glitch and other glitches. I don't understand one thing about this glitch patch though. Why would it not work OFFLINE but for the ONLINE gameplay portion, it works OK now. Even though it may not be important to some, it kind of is to me. Plus, I think I will join everyone here for a party tonight. Celebrations are INDEED in order. Thank god Nintendo FINALLY listened to their fans about this glitch problem. Now if only we can get new characters and some new tracks via DLC, this whole game would be worth playing even more.
You know man, it's funny that you mention that. True, it's a good way to get anyone hyped for Pikmin 3. But to me, now that I think more about this, I wonder if this is kinda Nintendo's way in North America to get ppl excited for Pikmin 3 for when it shows up at E3 2012.
I said that only because of in this case, North America NEVER SAW any sign of this game after Japan had gotten it for their country. Besides, if I recall correctly, NOA didn't want to release New Play Control! Pikmin 2 in the US at the time because they had no plans of any kind or reason enough to bring it to North American gamers. Besides, uh ya, they have. Just look at the lack of the 3DS VC games on the eShop in North America and compare those ratings to those of the 3DS VC games Europe & Japan got within the course of about nearly 2 months time almost. Really makes me sick to my stomach to know NOA over here trolled us for so long releasing nothing but 3DSWare games and NOT A SINGLE 3DS VC game for nearly 2 months.
Ya, I think I heard before some time ago that you guys in Europe had gotten Pikmin 2 on Wii right after it came out in Japan. It's funny how MOST of the time, NOA screws us over here in the US and waits until nearly the last min. to send us a game that's 2 or 3 years old.
This should be a good pick up for me as I never really had a chance to play through all of Pikmin 2 when it came out on Gamecube. If I remember right, I think Japan has had this game since 2010 or 2009. Not exactly sure entirely. But it's finally good to see the Wii version of this game making it's North American debut.
LOL. I know the feeling man. I facepalm myself at times in humor on stuff like the situation TauuaT was in with not knowing about games like Monster World IV and Wonder Boy in Monster Land being on one platform instead of being on the one he / she thinks it was on. But in this kind of situation, some gamers are too young to know about stuff like that because chances are, most of us weren't around back in the day to know about these kind of games that existed. It's either that or in this case where she didn't know what console the game appeared on. BTW, Monster World IV PWNS so much like you wouldn't believe.
@Rargon
It's not pinball bro. It's more like a Kirby version of an old game called Breakout that started out on the ATARI 2600 if I remember right. Many other games copied off of it's style of gameplay also. Just look at Alleyway for GAME BOY from the 3DS VC and play that game. Then you'll know what I mean.
Game & Watch Gallery 2 sounds real cool if it ever makes it here to the North American eShop. I never played this game before but loved the 1st Game & Watch Gallery on GAME BOY thanks to the 3DS VC. If this game is as promising as the review makes it seem, then I'm all for this game day 1 as a download the min. it hits the eShop. The one game I can't help but get my mind off of out of this whole group of games is Chef. I think I may have played this on a friend's GAME BOY COLOR back when I was a kid. But then again, I really can't remember if I did or not. All in all, ya great choice of games for this selection.
@eleven59
It would be cool to see a Super Mario Bros. 3 OR The Legend Of Zelda , or heck, maybe even BOTH one day if they ever do get remade. The only way I say now to probably experience those games since they were never made on any GAME BOY , GAME BOY COLOR or GAME BOY ADVANCE is to make them for the 3DSWare. Just like how they made some of the originals onto the 9 Game & Watch DSiWare games we got about 2 years ago.
Uhh, hate to tell you this, but you're serching on the wrong device. Both Monster World IV and Wonder Boy in Monster Land are on the Wii Shop Channel. Not the 3DS.
Well, from what I been hearing with NOE as of late is that some of the gamers in that region are wondering why Mutant Mudds is taking such a long time to come out if I recall right. With me, I do feel sorry that the European crowd don't have it sooner than later like with how we over here have it in North America. It's kind of like with the way of how we're all here complaining about the lack of 3DS VC games support for the eShop for the past 2 months nearly when you think about it.
Heh, I got one better for you. I can remember not too long ago where Nintendo in BOTH North America and Europe got Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins at the SAME TIME! Same thing happened with some other games also. But I can't remember what they are at the moment, but I know it happened. All in all, the point I'm trying to make here is, big name games for example like Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3 or even Kirby's Dream Land 2 should come out in BOTH regions on the same week. Not one long after the other. It's like playing an act of favoritism. Not fun.
You know, I can understand about how it would be tough to emulate SATURN games like you said because of the complexity of the console. But like I go back in to my own way of thinking about this. I still say from my point of view, that I think a LOT of why no one ever sees SATURN games on Wii VC is due to the fact of the motion cutscenes. Let's say like a game, NiGHTS: Into Dreams for example. There's a nice little motion cutscene right at the beginning of the game before you get into the game to actually start enjoying it. I don't think the Wii would able to handle it that well for a VC game without having the game maybe freezing a few times on the gamer who would be going to try it out for the first time. Of course I'm referring to the point where I mean if he / she never played the game before back on the SATURN that is. Now on Wii U, if they have something similar to the eShop, then I believe it can ACTUALLY work with NO PROBLEM what so ever due to the Wii U being a bit stronger console. Here's hoping that comes into view very clearly in Nintendo's future.
You know it's strange the more and more I think about this. Even though the SEGA SATURN was CD based with it's games, to me, the graphics were just about the same as what we saw on the N64 in the past. Except for the fact that most SATURN games had motion cutscenes in which the N64 had a bit of trouble doing for their own games. I'd kill to see SATURN games on the Wii U when the time comes. Heck, maybe we could see some SEGA CD games also. Even though they weren't released on the Wii VC , I think SEGA could have done VERY WELL with marketing SEGA CD games on the Wii VC with the way that they're having so much success on digital downloads as of late. Sonic CD on Wii VC if it were possible. YES PLEASE!
I feel the same way you do man. I just wish we had access to Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3 , Kid Icarus: Of Myths And Monsters and the 2 Wario Land GBC games that Nintendo Of Japan just got not too long ago. Kirby's Dream Land 2 is one I can wait a bit longer on, but the 4 games mentioned above are on the top of my 3DS VC wish list for North America as of now.
You missed the point I was getting at in my last post. I was only trying to explain to Dodger what Kirby's Block Ball is like. That way, if he ever played a game like Alleyway for example, he would know what I was getting at is all.
Be lucky we here in the US will be getting Kirby's Block Ball next week man. It's better than not getting anything with the way how we been treated with no GB, GBC or GAME GEAR games as of late. I'm actually looking forward to Kirby's Block Ball next week.
Don't give it a quick shove to the side real quick. If you ever played a game like Alleyway for GAME BOY from the 3DS VC. Well that gets a bit addicting and difficult in gameplay the more you play it. That's what Kirby's Block Ball is like. If you ever played a game like Breakout, then that's what Kirby's Block Ball is like. Very fun game to try out. You won't be disappointed.
LOL. I find this a REAL DAM joke by Nintendo. I swear, I hope it ain't false. I fire up my 3DS and look on the eShop for anything good just a few minutes ago and they claim that Kirby's Block Ball is slated for a release next week on 5/17/2012. I really hope this ain't Nintendo playing the troll act with us just for their own amusement.
Well in this situation where the eShop is at with the 3DS VC , Nintendo will DEFINITELY have a hell of a lot of explaining to do to their fans come E3 2012 at their Nintendo E3 2012 Press Conference. Hardcore and casual. I mean, even if a GAME BOY, GAME BOY COLOR or GAME GEAR game hits the eShop next week, it won't mean a thing AT ALL because of all the idiotic crap us gamers here in the US have been put through while Europe and Japan get treated like kings.
Very awesome for Europe that they get Kirby's Dream Land 2 for the 3DS VC next week. I used to own this little gem back when I had a Game Boy Pocket back in the day. To me, Kirby's Dream Land 2 was the DEFINITIVE Kirby GAME BOY game to own out of both this one and Kirby's Dream Land. Not saying that Kirby's Dream Land was a bad game, don't get me wrong. I just think that 2 took everything that made 1 fun and added on to it just like how Super Mario Bros. 3 did in comparison to Super Mario Bros. back in the NES era. Can't wait to see if North America is smart enough to add this game to our 3DS VC soon.
To be honest, there was no OFFICIAL mention of Kirby's Block Ball anywhere around from what I noticed last week to begin with. Besides, whoever said last week that Kirby's Block Ball was coming for this week's showing must have been spouting out nonsense just to get a good kick for laughs. Another troll up to their own tricks again if you ask me.

Re: Reggie: Wii U Launch Window is Four Months Long
I sure hope Wii U isn't released in no October 2012.

Re: E3 2012: Nintendo Direct Live
This is sooooo gonna rule! The earlier the Wii U news comes, the better for BOTH the fans and Nintendo. Bring on the showstopper Iwata & co.
Re: Review: Rayman (3DS eShop / Game Boy Color)
To be honest, I wasn't really expecting much on a game like Rayman on the GAME BOY COLOR. The game is OK if you want to go ahead and play through it just to beat it. But to me, GBC version of the game or not, this game looked like it tried to do too much on the GAME BOY COLOR. I'd be more comfortable playing the DSiWare version any day than this one. But all in all, I had to at least give this one a try for the heck of it seeing as how I missed out on it back in the day.
Re: Game of the Month: May 2012 - Monster World IV
Monster World IV for me is where the Wii VC really struck GOLD this year. Not just as a japanese import game, but when you go through the trouble to translate a game like that for a different region's audience who didn't get to experience it back in the day, then that's saying something imo. @Johnnyb7
Dude, I can prove it's gonna be $4.99. No typo or anything involved.

Re: Nintendo Download: 31st May 2012 (North America)
I agree with Bass_X0 only for the reason being that you don't see that much of any Mega Man game being released for the Wii VC or the 3DS VC. Sure, we may have only gotten Mega Man: Dr Wily's Revenge for GAME BOY from the eShop back in mid September of last year here in the US. But in all honesty here, when was the last time that Nintendo ever decided to go ahead and try to bring over a good Mega Man game like say Mega Man 6 for the Wii VC. Hopefully we get Mega Man X2 soon here ourselves.
Re: Nintendo Download: 31st May 2012 (North America)
@Johnnyb7
Re: Nintendo Download: 31st May 2012 (North America)
I'm glad that we're getting another GBC game for the eShop for the 2nd week in a row. The only thing that has me really baffled by all of this is that, why would we be getting 2 GBC games, one after the other within the course of 2 weeks? It just don't make sense. Not that I have an issue with this, because I don't. I'm just saying is that it feels really weird to me. All in all, I can't wait to try the GAME BOY COLOR version of Rayman. I might give Metal Slug 3 a go too.
Re: Nintendo Teases Wii U Launch Line-Up
I want to go ahead and say one of the launch titles for Wii U could be a new Zelda game.

Re: Nintendo Download: 24th May 2012 (North America)
@pokeDrago
Since we're on the subject, I can think of 2 GAME BOY COLOR games that were left out of the bunch. Pokemon Trading Card Game , Pokemon Gold , Pokemon Silver and Pokemon Crystal. I wouldn't mind going back and playing games like those again.
Re: Nintendo Download: 24th May 2012 (North America)
@dark-insanity
@Stuffgamer1
Re: Nintendo Download: 24th May 2012 (North America)
@pokeDrago
@LordOtaku
@dark-insanity
Re: Nintendo Download: 24th May 2012 (North America)
@espinozac7
@RR529
Re: Nintendo Download: 24th May 2012 (North America)
I'm glad to see that NOA FINALLY get their DAM act together and decided to add another 3DS VC game like Game & Watch Gallery 2 for the GAME BOY COLOR onto the eShop. This imo is just what they needed a week after getting back on track with releasing Kirby's Block Ball last week. I can't wait to find out how Game & Watch Gallery 2 compares to the first game as I never played this installment in the series before.
@Geonjaha
Re: Review: Monster World IV (Wii Virtual Console / Mega Drive)
I literally fell in love with this game when I downloaded it 2 Saturdays ago. The game feels and plays great just you would expect from any of the other games in the series. It seems SEGA to me has hit all the key points they needed to when they translated this game and brought it over to the VC. I'm looking forward to seeing what other goodies come from the GENESIS imo tbh. Mickey Mania to me would be a good start. Or maybe Castle Of Illusion would be nice to see.
Re: Review: Kirby's Dream Land 2 (3DS eShop / Game Boy)
I remember how I spent hours on this game trying to find all the Rainbow Drops when I had this game as a kid. It was one of the highlight GAME BOY games for me also, next to Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins and Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3. I just hope NOA decides to release this game very soon than turn out to be trolls again soon.
Re: Nintendo Download: 17th May 2012 (North America)
It's good to have a 3DS VC game back on the eShop after the crazy 2 months of stupid nonsense we had to deal with. Here's hoping that the North American eShop doesn't go back into idiot mode next week after we get Kirby's Block Ball this week. I've been wanting to try this game ever since I found out about it being in our eShop since the beginning of May. As far as I'm concerned, Kirby has saved the 3DS VC line of retro games, for now at least.
Re: Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon
This is the game I DEFINTIELY remember THE MOST of the Mystical Ninja series. Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon on the N64 . I never had a chance to play the Goemon game on GAME BOY , but remember seeing it in a Caldor's that used to be around where I live, long ago when I was a kid. The one thing that throws me off that why is there no Yae in the game screenshots when she definitely is CLEARLY on the box cover's box art. Very confusing to me, but all in all, DAY 1 purchase for me the day it comes out onto the North American eShop.
Re: Organise a Big Kid Icarus Event, Win Prizes
I would love to do like a group 3DS meet-up for Kid Icarus: Uprising. The only problem with that is not many ppl are in the area where I live.
Re: Review: Sonic Labyrinth (3DS eShop / Game Gear)
@Samholy
Re: Kirby's Dream Land 2 Reaches Europe Next Week
@8bitforever
Re: Review: Sonic Labyrinth (3DS eShop / Game Gear)
@Knuckles
Re: Mario Kart 7 Update Available Now
@Gridattack
Re: Mario Kart 7 Update Available Now
@iPruch
In truth, it doesn't matter if ppl choose this track anymore or not now because the glitch is gone.The Maka Wuhu course will continue to picked A LOT continuously so ppl can see all the cheaters fail and fail and FAIL.
Re: Review: Sonic Labyrinth (3DS eShop / Game Gear)
@Reala
Re: Mario Kart 7 Update Available Now
I agree 100% with Duney on comment #110.
Re: Review: Sonic Labyrinth (3DS eShop / Game Gear)
While I know and understand that Sonic Labyrinth is a HORRIBLE Sonic game, I still want to try this out despite that fact. Like Kyloctopus said earlier, this games does look like Sonic 3D Blast. But to me, with the way how the game is described in it's Acts, it sounds a bit more and more like Sonic 3D Blast with the way of you going around collecting keys to advance. Sounds almost like collecting the Flickies in Sonic 3D Blast.
Re: Mario Kart 7 Update Available Now
FINALLY GLAD this glitch is dead.
Re: Wii Pikmin 2 Hits North America on 10th June for $19.99
@SkywardLink98
You know man, it's funny that you mention that. True, it's a good way to get anyone hyped for Pikmin 3. But to me, now that I think more about this, I wonder if this is kinda Nintendo's way in North America to get ppl excited for Pikmin 3 for when it shows up at E3 2012.
Re: Wii Pikmin 2 Hits North America on 10th June for $19.99
@LztheBlehBird
Re: Wii Pikmin 2 Hits North America on 10th June for $19.99
@NintendoLee
Ya, I think I heard before some time ago that you guys in Europe had gotten Pikmin 2 on Wii right after it came out in Japan. It's funny how MOST of the time, NOA screws us over here in the US and waits until nearly the last min. to send us a game that's 2 or 3 years old.
Re: Wii Pikmin 2 Hits North America on 10th June for $19.99
This should be a good pick up for me as I never really had a chance to play through all of Pikmin 2 when it came out on Gamecube. If I remember right, I think Japan has had this game since 2010 or 2009. Not exactly sure entirely. But it's finally good to see the Wii version of this game making it's North American debut.
Re: Nintendo Download: 10th May 2012 (North America)
@DarkEdi
@Rargon
Re: Review: Game & Watch Gallery 2 (3DS eShop)
@eleven59
Re: Nintendo Download: 10th May 2012 (North America)
@TauuaT
Uhh, hate to tell you this, but you're serching on the wrong device. Both Monster World IV and Wonder Boy in Monster Land are on the Wii Shop Channel. Not the 3DS.
Re: Kirby's Dream Land 2 Reaches Europe Next Week
@TheDreamingHawk
Re: Kirby's Dream Land 2 Reaches Europe Next Week
@eleven59
Not fun.
Re: Nintendo Download: 10th May 2012 (North America)
@DrDaisy
Re: Nintendo Download: 10th May 2012 (North America)
YES PLEASE!
Re: Kirby's Dream Land 2 Reaches Europe Next Week
@Rargon
Re: Nintendo Download: 10th May 2012 (North America)
@Marioman64
No bro. You misunderstood ENTIRELY. Monster World IV is for the Wii VC. Not in the eShop.
Re: Nintendo Download: 10th May 2012 (North America)
@Mickeymac
You missed the point I was getting at in my last post. I was only trying to explain to Dodger what Kirby's Block Ball is like. That way, if he ever played a game like Alleyway for example, he would know what I was getting at is all.
Re: Kirby's Dream Land 2 Reaches Europe Next Week
@ShadJV
Be lucky we here in the US will be getting Kirby's Block Ball next week man. It's better than not getting anything with the way how we been treated with no GB, GBC or GAME GEAR games as of late. I'm actually looking forward to Kirby's Block Ball next week.
Re: Nintendo Download: 10th May 2012 (North America)
@Dodger
Re: Nintendo Download: 10th May 2012 (North America)
Re: Nintendo Download: 10th May 2012 (North America)
@dark-insanity
Re: Kirby's Dream Land 2 Reaches Europe Next Week
Re: Nintendo Download: 10th May 2012 (North America)
@GeminiSaint
