Project X Zone, the intriguing RPG-strategy title that features a crossover of characters from Capcom, SEGA and Namco Bandai, appears to be getting plenty of hype ahead of its release in Japan this year. Information is slowly being revealed through the title's blog page, and the lovely people over at Andriasang have translated some of the details.
As well as confirmation that 90 voice actors have been recorded, suggesting at least that many characters, there will apparently be over 45 songs in the title. There will be songs for each character or, more likely, songs from each game being featured, as well as some original compositions being prepared for specific scenarios and field maps.
If you want a taster of the kind of music being written, visit the home page of the official Project X Zone website: it certainly got us unreasonably excited about this one's potential. If any word comes out on a potential worldwide release, we'll let you know.

Just checked out that video on the website and... o
[I'll be back in a minute...]
It's being developed by Monolith - its gonna be epic!!
OK not really into strategy titles, but seeing that picture where a super deformed Ryu and Ken are doing a combo Hadouken makes me want this game. I really hope it comes to the Western world!
Guile Theme?
Better show up in the good ol' USA. Has Reggie released his usual statement of "we'll see how it goes in Japan, then Europe, and then wait for people to complain for a while until we decide to bring it here", yet?
Oh man! I REALLY NEED this game!
Over 90.00!!
While I know Namco Bandai has a bit of a reputation for not localizing their games, Capcom and Sega usually give us the goods so please bring this here!
This is the sort of game that would have made a headline or two if it was announced for a western release at E3. I really want this game.
Hopefully Guile's Theme is there
Guile's Theme goes with everything
@Bass_XO What 90.00?!?
fingers crossed for sonic and eggman
There isn't a hope in hell of this game making it to the west, so I'll just be here weeping my head off
90 characters? I hope that means we'll see more characters from game series that are already being represented in it. Mainly because I want to see some ToS and/or TotA characters.
@ajcismo Namco Bandai, Sega and Capcom is behind this, not Nintendo (although one of their first-party studios are developing it).
Guile's theme or no buy.
That's all I am saying.
Oh please come to America.
Klonoa, Arthur, guile,Espeo, Ulala, zero,Seth, the ghost trick guy, miles edgeworth, Nights, and some Okami characters would be nice
@Xilef
Hopefully Namco Bandai will remain the publisher here in the States then.
come to NA with DLC
@LordOtakWiiU ulala is in this one
If this game has Sanger Zonvolt, it also need Elzam von Branstein aka Ratsel Feinschmecker and Trombe lol.
Praying for this to come over to the EU.
Okay, let me get this straight...Capcom, Sega, and Namco are having a massive crossover game...AND SONIC HASN'T BEEN CONFIRMED YET?! Come on, Sega! He's like, one of the most popular characters in gaming and you haven't announced him for this game yet?! Even a Megaman is making it into this game! Sorry, guys, but this ain't no dream crossover without Sonic the freakin' Hedgehog in it.
(...then again, maybe they thought he'd overshadow the other characters, but Capcom doesn't seem to be worrying about that...)
Wow
Localization please.
@Wamtu honestly, that really isn't the case so much these days. I know that there are quite a few series represented in this game that sell better than Sonic now, at least here in Japan.
@Knuckles Voice actors.
Its a lame joke.
@Knuckles Yeah, I don't get it either. Maybe its a cultural thing?
GRRRR i want this game so so so so!!!!!!!!!!!!! BAD! it need the tales of vesperia opening music without words or with idc
Wow....unique yet it has the potential to turn into a great game. I'll be watching this one for sure.
Hey, what happened to the "Bad, bad game" guy?
