I haven't really played platformers since the 64 era but this does look fun! The speed and style approach adds a lot more to the monotony of just collecting a bunch of coins for the sake of collecting them.

Im pretty sure just the happenings around the world is enough to ensure it won't sell as much. Hard time to sell games between WW3 with ever increasing cost of living to the point a good chunk of people living at the very low end will be homeless this time next year.

I mostly only did trade ins with a mom and pop shop growing up, even if the trade in value still wasn't great it was a cool environment and the lady was nice and would reserve games for me or knock a couple bucks off since I was there once a month like clockwork.

Cool. Doubt I'll reinstall it if it's some small DLC update though. Can't say the story resonated with me much as it was rather cliche outsider drivel with a bit of agenda sprinkled on, but man they nailed that platforming even if I could never finish all the bonus stages because it's just ridiculously hard.

But yeah people complaining about the screen... obviously they're going to release the cheap one first. They know the fan base will buy the same console multiple times over the smallest changes or a different color plastic. Can sell 2 or more to them by starting off with the less desirable screen then releasing an OLED a year later.

Noooo. What a bummer! They really made cool little games. Ruined King was one of the first RPGs I finished in awhile. Was hoping Jinx would get her own game maybe around season 2 of Arcane...I guess not.
