This article is missing the entire point of why people are rating it a 0. People feel like they have no other recourse to try to coerce nintendo in to fixing the mistake. If people rated it by the first-player experience only nintendo would never realize there is a problem.. Nintendo would go about saying "Wow this game is getting great scores; We made an other successful AC!" and they would never fix their mistake and they would continue to make the same greedy decisions in future ACs or even other games.. What if they decide to do the same thing for pokemon games in the future, to where only ONE person can play PER CONSOLE? Should they also rate it by only the 1st-player experience and ignore that no one else can play with out buying an other switch?
And by the way, many of the ratings of 0 or 1 or 2 ARE accurate ratings IF you are rating the game by its entertainment value of being player 2 through 8.. If you are playing as player 2 through 8 you can literally do hardly ANY THING in the game except decorate a house and pick up sticks and bugs.. Many people rating the game literally CAN'T play it as 1st player because some one else in their family is already 1st player, so what are they supposed to rate it? Their experience is 100% gimped as 2nd player..
I pre-ordered the DQ switch which comes with the "gorgeous edition" of the physical game which comes with some extra DLC content i guess.. So I'll be waiting for that to ship before I play it at all.. I've already played it for several hours last year on the 3DS any way but stopped when I found out a switch version was coming out..
lol microshaft will never have the games that nintendo has..
Also, what a blatant rip-off.. And yeah I know gamevice and other things made detachable controllers before switch did, but do you really think that is what microsoft is copying? Nope, they are making these detachable controllers now because switch has them and they want in on the action that the switch is soaking up right now..
Nintendo probably didn't want to increase processing power because it would leave people with the old switch feeling ripped off.. They will probably just wait to do any ordained processing power improvements when the switch pro comes out..
Nintendo isn't deleting your saves offline....It is ACTUALLY data that it is having trouble saving because it wasn't made to save/load some types of glitches.. The save system expects a certain format and makes some assumptions about the level when saving, and when those assumptions are broken, the level data can become unreadable for that save/load system..
I'm working on my 1st level.. Hey nintendo if you listen to comments, make it so you can zoom out further and still edit the level!.. I like the 3rd zoom level when you click the R stick, but it doesn't let you edit in that zoom level! The other 2 zoom levels where you CAN edit feel way too zoomed-in for me..
The problem is probably real, but I only used my joycons for a couple of weeks until I got a pro-controller, and have never really used the joycons since then.. Only game I have that requires joycons is mario party.. I guess not every one can be as rich as me though and afford a pro-controller.. And yeah would be kind of crappy if some one gets a switch lite and this were to start happening..
I wouldn't want to trade my special edition (i have the monster hunter switch) for a normal switch.....But if the dragon quest switch is the mariko version (which it looks like it is so far) maybe I could get that.. But really I don't need to do that since I play in docked mode 99% of the time.....Maybe I'll just wait until the switch pro or whatever comes out eventually..
