I'm a member of Jen's Nintendo North Wales group and through StreetPass UK/Nintendo Players UK I've made some great friends over the last ten years.
I've been fortunate to travel around the country to different NPUK groups and various events, even visiting Nintendo's UK HQ in Windsor to play Splatoon 2 and Mario Odyssey before they came out.
I also write about indie games I adore for the NPUK website as it gives me a chance to share my love of some of the obscure (and not so obscure) titles on the eShop.
Nintendo should get credit for the support they provide the community. We're technically an unofficial group but their community managers have been brilliant in helping NPUK grow.
I wholeheartedly recommend finding your nearest group and going along for their events and if you don't have one nearby then just contact NPUK and offer to set one up.
Wave Race 64 has the purest controls as you can play it entirely one handed. I'm really glad I got the N64 controller for the Switch when it was briefly back in stock just to get the proper experience for playing this.
Blue Storm was such a step up graphically that when it started to chuck it down in game I'd actually shiver as it felt cold.
Whichever is your favourite we can all agree we're long overdue a sequel to this and 1080°
@DarkTron It's possible to get information about a Direct from a source that isn't Nintendo. For example a third party developer whose game features in the Direct.
There's a perfume advert with Keira Knightley in it which has music that reminds me of the Obra Dinn music and every time the advert comes on I look up and I'm disappointed it's not the Obra Dinn.
Rumour says a big brick-built Bowser in the set. The release date of October will be for general retail, it should come to Lego stores and their website from July 1st.
@RupeeClock Yeah the 18+ refers to the more prestige line of sets Lego makes. They're bigger, more expensive, have more difficult builds and come in the sleeker looking black design boxes. It's the acknowledgement of AFOLs (Adult Fans Of Lego)

Re: Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition Release Date Could Be Revealed Soon, As Switch 2 Rating Spotted
What are the in-game purchases when the DLC is already included?
Re: 'Rumble Has Been Turned Off Due To Prolonged Use'? Don't Worry, Your Switch 2 Joy-Con Probably Aren't Broken
It's happened for me twice in Cyberpunk during sustained firefights. The first was when using a turret like continuous fire.
The rumble resumes after about 10 seconds without any need to do something to turn it back on.
Re: Elden Ring On Switch 2 Will Introduce Two Brand New Character Classes
The Switch 2 Tarnished Edition does contain Shadow Of The Erdtree. It says so on the official site.
Re: Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom Has Surpassed 10 Million Sales In Three Days
It's already outsold all Zelda games except Link's Awakening, Ocarina Of Time and BOTW.
Re: The Jurassic Park Games Are Getting A 30th Anniversary Retro Collection
RKG did a series on YouTube where they played every Jurassic Park game (there are a lot of them) it's worth watching.

Here's to another 10 years.

Re: Backlog Club: July - If You Haven't Played Hollow Knight Yet, Here's Your Chance
Accidentally started a playthrough on GamePass after already having beaten it twice on Switch. Have got 105% on Xbox now.

Re: Backlog Club: Week Zero, June - Return Of Backlog Club, Return Of The Obra Dinn
Return Of The Obra Dinn is fantastic, though I do have some loose ends to tie up in the journal. I wrote about the game with NPUK https://nintendoplayers.uk/news/community-article-indie-insights---return-of-the-obra-din/ Game Maker's Toolkit on YouTube did a good video about it too.

Re: Feature: The Best Hidden Gems And Overlooked Switch Games Of 2020
Lair Of The Clockwork God should be on this list, funniest game I've played this year and competes with Horace in the Britishness stakes.
Re: Lair Of The Clockwork God Blends Point-And-Click And Platforming On Switch Next Week
I've been waiting for this to come to the Switch. Looks great and Beyond The Kickmen was very funny so I have high hopes.
