Nintendo Japan will host another of its Nintendo Direct internet broadcasts tomorrow at 8pm Japan time (11am GMT / 6am EST / 3am PST).
Nintendo president Satoru Iwata will discuss the latest Wii and 3DS developments, so you never know what we might see. The last broadcast, on 27th December, showcased Fire Emblem: Kakusei and Kid Icarus: Uprising; what will Nintendo show off tomorrow?
We can't imagine why Nintendo has chosen 22nd February 2012 to promote 3DS and Wii. The possible reason just escapes us.
You can bookmark this page to watch the event as it happens, and visit here for news, of course.

They'll announce they've bought a chip churning monkey that can produce quantum computers at lightning speeds for the cost of a mere banana a day. WiiU for 10 bucks, launching next month.
Mark my words.
Definitely going to announce the 3DS Vitality Sensor.
I sure hope this has something to do with that upcoming Pokemon announcement.
How strange they do this show on the day the PS Vita lauches.
Coincidence? I don't think so.
New Pokemon.
@thedanman64 But it's a Japanese broadcast and the Vita is already out in Japan...
ExciteBots for Europe, yaaayyy!
Tons of new games for the Wii Virtual Console including TMNT< X_Men and Simpsons!!!!!!!!
Hey a guy can dream!
did anyone else get a swapnote from Reggie about this?
You get a swapnote from Reggie because he is going to be hosting a nintendo direct here: http://www.nintendo.com/nintendo_direct tomorrow at 6am PST/ 9am EST. It is unknow if this will be the same information as the Japanese one. Knowing nintendo, Reggie will most likely not be delivering bigger news than than the Japanese one. I think this could possibly be about a name change for the wii u, because they said they would keep you informed up til e3, and this will be about the 3ds ( not so much about the wii if they announce a different name for the wii u).
Localisation of Earthbound as well as a new game in the series! Oh, Nintendo, you do spoil us!
It's NOT going to be about Pokemon. Game Freak lets CoroCoro and Pokemon Smash do their announcements. Nintendo themselves have never made Pokemon announcements first.
@Hejiru Thats exactly what I was thinking. This will not be about pokemon because they are suposed to announce that on Sunday according to a rumor.
I think more information about the update with DLC
Finally, Reggie is coming up to show off his chin!
the shininess
A bit of a pity that it doesn't air the same time as the last one. Loved watching it live in the early morning.
@erv I wish.
@thedanman64 Haha, why else? Smart move if you ask me.
Well, it's a nice date: 22-2-2012. All those 2's
Hopefully, we'll get some more info about Animal Crossing, Paper Mario and Luigi's Mansion 2!
Um, you all do realize this is gonna focus on Japan, right? I doubt Iwata himself would announce some localization
It's gotta be pretty big news if Japan and America (dunno about Europe) are both doing this tomorrow
hopefully they'll announce some new wii and 3DS titles. i'm doubtful they'll give anything away with regards to the wii U, as i think nintendo will do that in E3.
new 3DS hardware with built-in dual sticks.
kekekekekeke
its on the same day as the sony ps VITA launch day
May get up before 6 am to see this since I can't watch the USA one since it starts at 9 am EST (when I start work)....but I don't know if it will do me any good since it will all be in Japanese!
I think it has to be something that a VITA buyer will hear and cause them not to buy a VITA but rather, dish it out for the 3DS.. right? What could that be? Maybe a new version of the 3DS? with specs that match more of the VITA? not processor but possibly battery life being better and also 3rd party game support similar to vita?
It's not because of the vita, it's because it's my birthday and Iwata San wanted to formally send me a gift of a mario themed 3ds. crossing fingers
oh and because I haven't mentioned this wild theory of mine in a long time:
nintendo Phone!!!
@123akis I thought the Vita was launching on December 21st 2012.
Anyone else rememeber the hint about Swapnote improvements...
