The latest issue of Famitsu has a page-sized teaser for what appears to be a new Tingle game for the DS. Logic assumes that this will be a sequel to his 2007 RPG, Freshly-Picked Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland, which was only released in Japan and Europe.
As it's just a teaser advertisement that's really all there is to say about it - There's no information or screenshots at all, sorry! We expect Nintendo will formally announce the game soon enough, however.
In the meantime you'll just have to stare at the Famitsu ad until some info surfaces (Note: The text simply says Fairy?):

It's the Nintendo version of Sexy Poker.
Instead of woman, you gamble Tingle's clothes. Meaning you only have to win over his spandex suit. Wow, that would be a bestseller
Oh goodie, another game the US won't get.
@Chicken Brutus and GabeGreens: enter a special code after beating Tingle and you get to play against Barkle!
I'm going to say Tingle Balloon Fight for DSiWare though the top left corner saying Nintendo Ds kind of puts doubt on that...
NO!!!!!
Rupeeland was honestly a great game, North Americans don't know what they're missing out on
Well I liked Rosy Rupeeland. It was quite a fun game until near the end where it just felt incredibly repetitive.
Anybody know of a good place where I can import a European copy of Rosy Rupeeland?
No thanks. I'll pass.
@Kidpit: Try E-Bay, the price isn't too bad at the moment, but it'll be one of those games that'll increase in price over time since it never came out over here.
I enjoyed Rupeeland, had to import it myself as it came to Europe but not Australia.
I doubt it's related to Rupeeland, they had a completely different backstory for Tingle there (or just a completely different Tingle), in MM he dressed like that because he thought he was a Kokiri but in Rupeeland he's put into the outfit to make profits. In MM he's more creepy and immature, in Rupeeland he strikes me more as vicious (look at his evil laughter whenever he makes a good deal) and somewhat gullible (come on, the whole beginning of the story sounds like a nigerian scam!).
Good to see Tingle getting some more credit, but to NL mods, why do new articles sometimes go below older ones. For example, the SSB for VC was on this site before this Tingle news, but yet SSB is first. Why is that?
Bahamut: Simple, the two articles were written in short succession, but obviously Super Smash Bros. is big news, so we kept it on top.
I'll pass
Tingle is my least favorite Zelda character. I was glad he was not in Twilight Princess
@Tony:
OR WAS HE??
Rumor has it that the guy who runs the little carnival attraction in town is a "real life Tingle." I think one of the devs actually made a comment to that effect. Did I just ruin the game for you?
@Chicken Brutus: I thought that guy was creepy...
@Kidpit. Adding to the advice offered by chunky_droid it is best to be somewhat cautious of eBay. Bootlegs are extremely prevenant (and just like the GBA era they are unreliable) and sometimes the only way to find out is once they arrive (don't work on DSi, instruction manual of gibberish, poor quality are obvious signs). Usually though these sellers will offer refunds (at which point you accept and once your money is back you contact Nintendo with details).
If you're prepared to pay that bit extra these people are worth a try:

Of course its always best to scout arround to find the best deal...
I always wanted Rosy Rupeeland! I heard that it was a really good game! I held out hope that it would one day get released in the US but no such luck. You folks in Europe are lucky, I envy you! Hopefully I'll be able to find myself a copy online.
Hmm I hope this one ges over to Europe aswell
oh and about TIngle in TP I always guessed that he was gonna be but they replaced him with that girl who you trade the bugs to... but that was just my guess, nothing official
I had to import Rosy Rupeeland because most Americans just don't know what's good (that's my story, and I'm sticking to it)! I think I used eBay (been a while, so I'm not 100% sure). If I did, it was an eBay Buy it Now store-type seller. New, factory-sealed genuine copy cost me about $50 including shipping. No idea how exchange rates have changed since then, though.
So if they do make another Tingle game, it'd better be regular DS (region-free) and released in Europe again so I can play it!
ANOTHER game NA wont get?
I really should get around to importing Rosy Rupeeland, I've been hoping to play it for a couple of years now.
I really wish they'd bring the first one to the U.S.
It looks like the kind of weird, trippy game that I like
@ Malnin, you shouldn't worry unless you have a DSi. If you don't have a DSi then it should work in your North American DS.
Yes! I love Tingle!
@wollmaster. Even if you do have a DSi it'll still work. Regular DS cards have no region coding in them. The whole DSi being reiogn locked refers to the shop and possibly DSi enhanced and DSi only games (won't know until they come out).
Go away Tingle... Be gone!
Thanks Chunky Droid and Star Wolf, I'll be sure to check those sites out.
