I really really want this to come to Europe too, I will definitely buy it on the day of release! It's weird that it hasn't yet because Gamebridge usually always publishes in Europe. And I agree - it probably doesn't need much localisation. I think BASIC uses English in any language anyway, only the instructions will need to be translated.
I really, really want this! It's been my lifelong dream to make video games, and I know I have the motivation to learn how to with this program! European release, please... it'll be an instant buy for me!
That's a big shame, considering this game was originally being made exclusively for WiiWare! Also it's quite amusing that they used that music, as it was a minor fad on YouTube a while back... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qxLDcmHSEyw
Ahh, cool! So this has been confirmed for a European release but not an American one yet? Thanks to Nintendo of Europe, I'm happy to live here for once in my life!
I'm glad many people are mentioning Xenoblade in the comments, because it's the best Wii game ever in my opinion! And Eternal Darkness should be in the GC top 10 too...
I like the Mega Drive version of Street Fighter II: Special Champion Edition, including the music, but they really messed up the sound in The New Challengers! Here's how it should sound! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4feZtw4pRVk
Hehehe, I'm glad this overrated game got a 6 from you guys, even though it's getting a lot of negative feedback in the comments! In my opinion the only fun thing about it is Sonic's first stage, City Escape. After that it's all downhill...
If people are wondering how Super Mario Land 2 is, I can give my opinion, having played the Game Boy version to death. It is fun and has a nice variety of areas, and is a lot more Mario-like than SML1. However, I feel that until the final level, it's too easy, and that makes it feel quite short as you blast through it. It's certainly longer and more varied than SML1, and, say, the first Mega Man Game Boy game (don't get me wrong, I love that game, and every other one in the GB series, except for the second one), though of course the difficulty is completely the opposite of that.
Lots of Nintendo bashing going on at this Nintendo-based website! It's like the Sonic fanbase or something! (Referring to the comments, not the articles, by the way) Personally I'm in love with Nintendo right now - because I live in England, and Nintendo of Europe localised Xenoblade and Solatorobo.
I own a DS and PSP. Despite what people say, the PSP has a lot of good games. Which system I like the most depends on what mood I'm in and what sort of games I want to play. I will say that a lot of Nintendo's games might seem like they're for kids to the Sony guy, but really they appeal to people of all ages.
Wish people would stop complaining it's UK only. Do you know how much of a pain games have been here in the past (slow, letterboxed PAL) and still are sometimes (games being released here later, some not being released at all)? =P
You could also check out the GBA version, which has some extras, including a run button! There's a patch that restores the music to its original SNES quality as well!
This isn't a port of the PlayStation game, it's a totally different game known as Metal Gear: Ghost Babel that got retitled for the Western market, which confuses people.
The game does save your progress, but for some reason it's hidden away. When you have 'Game Start' highlighted on the title menu, hold right on the d-pad. Now you can choose your level from the ones you've been to!
These are interesting games (though I can't play the third one, two-players only) but I wouldn't say they're worth the 200 points and 45 blocks. They're very short and there's not really any benefit to having them on the go. Unless you think the creator deserves the money, I'd say just stick with the free PC versions.
I don't understand why Nintendo re-released this version, with the badly translated script and missing features... If you don't fancy using an emulator and a fan translation patch, I recommend the GBA version, though it has some glitches and slowdown (most of which was fixed in the European version - yay!).
