Review Alt-Play: Jason Rohrer Anthology
Real art style
Jason Rohrer has made a name for himself in the art game sphere with numerous small and thought-provoking PC games. To kick off their Alt-Play compilation series, Sabarasa has pulled together a collection of three of his most notable releases so far in the Jason Rohrer Anthology: Passage, Gravitation and Between. About The Game
Alt-Play brings the best of independent gaming to Nintendo DSiWare, introducing players to some of the most unique experiences this medium has to offer.
In this compilation, award-winning game auteur Jason Rohrer’s work comes to the Nintendo DSi, including three of his best games to date: Passage, Gravitation and Between.
The deep themes contained and the manner in which they are presented in Rohrer’s work helps to blur the line between what we consider art and games, evoking thoughts and emotions rarely associated with gaming.

They are free on PC, so a NO BUY for me.

They are 200 points for goodness sake. It's fantastic to see passage opened up to a wider audiance.
These are interesting games (though I can't play the third one, two-players only) but I wouldn't say they're worth the 200 points and 45 blocks. They're very short and there's not really any benefit to having them on the go. Unless you think the creator deserves the money, I'd say just stick with the free PC versions.
Score one for the "Games as Art" crowd.
I already have two out of three of these games on my computer (Linux, ftw), so a download is looking unlikely (plus, I spent my last 200 points on Sudoku...and no, I don't regret it). If you buy them, I'd say buy them in the same spirit as you would a painting to hang around your house or an artsy film for your collection (Waking Life, ftw).
Now, a Kenta Cho Anthology would be pretty sweet.

I downloaded this...It is too weird for me...Maybe I just don't get it?!
