How about 1,001? That's what's on offer in 1001 Blockbusters, the next DSiWare game due from Teyon and Selectsoft.
The stack of power-ups — including magnetic paddles, protective walls and fiery and thorny balls — should hopefully keep things relatively fresh over the 1,001 levels of block-breaking that make up this 200 Point download that's out on 13th October.
October 2011, San Mateo, CA—Selectsoft, a leading developer of family-friendly games, announces 1001 BlockBusters for the Nintendo DSiWare™ service! Enjoy classic gameplay, amazing 3D graphics and surprising bonuses as you smash through 1001 levels of blockbusting excitement. Use the stylus to catch, bounce and bust balls through complex 3D constructions in 4 eye-popping worlds: Stone Age, Ancient Greece, Candy World and Fantasy Forest. Beat your best score by collecting wild powerups, including weapons, magnetic paddles, shields and more. But watch out for hidden hazards and booby traps—unless you like extra-small paddles and crazy camera angles!
Think you've seen the ultimate brick-breaking game? Think again! With over a dozen bonuses, 300 kinds of blocks and 1001 incredible 3D levels, 1001 BlockBusters is non-stop, no-holds-barred, action-packed fun! 1001 BlockBusters was developed in partnership with Teyon, and will be available on the Nintendo DSi™ Shop on October 13, 2011 for 200 Nintendo DSi Points™.

I have a feeling we should stick with AlphaBounce...
This actually looks...ok. Much better than I was expecting with that name. And it looks like the levels are actually unique, rather than randomised like those in AlphaBounce. Still not enough to persuade me to get it, but it at least looks like a fair amount of effort was put into this.
Sold, looks different & great, the price is awesome and it can't be any worse than Alpha bounce. I just became addicted to these style games since Breakout DS and Arkanoid DS with the power ups, but the one on Midnight Play (US) will give it a run for thier money... the best I've played yet...
Didn't know there was a time period called "Candy World" between Stone Age and Ancient Greece. Silly me.
Well, if it's any less glitchy than AlphaBounce, it could probably compete.

That's sure a different angle of play for a break-away game. I didn't really care for AlphaBounce. I wonder if I'd like this one more?
Unfortunately for Teyon....1001 ain't sh*t. Doesn't Alphabounce have like.....10,000 or more? They chose the wrong type of game to try and flaunt 1000 levels
EDIT: Just read that it actually has 25 million o_O....Yeah, sorry Teyon...your game's level count is peanuts compared to Alphabounce!
"amazing 3D graphics"
You lie that's not stereoscopic.
Is it just me or does the ball seem a little sluggish in the video? It seems okay though some of the levels seem kind of bland like the fantasy forest levels.
@fchinaski
Who knew there was one called Fantasy Forest after those three? Learn something new everyday.
This looks okay. A little less boring the zillions of other brick breakers out there, at least.
Thorny balls. He he he
for every level in this game, theres 24975 levels for alphabounce
its 2 bucks.. what you expect for 2 bucks
still tempted to get this day one but dont know if i will make the trip to download it
