The game being in 50Hz isn't as much of a problem as I think some people are making out. Sure, it's disappointing that it hasn't been converted to 60Hz for anyone who hasn't played the original, but as someone who has, I'm used to it. Won't stop the game from playing either - apparently, as long as SNES (VC) games or GC discs play fine on your TV, this will too.
I'm playing through The Lost Age at the moment - recently completed the first as well - and I'm very much looking forward to this. I would certainly hope it's not too short and not too easy - how long is it, out of interest? - and I'm not too fussed about the lengthy dialogue and time spent outside battles, since that's one of my favourite things about the first two games anyway. I would certainly hope we get a fourth title somewhere down the line as well.
Actually - in a conversation I've already had with ONM - the game launches in the UK on 4 February. Everywhere else in Europe, yes, it launches 28 January, but the UK gets it a week later.
@LuWiiGi It's not just about the graphics, though. Some people's televisions, such as mine (potentially), won't play 50Hz games at all under some circumstances. Never mind the graphics, this decision will render the game unplayable to some.
I still don't know if I'll be able to play it, but I'm getting it regardless. If it doesn't work, I'll shout at Nintendo of Europe until it does.
So... see, my television won't play some 50Hz games from the Virtual Console. The ones where you can use the button combination to "convert" them to 60Hz, they play fine, but the others won't play. Does this mean this game won't play on my TV either?
A demo of one of the Mega Man games would be amazing. Or another one of the BIT.TRIP games, the demo for the first was great. I'd love some Art Style demos as well, really wanna try them out but never been brave enough to buy one.
Is this game ever going to come to the Virtual Console? 'Cos I'd love to play it. And for some reason, I have an overwhelming urge to shout Barbra Streisand at the top of my lungs...
I am so pleased you guys have got Flashlight. I just wish it was possible to relive the excitement we felt when we got it, because we'll never feel that again.
Given the fact that this got a 9/10, along with many other positive reviews to back it up... I absolutely cannot understand why Nintendo of Europe won't release it in the UK and Europe.
I'm actually slightly disappointed that Nintendo and Team Ninja would let this happen. I doubt Retro Studios would have let it out knowing that such a game-breaking bug was so easily encountered.
Can't believe people are moaning about laziness, cost etc. This is a piece of gaming history right here, the single best way of celebrating Mario's 25th birthday in my opinion. If ever it comes over to the UK, I'll be getting two.
Oh, come on! It's been out for four days! Wait another seven days and you can guarantee it'll be in the top five.
Edit: Well, it's only been Fri-Sat-Sun really, the charts only came out this morning. So yeah, the fact that, really, it's already #12 can only be a good thing.
I think Nintendo's made an error somewhere - they published a Nintendo DSiWare showreel to the Nintendo Channel (UK) not long ago which firmly stated that these three applications would be available for 200 Nintendo DSi Points each. Clearly an error on their part, since we know they're 500 each and not 200, but that needs fixing, methinks.
I did enjoy Star Fox Adventures but it didn't do the Star Fox series any favours whatsoever. Look at it now.
I prefer to remember Rare as the developer that they used to be: Donkey Kong Country is still one of my favourite games as is Blast Corps, but their newest projects just don't seem to get anywhere near the same amount of attention. I'm afraid I can't see Rare lasting much longer, especially since they've been lined up for Kinect.
Hang on, this never got released in Oceania?! What a complete an utter injustice. Somebody throw Nintendo of Australia out NOW and get a new team in, please.
@ExploderReviews - This is the fifth title in the series so it won't launch in North America and Europe until the end of 2012. There are still two DS titles to launch from the series - Unwound Future this year and Specter's Flute in 2011.

Re: MotoHeroz
I've recently heard that this is being published by Nintendo, any more on that?
Re: Review: Super Mario All-Stars 25th Anniversary Edition (Wii)
Personally, I think this is harsh, but each to their own. Certainly a controversial piece of kit.
Re: Art of Balance
Just tried the demo out and I really enjoyed it - think I'll be getting this one at some point for sure.

Re: Review: Airport Mania: First Flight (WiiWare)
I actually have 500 Wii Points spare from when I bought Sonic 4, and I love this kind of game, so I'm seriously considering this.
Re: Review: FlingSmash (Wii)
I had such high hopes for this as well. Let's hope we see a Wii Remote Plus bundle go on sale with Skyward Sword.
Re: Review: We Sing! Robbie Williams (Wii)
What a shame they never listened...
Re: Unravel Kirby's Epic Yarn in Europe on February 25th

Re: Jedward: The New Face Of Nintendo UK
@Sean007s Oh, Microsoft's got Bieber? This isn't so bad, then. Just as long as Sony gets someone equally odd, Nintendo'll be fine!
Re: Mario Collection Special Pack Coming to Japan
So this has SMB, both versions of SMB2, and SMB3. Right?
Re: Jedward: The New Face Of Nintendo UK
The worst decision Nintendo has made in a very, very long time.
Re: Practise Your Balancing with PHYSIO FUN Tomorrow
At that price, surely it'd be better to release it as a retail title...?

Re: Art Academy Paints a Pretty Picture Inside UK Top Five
The moral of the story is: if Nintendo wants their games to sell, they just need to put an iddle-widdle cutesy-wutesy Yoshi on the pack front! <3
