Dude, if it is this "hybrid split console/handheld" thing and they release it like this, I think they could ease some of the fears of the thing launching to soon. If they release a handheld NX this year, well it's been already 5 years with the 3ds and we've had TONS of great games on the thing, so it's about time for a hand held. And then they release the console portion next year, that will kind of help it to smoothly transfer into that system.

Great read, I too am optimistic about 2016. For one, the new president, Tatsumi Kimishimi has been making statements over the past few months that kind of show he knows what he's doing, and is familiar with what gamers want. (Talking about how the NX will be a console for hardcore gamers and some other things) Secondly, we already know of a decent amount of games releasing: TP:HD, Zelda Wii U, Pokken Tournament, Star Fox, Mario and Luigi. And there's also the genuine hype of what this E3 has the potential to be, Since they are saying more about NX this year, it will probably be discussed there. Also, we should probably be FINALLY getting some hype info on Zelda U, which in itself for me is amazing. Cheers to a hopefully great new year for Nintendo and its fans!

Here's the thing, I gave the Wii U's output an outstanding souly because while there weren't many games to come out, the main ones that did (Splatoon and Mario Maker) consumed soooo much of time. Not to mention there's some extra points for how freaking creative Splatoon is. And Wooly World is great, just as good as Island.

For what ever reason, when I read "It's been a good run" and saw the Splatoon picture, for a split second I thought the servers were being shut down and had a heart attack. I know they would never do that this soon, but it's a morbid thought.

So wait I'm confused... I've never played a Fatal Frame game before but this looks really interesting but does this mean there isn't a physical version coming to the States? I really prefer physical copies of games so I was wondering if that's what this means.

Crap. Voted for the wrong thing on the last one. Mario Kart 8's DLC is awesome, but the costumes in Smash are the worst type of DLC. Just give us stages, items, or most importantly, characters.

Darn, when I called it says there are too many people calling customer support, so I couldn't get a customer help guy. Of course every is calling about Mewtwo codes, if they would've figured out how to send emails there would be no problem.

That's good so I guess you need to tell them your club nintendo information, right?

I'm gonna call customer service, some one I know just did that and it they got their codes.

I'm still waiting for my codes, and getting increasingly worried. God I hope I get them.

I've got a burning suspicion that all of us who haven't received the codes are going to get them tomorrow, stupidly.

Lol yep, almost anything Nintendo does business-wise or something that would normally be simple is garbage and over complicated. They make just incredible games, but man do they need to get some better people marketing, promoting, and doing simple smart things. Arg, the troubles of a Nintendo fan.

@Ralizah Dude, a combo of this article and your comment just got me like 30x better at Smash, well the 3ds version demo anyway. Honestly I've never really been good at Smash except Melee. But you got me thinking, by saying he has good ranged and close courters attacks. Now I'm playing as Link and man the bow is an AWESOME way to rack up percentages, then hit em with a few smash attacks.
