If you’d asked me last month, I’d say there’s a good chance of a Direct. Now that we went without on in September, I’m skeptical we won’t hear anything until next year.

Wow, so many negative comments. Phil thinking this can only mean good things for Nintendo fans. We could get some great collabs and ports, especially with future generations of hardware.

Can anyone confirm how many people can play online together at once? I've heard its only 2 which would be lame.

0 - 9%, because I'm waiting for a Master Mode/additional difficulty before going full completionist on this game.

Even the first 2 waves were too much. The game would be way more balanced and fun to play online without any of the DLC characters but I digress, Nintendo doesn't care about the competitive scene.

@Selim Not trying to be rude but if it's taking you an hour to kill a monster, you're doing it wrong. The hunts are shorter than ever in Rise taking roughly 10 - 20 minutes to complete.

@MS7000 @TeaCatherine Holy cow you're right. I totally forgot TP had a T rating.

I know ultimately it doesn't matter but a small part of me is disappointed the game isn't rated higher, haha. Would've been cool to speculate what a T for teen Zelda would look like.

I made the decision to always choose whatever Big Man is representing. I'm surprised (based on the colors) that Shiver isn't water and Big Man isn't grass though.

Why would anyone use these over the standard Split Pads? These seem like they’d be less comfortable.

@KnightsTemplar To each their own. I for one love the game and can't get enough news about it. The Gore Magala armor set is looking sick. I'm glad they paid homage to the original design.

With the Switch being my only console, I'm very interested in this. Unfortunately when trying to sign up on the website, it says it sends you a confirmation email but I never receive anything. Tried 3 times. =( Hopefully they figure it out.

@Devlind I'm kind of considering it... Guh. Achievements and Trophies just kind of stress me out, haha. Seeing all those things I haven't completed and need to in order to get 100%... Meh, we'll see. Maybe one day I'll get over myself and grab a series S.

@Total_Weirdo That's what I'm hoping for. Elden Ring is the only game that ALMOST has me wanting to buy a PS5 or Xbox. I'm just going to keep chugging along and hope some kind of remastered version comes out (like Dark Souls) for a future Nintendo console.

Nintendo has the chance to do something magical with this generation by creating a powerful enough, yet portable console that developers can port to. I really hope they capitalize on it.

So I was about to cancel my pre-order and then I watched the SwitchUp review that includes information post patch that came out recently. I highly recommend people watch that review before making up their mind. I love Nintendo Life but man, this entire review was done for someone who hasn't played Breath of the Wild yet. Of course you'd recommend BotW over this game, but that's not why most people are reading this review.

I really want this game but all the talk about not being able to invert the y-axis worries me. Did they ever add it?
