Today's 'Pokemon Presents' had a low-key build-up, but it did have some interesting reveals. The big news was that Gen 9 is coming this year, but interesting for the here-and-now is an update for Pokémon Legends: Arceus.
Going live today is version 1.1.0, which has been called 'Daybreak'. The big addition is a new investigation focused around 'mass outbreaks', while there'll also be additional battles to try out on the Training Ground. In addition there's a gift to claim with the code ARCEUSADVENTURE, which has lots of goodies.
It's pleasing to see more content pop up in Arceus for those that have already cleared it, while also expanding the adventure for the slower Trainers among us.
Are you planning to give this update a try?

A month too late for me to care to be honest. Once I'm finished with a single player RPG, I'm finished. Got too much else to play to jump back to old games each time they get a small content update so I much prefer when they just have all their content at launch.
Yay? Happy this game will get updates but that presentation gave me a bad taste
Not live yet but will update when available. Its a great game so hopefully adds some cool tasks
sees all the alpha Electrode
We are F******.
Anyway, this looks pretty interesting. I would've preferred for new Pokemon to be added from older gens but I will take this regardless (it's free after all).
Can we just talk about the fact they just spoiled you know who in the trailer?
@BenAV But you do care otherwise you wouldn't be here.
Loving this game so any free updates are just extra icing on top of an already very yummy cake.
@Specter_of-the_OLED
People can still talk about stuff even if they don't care about it. There's certainly nothing wrong with it.
This is nice but honestly I'm so disappointed they didn't announce DLC or any plans for it. I know it's too soon but still I've been enjoying this game so much I want more.
@Specter_of-the_OLED I mean that it's too late for me to care about playing it.
@Greatluigi who in the trailer?
You know...
Ingo
How do I spoiler tag stuff?
@Greatluigi [spoiler] do not put spaces here [spoiler]
Ooo nice, this nicely coincides with what I'm doing in the game. Having finished the story a couple weeks ago and completed the Pokédex last week, I'm currently shiny hunting with mass outbreaks. I'll be checking Twitter obsessively throughout the day to see when the update drops.
@Snatcher did it work?
So does this update just add a new quest? Or?
@Greatluigi you have to place your word in like this ingo again no spaces [spoiler]
So just copy and paste my spoiler bars outside your word with no spaces.when you do it right it will look like this [spoiler]ingo
@Greatluigi [ spoiler ] text here [ /spoiler ]
(no spaces)

Ok I did it. Thanks!
nerds, also i'm on the final boss of the game and could care less to Dark Souls that guy
I'm not finished with the game yet, as I need to complete my Pokédex, so this is a pleasant surprise. I still want to ace all the requests too.
@BenAV Did you just steamroll through to the credits? I'm ~90 hours in and only just started the post-game.
@Anachronism No. If anything I really took my time with it but still only got 30 hours out of it.
@BenAV At least it's free, even if you don't plan on jumping on it, you can still get it now if you ever decide to replay this one in the future. However, I hope we don't have another 'Mario Golf content updates' situation
A bit disappointed that they didn't work more on adding online battling
Pretty sad this is all they're giving us. More areas to explore would have been excellent. At least the new mainline games look excellent, if they're like Arceus but with towns and gyms then I can be patient.
Nice! I’m still working on my Pokedex. Not focused on the story currently. Love free updates.
I am no speed rush to finish...trying to get Alpha and shiny if they every appear and the cherium...that's such a pain in the butte.
@BenAV you seem to have a regularly bleak outlook on games and the events surrounding them. I find it curious that you would choose to take the lead spot on the replies just to point out how you are personally disaffected by something. For a lot of us games mean more than the few hours you can blitzkrieg through the core content, and feed drips like this are welcomed.
@OptometristLime Nup, I'd say I'm mostly pretty positive so you're wrong there. Just also not afraid to voice my opinion when I'm not a fan of something either.
I don't mind the model of adding more content later for multiplayer games that need to have an ongoing appeal to keep player numbers up but for single player games I want them to be as complete as possible when I buy them.
Nobody would have been worse off if this content was in the game when it first came out. You'd still be able to experience it all at your snail's pace if you choose.
@Uska TBH, I'm so happy this game doesn't have online battles because it would be a mess!
