@TiMMay333 games were not $87.98 in the US in the 90s. Maybe for you it was since, I don’t know, you’re from Canada? So if someone outside of Canada sees that ad, and they don’t know better, they may think “wow games were super expensive back then”

@TiMMay333 so I’m just saying it may be beneficial to note that those prices are CAD from the 90’s. There are a lot of localities represented, and leaving out where the ad is from can be interpreted several different ways. The point that games were expensive (and still are) is…not surprising?

@AndrosEGD yeah I’m not saying they were cheap, but to show an advert and making the assumption that’s in USD isn’t correct. I’ve always remembered $50-$60 +tax for new games going back to the mid-late 80s

Bought this game based on accolades and everyone losing their minds over it. Missed it on GameCube so maybe that’s part of it, but it was legitimately one of the worst games I’ve played in a while. I would say definition of over-hyped in my humble opinion
