Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge is right around the corner, due for release on Switch this week on June 16th.
As part of its marketing campaign, publisher Dotemu has shared a brand new track from the game's official soundtrack, featuring none other than Ghostface Killah and Raekwon, members of the iconic hip hop group Wu-Tang Clan.
You can check out the track itself via Dotemu's tweet below:
It certainly fits the theme of the game, we'll say that much! Our excitement is quickly reaching its peak now and we really can't wait to play it. In our recent hands-on session with the game, we came away feeling extremely positive about the experience:
"There are throwbacks galore, yes, but it also feels modern. Animation is smooth, though environments feel a little less interactive than in Streets of Rage 4, at least in these early stages. The speed is exciting, and though we were playing solo in our test time, it's a game that will no doubt shine in co-op. There was a lot to like in the demo, and it definitely left us wanting more."

Can this game get any cooler? 😄
This has been a tooouughhh wait but it’s so close and the closer it gets the more difficult the wait is. I’m double-dipping on this- I want that VHS tape case and pizza voucher AND I want to play it ASAP. Their tactic worked…
Just pre-ordered the game last night. So hyped.
The wait is almost over. Cannot wait to give this a spin.
Is it Thursday yet? Lol; honestly though I can’t wait for this game! Does anyone know if Shredder’s Revenge will have cross play?
This is perfect.
"We ain't Kangaroo's!"
Roll on Thursday!
I actually thought that the Cowabunga Collection would come first, but I'm so happy that we'll finally get to play this game this week.
Thursday we shred the Shredder.
They've got Tee Lopez on the soundtrack (Sonic composer) too. They seem to be doing everything right with this release! I just hope the online is lag free, if it is I'll definitely biy it on release day
This track has more drip than a broken ooze cannister.
blech, but this isn't for me, so hopefully turtles fans enjoy it.
Cool, but was vanilla ice busy or something?
Wu-Tang Forever! Wu-Tang is for the children.
Wu x Heroes in a Half Shell =
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
That sounds beyond awful. The music in the Konami Turtles games is iconic. It's catchy, clean, instantly likeable. This new track is truly terrible.
OMG this is THE GAME now
Wu - Wu - Wu - Wu - TANG!!!
Do you have a concert day you will post the review? The suspense is killing me.
@Paperboy Let me play as Shredder!
I know that it already proved to be more than worth it haha, but you asked how it could be cooler and that's my answer 😛.
I already have it pre-ordered, I can't wait!
@ramu-chan Yeah, well, that is like, your opinion, man.
I think the oldskool hiphop track with cheesy lyrics fits the vibe the 1987 always kinda had.
It is a lot better than 'Go ninja! Go!' by Vanilla Ice.
The ingame music sounds closer to the Konami games, this is propably an end credit song or a nice promo/bonus track.
Already pre ordered. As soon as get off from work this game will be the 1st thing I play.
Greatest music group are on this soundtrack?!
I already pre ordered, what else do you want from me?!
The TMNT×Wutang crossover YouTube vid for Da Mystery of Chessboxin' is one of the greatest videos on that entire website, so this is just about the greatest game news I've heard all year.
Jacques Cousteau could never get this low!
Ninja! Ninja! Rap!
UP FROM DA 36 CHAMBAAAAAAAHS
The generic hip-hop track in almost everything is getting extremely tiring to me.
I'm not usually a fan of rap being wedged into stuff (Mortal Kombat 11 trailer was terrible), but I don't hate this. It's adorably goofy.
