Just downloaded Retro City Rampage! I went through the trouble of buying it through my Wii and then transferring it to my Wii U. Gotta earn those Club Nintendo coins ^_^
Hm, what? That sounds unnecessary. If you are a Monster Hunter fan and you already own a 3DS and a Wii U, wouldn't it be logical to buy the Wii U version so you can play online? I wonder what the LAN adapter accomplishes that the 3DS hardware cannot.
I'm a big Aliens fan, so I'll probably pick this up when it's cheap. I'm holding out that the Wii U version will be tweaked enough to make it a (more or less) enjoyable experience.
If KR2 was a retail release, I would feel safe renting it or waiting until it hit the bargain bin. The eShop price of $59.99 is completely unjustified. Maybe we'll see a price drop or sale in the future.
I'm used to the stripped down features in the Wii CODs, so it's not really a big deal. The other day I dusted off my copy of 'World at War' and played some online matches, it's still a lot of fun
Just kidding. It's an absolutely forgettable game, you have to be a pretty big Castlevania fan to put up with it. Every single attack is done by shaking the Wii remote; my wrist was in pain for a week after a few sessions of this game.
I'm just happy the technology is finally on par with PS3/360. If 3rd party developers are willing to port games like this, I can definitely see a future for the Wii U.
There are plenty of people that would disagree with you, including myself. However, the problem with MMOs is when you're paying a subscription fee, you feel less inclined to play other games. I've found myself saying "I'm paying for this right now wether I play it or not, so I better be playing it". Then again, some MMOs are so much fun, the price is completely justified.
I don't get it, people have been waiting for a solid online experience for the Wii for as long as I can remember. But when the single player mode is dropped, everybody jumps ship?
No point in arguing I guess, but it's going to be awfully lonely playing online with people who, actually, want to pay for the full experience.
Great review, I'll have to pick it up sometime. Btw, has anyone played the Club Nintendo exclusive Game & Watch Collection (1+2) on the DS? Even though they have two G&W games each, they're pretty fun. I'd like to see a review of either version sometime _
I didn't know for a long time that this game is the "spiritual sequel" to Tail Concerto on the PS1. That's amazing, that little gem is one of my favorite games for the system.
I'm really excited for this game, but I'm pretty sure there won't be 80,000 uniquely designed weapons. More like a couple dozen weapons with randomized stats, right?
@mariofanatic128 the game is an action-rpg, more like Diablo than World of Warcraft (if that makes any sense).

Re: Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag is Confirmed For Wii U
Boy, these games sure are popular...
Re: Digimon World Re:Digitize Decode Coming To 3DS in Japan
I haven't played any of the "World" games besides the first one on PS1, but this sounds interesting.
Digimon & Pokémon can totally coexist on the 3DS

Re: Angry Birds Trilogy Flapping To Wii And Wii U This Year
No thanks, that ship has long since sailed.
Re: Wii U Version of Aliens: Colonial Marines Has Not Been Postponed

Re: Trailer: LEGO City Undercover: The Chase Begins Trailer Shows Its a Big World
Oof, that draw distance doesn't look good. However, it still looks like a lot of fun.
Re: Review: Fist of the North Star: Ken's Rage 2 (Wii U eShop)

Re: Developer States That Wii U Woes Were a Focus At DICE
I'm not worried.
Re: Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed Comparisons Are Favourable for Wii U
@C7_
I'm never going to get 100% completion because of numerous sticker glitches
Re: Nintendo Download: 7th February 2013 (Europe)
Hm, I thought "FotNs: Ken's Rage 2" would be getting a lot more attention. Maybe the price is off-putting for most gamers.
Re: Renegade Kid's Upcoming FPS Will Focus On Single Player
Hopefully it will have some StreetPass features. That would kind of make up for it being strictly single player.
Re: ZombiU Demo Coming To Wii U eShop
I would encourage everyone to go ahead and buy the game, demo or not.
Re: Castlevania: Mirror of Fate's Vocal Talent Has a Scottish Ring To It
Oh damn, I'm a huge DUNE fan. I point out Alec Newman to people whenever I get a chance.
Re: n-Space Not Happy With Heroes Of Ruin Sales Figures
Um... I liked it. I'm currently trying to get 100% completion for all of my characters.
Re: Nintendo Download: 18th October 2012 (North America)
It seems like a few people are buying Style Savvy. I can't imagine why, though
Re: Call Of Duty Elite Isn't Coming to Wii U at Launch
I'm used to the stripped down features in the Wii CODs, so it's not really a big deal. The other day I dusted off my copy of 'World at War' and played some online matches, it's still a lot of fun
Re: North America, Here Are Your 23 Wii U Launch Titles
Wipeout 3?!
Oh. Wait, it's just a lame party game and not a futuristic racer =(
Re: Matte Red and Matte Blue DSi Models Hit North America This Week
Psh, I was hoping for some new DSphat models.
Re: Out Now: Heroes of Ruin Lands in North America
I'm on board.
Re: Feature: Bizarre Emails Sent to Nintendo Life - Volume 5
Oh! You got my email. Why didn't you reply?
Re: You Shall Not Pass This LEGO Lord of the Rings Trailer
Yay! A video game based on a toy, based on a movie, based on a book.
Re: Metro: Last Light No Longer Confirmed for Wii U
But... That teaser trailer with zero gameplay footage looked so appealing!
Re: Feature: The Wonder of Ugly Add-Ons
No GBA e-Reader? I still have a bunch of those cards floating around my room. I honestly thought that thing was the future, I even preordered it o_o
Re: Review: Elite Forces: Unit 77 (DSiWare)
Huh, I was mildly interested in this one. But now I'm mildly disappointed.
Re: Review: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (Wii)
I love the Wii versions of CoD. Shake the nunchuck to reload!
Re: Review: Freakyforms: Your Creations, Alive! (3DSWare)
Funny how this game is primarily aimed at kids, but the 3D effects are discouraged for anyone under 7.
Re: Feature: Castlevania - The Terrifying Ten
Seriously, no Castlevania Judgement?!
Just kidding. It's an absolutely forgettable game, you have to be a pretty big Castlevania fan to put up with it. Every single attack is done by shaking the Wii remote; my wrist was in pain for a week after a few sessions of this game.

I love Free Games.
Re: Ubisoft: "Nobody Proved Wii Does FPS Controls Better"
It's a shame Conduit 2 doesn't get updated anymore...
Re: Site News: Nintendo Life's eShop Appearance
Kudos to you guys, that's a pretty big feat. Did Nintendo propose this?
Re: Nintendo Download: 15th September 2011 (North America)
I already own Mega Man on the original GameBoy, but I don't think I'll ever beat it without savestates... I might just have to repurchase it on my 3DS
Re: Review: DotMan (DSiWare)
You know, I'd still like to play it just to see how mediocre it is.
Re: Interview: Tanukii Studios - Go! Go! Kokopolo and Beyond
Great interview, I feel way more obligated to download this game now.

^ Agreed ^
Monster Hunter 3 in Japan is $8 monthly, $20 for three months.

Re: Rumour: Monster Hunter Tri G To Be Revealed Next Week
@Graph
You should, there's a reason why it's insanely popular. MH3 was my first try with the series and I have yet to put it down.

Re: Flame Red 3DS Leads Charge in New Video
Everything I want? Just because there's two Mario titles coming out this year?!
...Yeah, you're right Reggie.
Re: 3D Classics: Urban Champion Coming to Europe Next Week
I read somewhere that Fight Club was inspired by this game. True?
Re: Not n-Space's Decision to Develop Modern Warfare 3 for DS
A shame they're not developing a 3DS version, but I'll be playing it on my 3DS nonetheless.
Re: 3DS Gets Big Price Drop in Japan Next Month
Psh, whatever. It was worth the $250 for all the content the 3DS launched with. Right, Nintendo?
Right... Nintendo? ...hello?
Re: Heavy Fire Will Blow Up your 3DS
No thanks, none of those games look very good. I think light-gun games are on their way out in favor of first person shooters.
Re: Review: Game & Watch Gallery (3DS Virtual Console / Game Boy)
Great review, I'll have to pick it up sometime. Btw, has anyone played the Club Nintendo exclusive Game & Watch Collection (1+2) on the DS? Even though they have two G&W games each, they're pretty fun. I'd like to see a review of either version sometime _

Re: Review: Kirby's Dream Land (Game Boy)
I still have my copy on GameBoy, I wonder if I can still speed through it in 30ish minutes...
