@Gerald, thanks for letting me know Johnny Turbo was on sale. I picked up 6 new ones, both Joe & Mac games, Bad Dudes, Two Crude Dudes, Heavy Barrel and Nitro Ball. I already had Super Burgertime which I paid full price for when I wanted to play a burgertime game from the past. It’s a lot of fun and worth the discount price.
I don’t understand people who are complaining about the graphics as I watched a few videos of the game in action on YouTube for the switch and it looks pretty good and fluid to me. I went ahead and picked this up to support the developer, especially since he will be providing free future updates for tracks and cars. I would love to see the Costa Brava, Spain race included in a future update as I have driven this when I had my Porsche Boxster and would bring back some memories.
Game roms from the 80s should be in public domain if the original copyright owners are to lazy to update the games for modern consoles. I have bought many arcade archives, Konami collections, SNK 40th anniversary, etc... from those who have decided to rerelease them but for those who haven’t bothered there should be put into public domain for everyone to enjoy through emulation.
I picked up Dragonball Fighterz and really enjoying it despite not knowing anything about the Dragonball world. It’s a bit like Street Fighter Alpha on steroids, so if you like those types of fighting games you will enjoy this.
Why can’t they just put all of the arcade and console games (including G-Darius) into 1 version and sell it for €19.99 like Konami? I really don’t understand why these older games are being sold for crazy high prices.
The game isn’t much fun due to the poor track design. You are driving extremely fast trying to catch up with the leaders and then you crash into an indestructible blockage right in the middle of the track and you completely lose the race. For me it’s extremely frustrating and not a lot of fun.
The whole pricing and all of the necessary dlc that cost me even more really put me off from buying this game. Just sell me a complete game for a reasonable price and I will buy it.
Powerstone and Crazy Taxi were the reasons that I bought a Dreamcast back in 2000. I would love to see the Powerstone series brought to the Switch. Day 1 buy for me.
@Priceless_Spork Archon wasn’t Activision, it was Electronic Arts, but I agree Archon and Archon 2 we’re both great games. Gladius was great on the Xbox.
Nintendo should figure out how to share digital games across a family. Both Apple and Google have this feature in their ecosystems. Physical games are no problem to share but i don’t want to pay again for digital titles in the same household.
Picked up Dragon’s Dogma and really enjoying the game. I felt like Legolass from Lord of the Rings when I was able to jump on top of the Cave Troll’s back. The gameplay is a lot of fun and enjoy the music and sound effects. This is a great game on Switch.
You all talked me into getting Assault Android Cactus+, I checked out a few reviews and saw the trailer and being on sale just pushed me to buy it. It’s downloading now.
I picked this up at a 50% percent off, for 20€ and so far i’m really enjoying it. I was a bit undecided because i already own Titan Quest on Android and IOS, but playing with the controllers on the switch offers a much better playing experience. The graphics appear to be improved from the mobile ports and the game runs at a constant frame rate. Although the switch port is more expensive, it really is the best platform to play it on. If you like Diablo and Sacred types of games you should pick this up. I’m having a blast playing this game again. The switch does get a bit warm and it does suck the battery quicker than most games is the only negative that I find.
I really wanted to like Grip as the whole idea is clever, but for me the problem is that you are leading in the race and going full speed when all of a sudden a big obstacle, right in the middle of the road, stops you dead in your tracks and you lose the race. This happens in Riptide GP, but at least they warn you in advance to avoid it. I can’t believe whomever did the track design would think having obstacles in the track and traveling at breakneck speeds would be fun.
I’m enjoying Virtua Racing, it really handles well for an arcade racer and the controls feel better then Outrun which was a bit twitchy. I paid about €10 to get a 1000 yen card so the €3 premium was worth it to me to get the game early. Getting spammed in the news with Japanese characters is a bit annoying, but now I just ignore the news all together.
The real reason why they are doing this is to prevent second hand sales where the original publisher doesn’t make any money off of. If they use this business practice they should provide limited demos so you know what you are buying since you are stuck with it.

It’s included in my Tesla Model 3 but I haven’t tried it yet. Maybe during the next time I’m charging I might give it a try.
