It really needs to be 100% backwards compatible as there is no way that I'm rebuying my Switch library again.

Everyone seems to be forgetting that the Tegra X1 is from 2015. My gaming laptop from the same year, I7 5700HQ with GTX 960 has no hope of running this game either. It's amazing how well the Switch holds up based on it's technology.

Thanks for the heads up on Muramasa, I'll give it a go on my Steam Deck. I'll try Ganryu 2 on Steam Deck as I can always refund if it plays like the Switch version.

@Would_you_kindly Except the Namco Museum Archives are NES ports and not the arcade ports, but still well worth $5 when on sale.

I don’t understand the hate why 2 portable systems cannot coexist together? I have a Switch, I have a 512gb card full of games that I have bought digitally and at least 30 games I bought physically and I preordered the Steam deck and have been busy adding Steam games that are on sale while waiting for delivery.
At least now I have a choice for my portable gaming needs.

This is great for gamers because all of the lost games that no one wanted to port are available on Steam and they are almost giving them away.
I just picked up Flatout for €1.39 and Flatout 2 for €1.99 as they are the closest games to the original Burnout series.
Also looking forward to playing Fable and the original Halo game on handheld.
I’m super excited and can’t wait for my confirmed December 2021 availability for the 512gb model.
I’m also getting my legally owned Dreamcast GDI files ready so I can enjoy them as it appears Sega is not interested in porting them to Switch.

I recently picked up Namco Museum Archives 1 and 2 on sale now for €4.99 each for 11 NES games In each collection and I’m having a blast playing them.
The ports were done by M2 so they are quality. I hope more developers release their own games for cheap like this and you actually own them instead of being tied to online service.

While these are NES and not arcade titles, I’m having quite a bit of fun with these and well worth the discounted price. Definitely worth a pick up if your into retro games. The emulation is done by M2 so each game is perfect.

I’ve been playing Ghouls and Ghosts remix on my RG350 and I have been enjoying it. Search Ghouls and Ghots remix in google as it’s free and there is also a Windows version.
Capcom games go to 50% discount, I can wait a few months for a price drop.

Scott Pilgrim vs The World is already on sale at 20% off, that was quick to discount.

Ok just bought Space Invaders Invincible Collection from Japan eshop, was €26.71 for 3000 yen card and cost 2860 yen.

Looks like Space Invaders Invincible Collection is now on sale on the Japan eshop for €22.50, until January 11th, which makes it a much better buy than this release.

I may still pick this up when it goes on sale.

They are a few years too late for this, I got tired of waiting and got an rg350m.

I used to play this at a 7 Eleven store when I was growing up in Alaska. It was right next to the arcade game of Super Mario Bros. Was fun, I’ll probably pick this up as it has heavy nostalgia for me.
The title always made me think “Russian Attack" as during the Cold War Era Russia was our enemy and it sounded the same as Rush-N-Attack.

Well at least no one got shot while waiting in line this year like what happened in the ps3 launch.

I picked this up and it’s a true hidden gem. Plays like Final Fight on steroids. Really a fun beatem up game worth getting if your on the fence deciding.

I picked up Arcade Archives Zero Team and it plays like Final Fight on steroids. The best Final Fight clone that I have ever played, it’s a great addition if you like games like Final Fight. A true hidden gem for me.

I only know 1 guy who has a pirate switch and he only has about 5 games, but he cannot go online or upgrade his firmware.
The losses for selling used games are much higher then piracy which is why there is a push for everything to go all digital so that you cannot sell used games.

Hoping for a Ninja Baseball Batman release on the switch as that has to be the best beat’em up arcade game of all time.

Such an interesting story behind this, only 12 cabinets were ever made, early testing by Nintendo saw it as a flop, 11 cabinets were destroyed, remaining cabinet at Nintendo of America. The rest of the hardware cabinets were changed to Popeye games.
This game was mysteriously dumped by the Mame team and the cabinet at Nintendo of America is no longer working. If not for the Mame team this game would have been forever lost.

I picked up Xeon Racer for €1.97 and it runs well now as performance Issues are fixed. Sale ends in 2 hours.

If the game was made such a long time ago then why does it recommend an i7 cpu@ 3ghz and Nvidia GTX 2060 to play?

They just need to make a connector to display the switch on an iPad. Unfortunately Apple is extremely monopolistic and I doubt this would ever happen.

Price gouging has already started here in Spain. I bought mine preordered from Amazon Spain for €54.99 and now I only see them available for €70 to €80, that took less time then expected.

Pick up Arcade Archives Kangaroo and Konami Castlevania and Contra collections. At the moment I am enjoying retro gaming more then the new releases.

Those are <30 year old games that they will do a port with the same graphics and charge $50 each for.

Moto Racer 4 is under 5€ now, is there any fun to this game for that price? I like arcade racing games but it seems to have a lot of bad reviews.

NBA2K20 is a great game for less than €3. Online doesn’t interest me and neither does the My Team mode with all of the micro transactions. What it is good at is semi arcade, semi realistic gameplay with real players on real teams. For the price it’s a no brainer except the required 45gb space, but the game is worth it if you enjoy basketball.

1983 was the year of the great video game crash and we can see why some titles may be best forgotten. I grew up in the arcades in the early 80s and i don’t recognize half of these Hamster releases.

I just took a look at Nintendo on the stock market and they are at 44,370 which is close to their 52 week high of 47,000, I wouldn’t expect any real sales from Nintendo until Black Friday because as a business they don’t have to right now.

I picked up Wonder Boy Dragon’s Trap for 60% off and enjoying it so far. The amazing part of this game is the ability to switch from the original retro game to the hd remastered version by clicking the right trigger. Amazing game so far and recommended for retro game lovers.

Sega Lord X on YouTube gave a pretty good review of this and was constantly comparing it to the Saturn Original and besides a few small nitpicks the updated version got a favorable review.
In the end I will get this because of the great effort that was put into the remake deserves to be supported.

@Ooyah. On the Amiga 500 it was the first game that I remember that had really good voice acting that actually enhanced the game. It was like Civilization but in real time strategy so you had to move fast. Was great that you could make alliances with the other npc players and then stab them in the back when you no longer needed them by attacking them. Looks like SNES and Megadrive had ports but I’m not sure if they would play the same. I will have to try using an emulator and see.

@Ooyah I had an Amiga 500 but I never played that one. My favorite Amiga game was Megalomania. I will check You tube for Out to lunch.
I used to play Burgertime at my friends house who had Intellivision while I had Atari 2600, but I don’t think Atari ported that game.

I picked up Burgertime Party at 50% off as I am a fan of the arcade original from the early 80s and Burgertime Party includes the classic arcade levels with updated graphics and original music that was updated to sound better.
I also picked up Heavy Burger at 80% off.

Pitfighter really has aged badly. I remember seeing this in the arcade as the first digitized game and was impressed but played it recently using Mame to fulfill my childhood nostalgia and was super surprised as how flat of a game it really is.
I agree with the rest of the games on your list and would even suggest to add the Gauntlet series of games as they were a lot of fun with 4 players same as Simpsons, X-men and TMNT.

I picked up Celeste too as I can’t resist a big sale.

Looks good but what does this bring that’s not already in Asphalt 9. Maybe full game without micro transactions which means less daily grinding. I guess will depend on the price.

They ported MK 11 and it plays quite well, I don’t see a problem with Soul Calibur if the devs really tried.

It’s actually Jail Break, (two words) and it doesn’t look appealing, even by 1986 standards. Give us Rush’n Attack which was 1985 and a game that I enjoyed playing as a teenager.

Rush’ n Attack was aka Green Beret is a great Konami game that was never released. I gave up on this and currently enjoying all of the old arcade games on a Samsung S6 tablet. If and when these games ever get released I will buy them on the Switch.

Is Xenon Racer at 75% worth it? Did they ever fix this game?

By far it’s the best car that I have ever owned and the hype for this car is real. I’ve had Mustang GT Convertible and Porsche Boxster but the Model 3 has more power and acceleration while being more comfortable with more space overall. The car was a lot more expensive since I got the dual motor long range but it’s worth it.
I get free charging at my work and the car is extremely low maintenance so it makes up for the high cost. Everyone whom I have given a ride to is impressed and these are guys who own expensive Audi’s, Mercs and BMW’s.
Really feels like the future of cars and spend the extra for long range as the extra distance is always worth it. I don’t regret not buying the Performance model as it already beats any gas car that you see on the road.

Test Drive Unlimited was the last game that I can remember that Atari published that I actually enjoyed.
Although I enjoyed playing the 2600 as a kid, the Atari arcade games were so much better. Asteroids, Tempest, Centipede just to name a few.
Now I have the Atari arcade games in my Tesla Model 3 and can still enjoy them.
