P.s. I’m the guy who recommended it on this list. When I read NL saying that it hadn’t been released yet, I was screaming in my head, “yes it was!” Didn’t know it was pulled, though.

I have Laika in my Switch right now. Played two days ago. Another user was correct; this game released on the NA eshop in March of this year. Didn’t realize it had been pulled. NL would love this game if they could play it. It’s freakin’ fantastic and quite a challenge. Really glad I bought it when I did.

Chippy is actually quite good too. Just came out not too long ago. Very original in terms of gameplay also. I have most, if not all, of the previously mentioned games and Chippy deserves a mention for sure.

Finally, people who share my thoughts about the 3ds. I never understood why it wasn’t as huge as the regular ds. The effect was amazing and I couldn’t imagine playing Kid Icarus without it.

Love this article and I couldn’t agree more. It’s a masterpiece that I put more time into than any other game. After the amazing campaign, I was tearing it up online for a long time. Just fired it up the other day, actually. I won’t ever get rid of my 3DS because of it. While I would miss the 3D effect, it would be amazing on Switch and I have always hoped since the Switch was released that this would become reality. In my opinion, it’s the best thing Nintendo ever put out and its level of quality far surpasses many current mainstream games. I still don’t understand how they fit all that game into one of those old cartridges. Also, for me, the controls couldn’t have been more precise (sure, after a while, your hands might feel it, but that’s true for me for most handhelds, including the Switch).

If this isn’t a cloud version, then take my money! This game looks amazing and like my cup of tea.

I still have this cartridge for my 3ds. Absolutely love this game. Truly unique (there really is nothing like it still) and yes, a sharp learning curve but worth it. The colors and visuals in general are beautiful. It wouldn’t work quite as well on the Switch because of the control of the wisp.

I’m worried the mobile tracks won’t have the same detail as the console games and really worried they’ll look cheesy and out of place.

Agreed. Waluigi pinball is one of my all-time favorites.

This guy’s brilliant. Incredible for him to know that his “little idea” that most people probably chuckled at during the time would one day be a several billion dollar industry and a beloved pastime (and career for many) to millions around the world.

You’re right. It’s tricky for me since I’ve been playing this since day one but I loath f2p. This and Rocket League (which did the same thing) will be my only f2p games.

Believe it or not, this is one of the best games on Switch. It’s incredibly addictive and satisfying. When you really learn how to play, it becomes fast-paced strategic warfare. It is disappointing that I paid full price and now they’re doing this but I’ll forgive them if we’re given some exclusives. Wink wink.

Sorry, I’m on my way to work and didn’t read the whole article. Is there absolutely no single player mode? Also, if not, are there any plans Dotemu has on future updates that add single player?

It’s simply one of the greatest games of all time.

Never seen such a light release day. Better for my wallet.

I actually bought a Switch just so I could play this game. So worth it. And the million other games I’ve gotten since.
