Re: 3DS: Including StreetPass, SpotPass, eShop, Mii Maker & AR Cards

"Players will be able to view game videos, download demos for select games and see how other consumers rated the games."

So in short, its what the Shopping Channel on the Wii should of been in the first place.

"...they can check their friends list to see which of their friends are online and what they are playing."

Already its an improvement over the Wii's hardware FC system, it was almost useless save for sending messages.

I can still hear the 3DS mock laugh at the Wii ever since it was unveiled at E3.

Am I going to get it on launch, heck no, I can wait.

"We've approached Nintendo for more information about these functions and will update you as soon as we know more"

Mind also telling them the power button is at a dumb spot?

Anyway, if this is just as good as the other platforms (though I only know more on the Steam browser), then I am sold on the 3DS.

Re: E3 2010: Star Fox 64 3D for 3DS

Atlantis1982

Much I would like to get this, I still have my N64 copy with Hard mode still begging to be completed. It was one of my favorite multiplayer games back then, but with barely any information about how the 3DS will do online (only if its improved), and the fact if this game will have online multiplayer is one of the few reasons I might bite and get it.

Until then, no thanks.

Much I am amazed with the line up, I am still very worried with the online features. If its anything like that of Steam's service (not the download distribution portion, referring to the community aspect), then I will get a unit.

Re: E3 2010: Reader Questions - Day One

Atlantis1982

Thank goodness someone asked a question I would of asked myself (Kid_A @ Transfer).

I still want more information about the online infrastructure (friend codes doesn't bother me), and hoping that we can stay connected to our friends much akin to Steam's service (Not familiar with 360's XBL and PS3's PSN services all that well).

What I find truly amazing is that the 3DS managed to grab this game for a possible lineup than the Wii.

As I said on the SSF4 page, the 3DS is laughing at the Wii now.

Okay the titles are nice, the features are nice (really curious about the 3D camera ), and the hardware is nice, but...

I want to know more about downloadable content, and the online store.

Re: E3 2010: Live Text - Nintendo's Media Presentation

Atlantis1982

".How would 'that' screw up the system badly? I'm not interested in backwards compatibility, my excitement and hope lays in the 3D technology. If Nintendo didn't allow DSi Content on the 3DS, that wouldn't be that big of a deal"

Well if they can not do something so simple as this, try to imagine their plans for the next console, or anything related to a possible robust of their lackluster online infrastructure (and do not blame friend codes).

Re: E3 2010: Live Text - Nintendo's Media Presentation

"The 3DS alone warrants the best E3 Conference "
Assuming they do not screw it up badly, like not having the option for DSi owners to move their downloadable content from that system to the new one.

I do not own a DSi, but I am going to feel bad for those that did purchase stuff on that system.
