I would rather see the Pod Racer game come out, but I won't hold my breath for anything. I learned that lesson long, long ago in a galaxy far away. (Oh I am getting terrible with these SW puns )
Way I see it, they are still full of crap. Even if they want to support the HD consoles; they still didn't support the Gamecube, and wasn't it a beefy system at the least?
Ditto, and that is not good to have customers forgetting your product existing w/o informing them at least a few months time; not half to a whole year.
I guess they didn't get my survey response of Mappy from Nintendo Club; stating that the VC is utterly disappointing already and with the fact they just couldn't come up with one VC game is truly unbelievable.
Truly the saving grace for this week is Darklord which I will get later when I having nothing else to play.
So I didn't noticed you guys got Gradius for cheaper, albeit we got a few games for cheaper, but the fact its something that could be worth getting is rather envious.
Oh well, have fun with the games, if anyone is getting any of them.
I am glad they are not giving up on M rated games, and with that I say they should publish the next two HVS games (Gladiator and the one I am looking forward is The Grinder).
From what I have played with Water Warfare; it deserves to be higher, but I am not surprised with its current placement. Why I say that? The fact the only time I had more than two people to play with on online multiplayer was from our own NintendoLife members while trying to get in a game "Worldwide" fails to see at least one person at most. Sigh, I doubt WW will be the next #1 game, but I do think it is under appreciated, but I hope I am wrong.
I would get Water Warfare, but I have a bad feeling it won't be a popular game that people are going to get which is a crying shame. With that, I might not bother if there is hardly anyone here going to get it since its main target niche is the online multi-player.
Sounds plenty enough, but the lack of 3rd generation is a bummer, but I do like the 4th generation so that doesn't hurt. (Really doesn't care for 1st gen)
When we see one game releases, for either WiiWare or VC: people complain that they rather have more games released than just one for the sake of variety.
Now we see a load of WiiWare games, and people still complain.
We all can't have what we want at the same time otherwise everyone wouldn't bother coming back anymore. Besides, we all know how slow Nintendo does take to release THEIR titles so just let it come when they feel good and ready to release them. Heck, for the VC, we are granted what is the earliest version of Spore w/o the creature creator.
"Virtual Console releases are often the subject of jealous rants in the Japanese download comments and next week is certain to result in many green-eyed monsters frothing at the mouth with two outstanding arcade classics being released:"
Well at least Cho Aniki was a fun little SHMUP unlike Takeshi. Then again, anything is more fun than Takeshi anyway, so bad analogy. Either way, I always chuckle when it takes a source of unorthodox to make something as bizarre. Perhaps I might give this game a go, ah heck I was waiting for this game anyway with or without drinking inspiration.

Re: Japan Gets 20 More Namco Arcade Games
Now Namco, stop buying more toys and start sharing the ones you already bought to the other kiddies so that we can play too.
Re: Phoenix Wright Was Considered For Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom
Capcom Vs Nintendo would just be:
Super Smash Bros Battle Royale!
Re: What LucasArts games do you want to see on Virtual Console?
Honestly, just bring the N64 games; any of them. That is all I want.
Re: Flipnote Studio Available This Friday
I really don't get the whole hype for something you can draw on a bunch of note cards. >.>
Re: LucasArts Bringing Classic Games to Virtual Console
August has become Star Wars Wii month.
Re: Nintendo Download: Kindred Spirits, Rock N' Roll, Star Wars and Different Art (US)
"A New Hope" for the VC has come, and the force is strong with it.
Hopefully NyxQuest won't get overshadowed by this monumental release.
Re: LucasArts Bringing Classic Games to Virtual Console?
I would rather see the Pod Racer game come out, but I won't hold my breath for anything. I learned that lesson long, long ago in a galaxy far away. (Oh I am getting terrible with these SW puns )
Re: Super Star Wars
There is "A New Hope" for the Virtual Console after all.
Re: LucasArts Bringing Classic Games to Virtual Console?
Am I dreaming?!?!?!?!?!
A LICENSED GAME?!?!?
Think I might get this since I never played the SNES games.
Re: Samurai Warriors 3 to Feature a Nazo no Murasamejou Mode
I keep hearing bad things, but I never played anything like this series and it looks fun in my mind. So I hope to see this come state-side.
Re: Nintendo Download: Bonsai Barber, The Revenge of Shinobi and City Transport Maps (EU)
You know, I actually like the idea of city maps as DSiWare app-ware. Brilliant if you ask me, assuming I actually have a DSi and live in Europe. ;p
Re: Wii Sales Starting to Crash?
Well, we still have to get the Amish to buy these Wiis.
Re: Bonsai Barber out in Europe this week
I don't know if I would eat that cake; ever since I see what Charm City does, I think cake now is another medium for art.
Re: Tecmo Bowl
It shouldn't, if its like Mappy it can be set up for 6:9 or Widescreen.
Re: Nintendo Download: Mechas, Sexy Poker, Football and Art (US)
Would have bought Tecmo Bowl once Noon (or later) hit, but I have the DS game.
Re: Nintendo Download 04-05 August 2009 (JAPAN)
This is a nice way to tell NoA, and some aspects NoE, to go (censored) themselves.
Re: Wii PlayOn Beta Begins
Yeah, they failed to mention that part its a trial version. :grumbles:
Besides, some stuff on Youtube, like the free TV shows, Movies, and others can not be viewed on the Internet Channel.
Re: Wii PlayOn Beta Begins
@ Warioswoods
That is assuming Nintendo would let them do that, but I really don't see that happening. Probably why they have to do it this way.
Re: Nintendo Download: Driift Mania, The Three Musketeers, Monkey Island and Guitar Rock Tour (EU)
I really like to hear how Driift is going to play out. I don't care about online multiplayer, but I want to know if it is fun anyway.
Re: Worms Coming to WiiWare and Possibly DSiWare
Wonder how people, that are boycotting WiiWare in the name of the VC, will react to this. This is a very good thing.

BRILLIANT!
Re: Epic Games: Give Us HD Wii and We'll Talk
Way I see it, they are still full of crap. Even if they want to support the HD consoles; they still didn't support the Gamecube, and wasn't it a beefy system at the least?
Re: What Neo Geo games do you want to see on the Virtual Console?
@Tony
Sengoku is a start if you want beat-em-ups.
Re: What Neo Geo games do you want to see on the Virtual Console?
WHERE TO START?!?!
Windjammers
King of the Monsters 2
The Last Blade
Twinkle Star Sprite
Sengoku 1-3
...bring them all!
Too bad Nintendo of America is a (censored) big bag of (censored) failure.
Re: Nintendo Rep: Virtual Console Being Toned Down
@ Comment 96
Paranoia runs in their veins.
Re: Interviews: Driift Mania - Konami
Would of been nice to have online multiplayer; I don't have friends available to play with, let alone seven.
Re: Nintendo Download: Monkeys, Musketeers, Cards and Sudoku (US)
Way I see it, I might as play catch up with the backlog. I recently purchased Kirby 64, and probably will get Kirby 3 sooner or later.

Re: Bit Boy!! and Tales of Monkey Island Coming to North American on Monday
So in other news, nothing for me. Meh.
Re: What Capcom games do you want to see on the Virtual Console?
I just want any Darkstalkers game to come to the VCA or WiiWare. That is all.
Re: Konami Announces WiiWare Plans for Europe
@ Comment 14
Think people rather want Rondo of Blood than Castlevania Rebirth.
Re: Nintendo Download: Hanabi Festival 4, Gradius Rebirth, Bit Boy!!, Brain Challenge and Mario Apps (EU)
So I didn't noticed you guys got Gradius for cheaper, albeit we got a few games for cheaper, but the fact its something that could be worth getting is rather envious.
Oh well, have fun with the games, if anyone is getting any of them.
Re: Nintendo Download: Hanabi Festival 4, Gradius Rebirth, Bit Boy!!, Brain Challenge and Mario Apps (EU)
Even though this almost feels like a catch-up week; its just you guys got a crap-load of stuff which almost rivals a Japanese Wii/DSi Shop release.
Re: Sega Not Giving Up On Mature Wii Titles Just Yet
I am glad they are not giving up on M rated games, and with that I say they should publish the next two HVS games (Gladiator and the one I am looking forward is The Grinder).
Re: Final Fight 2
The VC needs more beat-em ups, but I was hoping there was some announcement for Sengoku.

Re: Japanese Virtual Console list - July 2009
@Terranigma
All I care is hoping Namco will start releasing to the other regions instead of being stubborn mules that don't want to touch the waters (oceans).
Re: Hudson Releasing Water Warfare, SimEarth and Sudoku 50! For Beginners This Friday
Nice release drop for Europe, but that is because I am rather partial toward Water Warfare.
Re: First Impressions: Melee! Pokemon Scramble

Re: BioWare Interested In Wii Development
Wait a minute, Bethseda is now interested after making that remark about Wii being a toy (I know it is, but it was a demeaning comment)?

in bad(censored) EPIC GAME of the CENTURY!Re: Harold Ramis Glad He Turned Down Mario Movie
Hey, I liked Multiplicity.
To be honest; wonder if Ramis would of made it a bit better if he was the director, or would he have no control of burning a script for another?

Re: Phazon Suit Samus Figurine Lights Up Your Life
Those baffled at figure prices...
Welcome to the world of nicely made figurines.
Honestly, is that really surprising?
Re: Nintendo Crafts Extravaganza!
_ Samus is kind of cute as a knitted doll.
(Annoyed) Invisible karots ftl.
Re: Japan Gets Wii Movie Rental Service
Would be nice if we can get this service/channel, along with the other 4-5 other channels we are missing. ;|
