It's my personal view that the VC draws from a pool of finite resources, which is now running dry.
Barring a couple of iterations of mariokart and the early Final Fantasy games, there's not really much left out there now that would be of sufficent quality and/or interest to the public at large to justify watever it costs in polishing the code up to get it onto the VC is there?
I'm almost tempted to get WW just because a swift google reveals so many uptight fanboys getting VERY UPSET INDEED over what looks like a silly FPS with the emphasis placed on fun rather than gravitas, Core Players and levels coloured mostly brown.
Is it just me, or does anybody else have the suspiscion that these 'improved' controls will end up with the EU release being prced a few points higher?
Excellent, I've got about 90 minute's play in(I've got a wife and kids, that's some serious time for me) and I'm just onto the fourth level.
Looks lovely, definite similarities with Lost Winds, but definitely tougher than LW. I don't care if it only takes me another 2-3 hours to finish, it's something I'll come back to like LW, Ico, Metal Gear Solid and, to a lesser extent, the God Of War games because the overall gameplay experience is so GOOD.
Most games have stories, but it's typically a fairly generic one(can anyone name me an RPG where one of the characters doesn't achieve some sort of redemption in the face of world/universe threatening danger? How cliched is Metal Gear Solid?) and are relatively unsophisticated compared to most other media. Nothing inherently wrong there, as in most cases the 'story' is only there to provide a reason for you to keep bashing the baddies in a slightly different coloured environments, at varying difficulty levels. Adventure games, tend to do 'story' a lot better than pretty much any other games but they've fallen badly out of favour in the last ten years.
Would it be overly cynical of me to suggest that perhaps the 'enhanced and improved control scheme' may result in the price being bumped up by a couple of hundred of points to 'cover costs'?
"It likely won't affect the games as Nintendo will want the new games to still work with the DS and DS Lite systems that many will continue to make use of. Yeah but games on DSiWare undermine that."
I have to confess that I think this looks dreadful, a hideous mash of gaming cliches tied together with some tiresome wacky jokes and scenary that arbitrarily kills you?

Astounding game. Amazing technical achievement.
Arguably the best Zelda game.
Re: Review: Final Fantasy Legend III (Game Boy)
I wonder if I've still got this cart knocking around at home.
I never did complete this game.

Is Hannabi Japanese for 'overpriced overrated old toot bought by guillable Westermers'?
Re: Nintendo of Europe Announces Upcoming Hanabi Games
I've often wondered. Is 'hannabi' Japanese for 'charge guillable westerners more for a load of old toot'?

Re: Doki Majo Plus Set To Interfere With Little Girls
There's not enough in the world for this.
Re: New Wii Zelda Artwork Leaked?
I think that TP lacks a lot in charm compared to a lot of the rest of the Zelda series.
Would LOVE to see a wii based 'toon link.
If only to see all the fanboy tears.
Re: Melee! Pokemon Scramble announced for WiiWare
Tell me it's got online multiplayer and it could be SOLD to Badger Towers.
Re: Gladiator A.D. Trailer Is Ready To Shower You In Gore
This STILL looks really gay.

Looks a bit homoerotic if you ask me.
Re: Fugazo Announces Frobot for WiiWare
Lovin' the music and sounds.
Proper old-skool that is.
Re: Rampant Speculation: IGN Teases New 'Hardcore' Title
I'm not normally one to jump on the 'this looks rubbish' bus based on oe screenshot, but this looks RUBBISH.
I bet Club We Want Hardcore loves it though.
Re: All new Icarian: Kindred Spirits screenshots
This looks LOVELY.
Shades of the original Prince of Persia in the graphical stylings?
Re: Peter Moore: "EA Needs To Do Better On Wii"
'TRY POSTING SOMETHING INTELIGENT'
I'm saying no more here.

Re: The N64 and Nintendo’s Fall From Grace
I LOVE all the fanboy whining after that article 'it's not fair, why do people who wash like video games as well now?'

Re: More DSiWare: Mighty Flip Champs!
"It likely won't affect the games as Nintendo will want the new games to still work with the DS and DS Lite systems that many will continue to make use of.
Yeah but games on DSiWare undermine that."
Why?
Re: First Impressions: Pole's Big Adventure
A 'humourous' pastiche of a bad game does not make for a good game alone.
Re: Hudson Releases Onslaught Screenshots
Whilst I'm not a fan of FPS I hope that this is a success as it might show other developers that you CAN do more with wiiware than just puzzlers.

Stufff that.
