The Genesis can do better than this, like it or not. It may not have transparency like the Super Nintendo, but it has been proven that Genesis can run Mode 7 with even better resolution. The sound cards are a matter of preference, tho.
This pretty much deconfirms GameCube games on eShop. If they're rereleasing the rerelease of a GameCube series, it's probably their way of making up for it. I never cared about GameCube in the first place, though it would be nice to finally play F-Zero GX.
98% of the time, before I even think about buying any game, I watch a short video on it. It should be obvious that YouTube is free advertisement. But of course Nintendo has to be money-hungry like everyone else...
@WinterWarm I'd still buy the original if I were you. The new one is not compatible with the old one's QR codes, and not all devs will want to port all of their games to the new program. Unless you plan on solely making your own games, I'd get both.

I actually agree with this. Nintendo worked way too hard to make the physics "realistic", and even today the 3D Mario games have the absolute worst control. Nintendo really should have taken a hint when people praised Mega Man's controls so much.
While i'm very happy this project is back on track, I hope it gets released for Wii U. I don't own a computer or cell phone, so it might be years before I can play this.
