There are a lot of classic video game franchises celebrating milestones this year, and joining them is Capcom's blub bomber, Mega Man.
December 17, 2022 will mark the iconic character's 35th anniversary. In the lead-up to this, Capcom has unveiled the official logo along with the first collaborative product - a t-shirt by the clothing brand AVIREX.
This shirt will go on sale in Japan this winter for 6,490 Yen (about $45 or 45€) and features retro Mega Man themes on it - including sprites of Mega Man and Proto Man. Capcom also showed off a timeline of Mega Man's anniversary logos over the years (via Rockman Corner):

Mega Man X9 maybe?
Mega Man 12 would be awesome, but I’d like Mega Man X9 as well. Also, they’ve proven to have a competent PlayStation emulator. They should give us a Legends collection including Misadventures of Tron Bonne.
I'm just not really into Mega Man, but I'm very happy for the fans that Capcom is acknowledging this beloved franchise again with all these compilations and the release of a new game in 2018 with hopefully more to come next year. I was over the moon when Activision finally revived Crash Bandicoot and Spyro after a decade of either mediocrity or just nothing. Same with Pac-Man. Fingers crossed y'all finally get Legends 3.
Let's hope they can finally mega manage to make Legends 3.
Wow the 20th anniversary logo doesn't even have Mega Man or even a Mega Man character for that matter on it.
Please do the Legacy collection of every Megaman games from NDS including the Star Force since the games price are really inflated on Ebay.
A full new game is always welcome I'd say. Maybe a new game in multiple Mega Man franchises! Classic, X, Battle Network, Zero, what have you. Remakes would count too.
A new Mega Man X game would be nice. Maybe they can even remake X7 into a playable 2D game...
Also, a collected release of the Game Boy Games would be nice.
Capcom not being in the same retro font ruins it.

Mega Man X is in limbo, I guess. Even the fan-made games that I've had my eye on have been in development for somewhere around 11-12 years. Mega Man X: Corruption can't come out soon enough! Still watching!
Hard to believe Mega Man is turning 35 this year. The series is still going through a bit of a dry spell with Mega Man 11 being the only brand new title released in the last 5 years but I have enjoyed seeing Capcom releasing the old titles as compilations.
Besides the BN Collection I'd eventually like to see X make a return in X9 or a Legends HD remaster of 1 and 2.
The 35th anniversary logo has the least effort put into it

It's obviously more profitable to do these celebrations and remind people to buy the collections and licenced merch than make a new game.

I've always had suspicions that Capcom gives Mega Man any attention out of sheer obligation, and they really couldn't care less about the Blue Bomber, and this logo does nothing to convince me those suspicions are unfounded...
Surely everyone at Capcom knows it’s a crappy logo, so why they do it?
I don't think they would ever do it, but it would be cool if Capcom made an All-in-One Mega Man Ultimate Legacy Collection with all the current collections in one huge 35th Anniversary Box Set and all games on physical media with no download codes. I think that would be pretty rad.
JUST GIVE ME MEGAMAN LEGENDS ON SWITCH! One of my favorite games of all time and it's literally stuck on PS1.

@invictus4000 It is/was on PSN (at least PS3). I have no idea how digital compatibility works on later consoles. Capcom eventually released the three Legends games, if only extremely late in the service.

The Mega Man Battle Network Collection is an instant buy for me but I want to give Star Force another shot, so it'd be cool if they offered both Star Force games digitally. I bought the first one when it came out, but I was so burnt out on the MMBN series by that point that I never spent more than an hour or so playing.

@MeloMan Mega Man X Corrupted (fan game 10 years in the making) is Mega Man X9 and it's better than anything capcom is doing with Mega Man.

I still have my holy grail copy of Mega Man Battle Network 6: Cybeast Gregar in complete mint quality.
I have been selling a lot of my GBA stuff because FPGA and emulation do it better.
