Gonna try this out sometime when I'm at home. Hurray for demos!

I used my drawing tablet for this, which was kinda neat. But the game isn't very fun... I mean, yeah, it's a puzzle game, so they're not supposed to be fun. But this was just simply uninteresting.

@DarkSquid: What do you mean with the "it's a puzzle game, so they're not supposed to be fun"? I'm having fun with my puzzle games. Mario's Picross is second most played on my 3DS with over 30 hours,

I was always planning on sticking to the Professor Layton series when this was announced and the reviews have been very average so far so it seems I was right when in thinking that it wouldn't be as good as the Professor Layton series.

I've not managed to see any reviews yet, despite looking......its abit of a worry that the game is launched on Friday but still not much has been seen of it. I bet Game and Gamestation won't have any in stock (like they haven't stocked Cave Story)

Can't say I enjoyed that demo at all. Just being thrown into puzzles like that without any kind of setup makes them feel so arbitrary, like a retread of the 7th Guest franchise.

There's too many mixed reviews, so I'll be skipping this one. LAYTON FTW!

How on Earth do you play that minesweeper game? I can't figure it out - I click on a box with 0 in it, and it tells me I've used up one chance...

Yeah, the minesweeper game makes absolutely no sense. How can a square possibly have NINE mines around it?

I think the numbers are reversed... a 0 actually means that every square, including the one on the 0, is a bomb. A 9 means that the 3x3 square is completely devoid of bombs and can be safely shift-clicked.

While the puzzles are anything but spectacular _{and sometimes not very well explained} the trailer after the demo still shows a lot of potential. Going by the mediocre reviews i think this will have to wait until a bigger price drop though.
