Hex Heroes has hit its mark and will be coming to Wii U. I am super excited for this game, even though i wasn't able to back it. I am slightly worried about the "party" aspect. I am slightly confused about the stretch goals, i thought some of those were promised in the pitch video. (I was wrong, the wording confused me) What do you think of Hex Heroes?
I received the mail that they made it. I put $30 towards it to get Kirkhope's hopefully awesome OST. Five days ago I thought they would never make it.
I was worried, but am so glad they did. Not only does it mean I will finally get a RTS on the GamePad but because they made their goal, it means we can talk about it without getting pushed to the standard Kickstarter thread lol!
People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

Ughhh, I was hoping 4 this thing to not get funded so it has a better chance to get funded next time it hits kickstarter and those stretch goals. (i'm too much of a sucker 4 stretch goals). But whatever, I'm glad to see this funded.
Was Mariobro4. No, I'm not taking off my backpack...it's important.

If it didn't work the first time, why would it work the second time (for stretch goals)?

From their KS page:
"If the campaign is a success, we'll be making Paypal an option on our site where we can continue to raise money and reach stretch goals - we'll also be honoring reward tiers all the same!"
So there you go, there is still a chance to get those stretch goals.

Ah, ok. Carry on!
@Lz. They made that game fresh outta the gate from dat game jam thingy, figured they take that failure and turn it into a couple more months of development from a cheaper inital goal and stretch goals. I've seen that happen with a couple of kickstarter projects. Though....then again some projects don't make it towards that round 2 on kickstarter.....

I'm glad to have given $45 to Hex Heroes. I'm hoping to enjoy it in 2015.

Kickstarter has instilled some really bonkers expectations in people, apparently.
Nice to see Prismatic got the funds they need to make the game, especially since it's my first ever kickstarter pledge.
BTW even though the deadline has been reach, people can still pledge money for the game to reach the stretch goals on their website with most of the reward tier still being honored for a certain length of time, just not at this moment in time. Edit: it's up http://prismatic-games.com/
Interesting statement from the team about the stretch goals.
"Now that PayPal is in place, we’ll be able to continue raising money for stretch goals. If the game is released before all stretch goals are met (which is more than likely), we vow to offer any stretch goals we develop as free DLC. A few of you have asked whether or not there’d be paid downloadable content somewhere down the line. We’d love to do that! In fact, paid DLC (if produced first) will help fuel the production of stretch goal DLC."

I hope people still help doate to the PayPal, but they're going to need to do something to help promote the fact that they are doing that. I'd love to reach 100,000. Honestly, I was hoping to get to the bosses stretch goal.

I liked that Hex Heroes introduced interesting characters of other indie games (Smash Bros. like).
I'm interested.
I hope the cameo characters get their own original games on the Wii U eShop too so we're not left with odd characters that we can only find in PC games (RUNNER2 does that with DLC).
KickStarter is terrible. Not really... but waiting for a successfully funded project that looks awesome to be completed is terrible.
Really glad this campaign made the goal. Hex Heroes looks like it could be great, and it's nice to see games that really take advantage of Wii U hardware in interesting ways. Hopefully funding continues through PayPal so that a stretch goal or two get unlocked!
